I’m a 33 Year Navy Man. I’ve not seen the video. Don’t want to. Don’t need to. My relationship with God is rock solid. My behavior on the other hand is far less than perfect. Not just to me but to anyone familiar with the the notion that your life is a test. But God stays with me. The presence of God through his Son Jesus Christ and the holy spirit lifts my heart when I become sad thinking of what is to come. This is encouraging. It lets me know how real it all is. Through all the trials and rejections, through all the judgements and persecution, its what I do with it that matters. When you feel the nervousness, the fear in your heart, the need to worship fervently…do it. The sensation is almost impossible to resist. Sadly, it is possible to misinterpret the sudden urgency of it all. Our young men and women feel it but ignore it or do just the opposite. You will find relief either way. If you do it properly, you will feel the relief that only the holy spirit can bring to you. You only have to feel this once to know whats at stake. It will be like nothing you’ve every known or ever will. “Choose” not to follow the signs from heaven and you will still get relief…it will drag you down for however long it takes to bury what you know is right and replace it with the alternative. I used to pray (in hiding) for this curse to be lifted away.
