Libya Sufi shrines attacked in the name of “allah”

A shrine in the Libyan capital Tripoli venerating a Sufi Muslim saint has been partly destroyed.

The suffi shrine in Libya was party destroyed in the name of “allah”.

This is  – the latest in a series of attacks blamed on ultra-conservative Salafi Islamists.

Residents of Tripoli said men with bulldozers attacked the shrine on Saturday, unimpeded by police.
The attack came a day after hardliners were accused of damaging the tomb of a Sufi scholar in the city of Zlitan.

My comments:

I have deep respect for Sufi Muslims, who are pacifists. They will not use violence to promote their religion, but believe “Jihad’ is a battle for hearts and minds.

I hope and pray that they will see that Islam can not save anyone. Since the Koran was published, the circles of violence seems to never end.

If we look at what God of the Bible says about the nature of Ishmael, we can literally see that nothing ha changed for the past 3.000 years.

 Genesis 16:11-12

The angel of the Lord also said to her:
“You are now with child
and you will have a son.
You shall name him Ishmael,  for the Lord has heard of your misery.
He will be a wild donkey of a man;
his hand will be against everyone
 and everyone’s hand against him,
and he will live in hostility
 toward all his brothers.”

The Muslim attack on a Muslim shrine is yet another example.

The Bible says that the tribes of Ishmael must be saved. Since salvation is from the Jews, the Arabs needs to renounce Islam, and embrace God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel. Amen.

God of Israel is Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

  1. Whether they are peaceful or not, only Jesus can save them…I do pray also that His Word will go forth to reach many who are not yet in His fold.

  2. Luke 21
10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

When we read these words, we think of the ‘nation’ mentioned, as being whole countries.

When the children of Israel were in the wildernes, they were still a nation even though they had no home.

The native american indians used to describe themselves as ‘nations’ before the Western people got there and divided up the land into states.

We can see in the Arab world, different groups turning on each other.

The Lord Jesus spoke those words, describing what the world will be like prior to His return.

    Luke 21
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
