Baker, Jesus and weird fish

The Pentecostal Church has been compromised and derailed by the Word of Faith movement.

Unclean New Age spirits have been released in the church in the name of “Jesus” by persons like Heidi Baker and Todd Bentley. Solidly supported by god.tv

  1. I first came across this stuff in the early 90’s. It still goes on. In a congregation, some years ago, a woman in front of me started shaking, without even being prompted. I thought, oh God, not again. My next thought was: Don’t you DARE. Don’t you dare start that nonsense in here. The shaking stopped, thankfully.

    1. Dear Tellthetruth1

      Shalom, and love in Jesus.

Yes, we need to confront and expose it. The Churces are silent, and are being compromised.

  2. Amen, this is CRAZINESS! I too see this early on. Even today i try to explain that tongues are different languages. This ‘glossolalia’ is just babbling. Tongues were used to preach in other languages, not for this nonsense!

    1. Dear Tony

      Shalom, and love in Jesus.

The Pentecostal movement do permit praying in toungs. Sometimes biblical, with proper interpretations done.

But when sadus, baba’s and New Age hero’s are hailed by Heidi Baker, she show her true colors. Many Christians are not aware that “Jesus” is honored and adored in the New Age movement. These people obviously hate the traditional Bible obeying churches.

      1. You are totally correct Sir! The biggest issue i see is that most don’t know that this is babbling. The Bible is specific that tongues is another language, not what she is doing.
This New Age is a lot like Olsteen, Warren, Joseph Prince and many others who are all about ‘prosperity preaching’. We have enough motivational speakers in the pulpits. We need more that speak from the Word! You are so right, they hate the Bible obeying, this is where Truth really is!
        For tonight: Happy Sabbath Sir!

      2. OK Folks, rather than follow our own traditions, lets see what the word of God says regarding tongues/interpretation, and prophecy…

        1 Corinthians 14
1Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy. 2For anyone who speaks in a “”tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit.”

THEY DO NOT SPEAK TO PEOPLE. THEY SPEAK TO GOD. AND WE WON’T UNDERSTAND WHAT IS BEING SAID BECAUSE THEY UTTER MYSTERIES. UNLESS GOD GIVES SOMEONE AN INTERPRETATION, BECAUSE IT ISN’T NORMALLY FOR OUR EARS !!!

3But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouraging and comfort.

PROPHECY IS FOR THE CHURCH IN GENERAL TO UNDERSTAND. SO IF IT IS GIVEN IN A FOREIGN TONGUE, IT SHOULD BE FOLLOWED BY AN INTERPRETATION.

4″”Anyone who speaks in a tongue edifies themselves””, but the one who prophesies edifies the church. 5I would like every one of you to speak in tongues, but I would rather have you prophesy. The one who prophesies is greater than the one who speaks in tongues, unless someone interprets, so that the church may be edified.

THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PROPHECY AND TONGUES! THERE IS ALSO AN OBVIOUS DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TONGUES HEARD AT THE FIRST PENTECOST (each in their own language) AND WHAT IS SPOKEN OF HERE. THOSE TONGUES/LANGUAGES WERE A GIFT OF THE SPIRIT, GIVEN SO EVERYONE COULD UNDERSTAND THE GOSPEL PREACHED.

      3. As Ivar knows, I am Pentecostal. Both my parents are as well. I have seen few people speak in tongues. I also have seen demons cast out in the Name Of Jesus, healings in the Name of Jesus, and several other things. As Phil pointed out, in 1 Corinthians 14, they do not speak to people but speak to God.
        This is what I believe.

Now are there people out there, who “mimic” these things? Absolutely. This is where we must discern and pray to Jesus that we may recognize.

    1. Dear spookchristian

      Shalom, and love in Jesus.

Heidi Baker has accepted the same unclean spirit as plenty of the Charismatic Word of Faith teachers. They accept the Pope, and wants Evaneglicals to team up with Roman Catholics. I have not make the video about Baker’s acceptance of the Papacy, but it will be make shortly.

