Two Qassam rockets struck the western Negev late Saturday night, triggering alarms in the southern town of Sderot after a two-week lull. No injuries were reported.

The launches come two weeks after two Katyusha rockets launched from Lebanese territory slammed into the northern Galilee.
A militant group claiming links to Al-Qaida said it was behind the firing, to which the Israel Defense Forces retaliated by firing shells into Lebanon. No one was injured on either side.
The group cited Israel’s blockade of the Palestinian enclave of Gaza and preventing worshippers praying at the Aqsa mosque in East Jerusalem as the reasons for the action.
Late last month Israel Air Force planes struck a tunnel in the northern Gaza Strip early Sunday in response to a Qassam rocket fired by Palestinian militants into the Sdot Negev regional council in the western Negev on the previous day.
Days before, Gaza militants fired two mortar shells at the western Negev, which landed near an Israel Defense Forces base. One soldier was lightly wounded and received medical treatment on site.
The Israel Air force responded later that day with bombing smuggling tunnels in the southern Gaza Strip. Three Palestinians died in the assault
Also, earlier in the month, militants fired mortars at a crossing into Israel just as Palestinian patients were being transferred for treatment.
The IAF responded by attacking smuggling tunnels, with no known casualties on the Palestinian side.

My comment:
It was only two Qassam from Gaza, whats the hurdle?
Why was there fired rockets from Gaza into Israel in the first place?
The people of Gaza has been ruling them selves since 2005. Gaza is no longer «occupied» by Israel, and all the Jews has left.
What if Israel had fired two rockets on Cairo? What would have been the response?
The purpose of firing rockets into Cairo, would be to tell tell the Egyptians to end the «occupation» of Gaza. Because after the Hamas took control over Gaza in 2007, Egypt has closed is border to their Muslim brothers in Gaza.
Since Israel left Gaza in 2005, and Egypt closed the border in 2007, if Gaza now is «occupied», its under occupation of Egypt. To blame Israel is unfair and an Islamic lie.
The logic of Hamas should have resulted in rockets being fired from Gaza towards Cairo, in a bid to get the border opened. Because firing rockets into Israel, will not result in the opening of the Egytian border crossing of Rafah in South Gaza.
The truth is that Hamas continue to fire rockets into Israel because it wants «Palestine» to be liberated. And the rocket fire will not stop before both Jerusalem and Tel Aviv has been handed over to the Islamic terrorists.
And when Israel can not take such provocations and war crimes any more, and respond by removing both terrorists and rocket launchers, The United Nations will send a delagation to the Middle East and accuse Israel of commiting war crimes. Thats a combination of evil and madness.