      1. Like Ms Baker, Mr Copeland, Tony Palmer and so many others, they all are gravitating toward the one world religion that catholicism is calling on. Interesting times we are living in Sir! i have seen no other site that brings truth out in such a straight forward manner, as yours.

      2. Yesterday another Word of Faith Teachers Amy Lancaster preached on a women conferance in Norwegian Christian TV.
There came a hiss, a whistle sound out of her sometimes while preaching and in the aftermeeting praying for People.
        A serpent toung sound.

        It was disturbing .

  3. You are right, this is real Deception, but pentacostals in Norway are not aware that in some pentacols meetings it is kundalini spirit that is manifesting. That is not of The Holy Spirit. New age hinduisme preach another Jesus that did not die for Your sind. By the way it is a lot of similarities in catholism and hinduism.
Even islam….I was surprised that the chanting muslims are doing in Mecca sounds excactly like the chanting in Varanasi a holy city in India.

  4. No Phil, this is called ‘glossolalia’. This is one verse taken out of context in Corinthians. This, in Biblical terms, is BABBLING! Nothing more, nothing less.

    1. tony,

Yours is a perfect example of letting the tradition of your church overrule the word of God. You criticize Catholics for doing the same.

Your SDA doctrine is of another Christ. Not the one whose sacrifice paid for all our sins, past, present, and future. While your faith is in your personal ability to keep God’s laws you remain in the filthy rags of your own righteousness. And that is the road to Hell.

      1. Tradition? No Phil, its called the Bible. Stick with it and you won’t be so easily deceived. My SDA doctrine, as you define it, was actually something i, with God, in the middle east, and no outside interference, was able to understand after much prayer. You simply do not understand the context and of which laws Paul is replying (see 2 Peter 3:15-16). There are 2 laws Phil, do you not know this? And obedience is really not that difficult Sir. This is simply about His Holy Day, nothing more. Or do you too deem the other 9 as unobtainable? Nevertheless Phil, either of these verses can really do you well: John 14:15, or, unfortunately 2:3-4. To sum it up: if you don’t keep them, Phil, you, Sir, are a LIAR! according to scripture of course.

      2. Hey Phil, the tradition of my church, as you put it, was actually something that God showed me in the middle east, studying, praying with only Him. No SDA was needed to come to the Truth for a conclusion. It is sad that you try to justify your constant sinning with this ‘cheap grace’ that you have made it.
How bout this: a cop gives you a ticket for speeding, rips it up and sends you on your way (grace). Only an ungrateful IDIOT would continue to speed. A man of God is a man that changes and repents (turns from sin) and stops sinning!
Get it? If not, oh well, i did try. I guess common sense is just not so huh?

  5. Phil, sorry for the typo: 1 John 2:4. Simply put sir, if we love our spouse, do we tell them? do we take out trash? do we open doors? This is called a relationship. Christ asks us of only one thing, John 14:15. So if those that are not grievous nor burdensome seem burdensome, then perhaps your marriage or relationship with the Creator is not what you thought it was. I know, maybe you can write a book about this topic?!

    1. tony.
Instead of flying off on tangents in order to try to win on aggregate, why don’t you simply stick to the issue. That being what Paul was saying to the Corinthians. You claimed I took it out of context. Okay! Put it in context, and tell us all why it doesn’t mean what it says in plain English.

  6. Ok, you win. All the blessings of doing His Word (Rev 22 as only one of the many scriptures), all the warnings of the prophets (the entire OT), all the requesting of Christ Himself to simply ‘keep My Commandments’ (John 14:15), they all mean nothing.
Follow Paul Sir, you certainly seem more interested in misquoting him than in what the Creator has said.
Rule of thumb: if Ps 1:1-3 says His Law is perfect, and God says it lasts forever (Ps, Luke…) then surely anyone contradicting this would be someone worth following…right? NOT! Looks like 2 Peter 2-4 is totally about YOU! =)

    1. Ah! So now we get to what that demon was whispering into your ear during your road to Damascus experience. “The Bible isn’t the inspired word of God, at least not all of it. Only the parts that agree with what I tell you”.

You silly man! All scripture is God breathed. Who are you, or anyone else in your SDA cult to reject the teachings of Christ’s apostle Paul?

Repent your pride induced error, and receive the free gift of Christ’s salvation by grace alone, or you will die in the filthy rags of you own self-righteousness with Hell your final destination.

      1. Dear Phil Mayo.

        Shalom, and love in Jesus.

I do not defend the SDA. But it is my calling to present Biblical truth. The debate on the relationship between the law and grace, is now 2.000 years old. I belive the fear of God will avoid us taking Hi grace for granted. If a man say he loves Jesus, but goes on breaking His commandments, my best gues is that this man will face jugdment. “goes on”, mens defendig the error, and not being willing to change his ways, and admit that what he is doing is sinful.

Dealing with sin, is not always easy. The desires of the flesh is strong, and even Paul the Apostle was strugling.

      2. Silly Man? Funny, Jesus called you the LIAR who does not know Him. I am firm in both my knowledge and what i am doing. You can go on pretending that Paul has somehow crossed out the relationship aspect of salvation. Point the finger there oh blind follower of what you thought Paul said! The Bible is the Perfect Word of God, you should learn it! The entire Bible. I recognize your pride early and chose to drop it. Like Christ said, you are nothing more than a Liar and truth is NOT in you.
My knowledge would not be accepted. See, i found these truths BEFORE i became SDA. So no slow thinker, these were not SDA beliefs in my case. Its simply knowing that the Bible supports itself in entirety. Must actually stink for someone that has Paul contradicting what Christ has said actually. Why do you have a Bible? They are directions for Christians, not do nothing, stuck on milk, lazy ones who like to pretend they are in a relationship.
1 John 2:4 – Phil does NOT keep them therefor Phil is a LIAR! and truth is not in him. live with it or repent oh blind one!
        too easy to understand!

  7. Correct you are Mr Ivar, His Grace is sufficient! Yet, ‘i die daily’ and the hundreds of texts about His law being perfect are still ignored by so many. Commandments are simply done out of love, as my Savior and Creator has specified. Im sure others will bend this and try to justify their adulterous relationship with the King but you are right!

Please read the following Bible quotes, then respond to my challenge…

    1 Corinthians 3: 12-15
Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13each man’s work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man’s work. 14If any man’s work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. 15If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss; BUT HE HIMSELF WILL BE SAVED, YET SO AS THROUGH FIRE. (end quote)

    Romans 7 to 8:8
1Or do you not know, brethren (for I am speaking to those who know the law), that the law has jurisdiction over a person as long as he lives? 2For the married woman is bound by law to her husband while he is living; but if her husband dies, she is released from the law concerning the husband. 3So then, if while her husband is living she is joined to another man, she shall be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is free from the law, so that she is not an adulteress though she is joined to another man.
4Therefore, my brethren, you also were made to die to the Law through the body of Christ, so that you might be joined to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God. 5For while we were in the flesh, the sinful passions, which were aroused by the Law, were at work in the members of our body to bear fruit for death. 6But now we have been released from the Law, having died to that by which we were bound, so that we serve in newness of the Spirit and not in oldness of the letter.

7What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? May it never be! On the contrary, I would not have come to know sin except through the Law; for I would not have known about coveting if the Law had not said, “YOU SHALL NOT COVET.” 8But sin, taking opportunity through the commandment, produced in me coveting of every kind; for apart from the Law sin is dead. 9I was once alive apart from the Law; but when the commandment came, sin became alive and I died; 10and this commandment, which was to result in life, proved to result in death for me; 11for sin, taking an opportunity through the commandment, deceived me and through it killed me. 12So then, the Law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good.

13Therefore did that which is good become a cause of death for me? May it never be! Rather it was sin, in order that it might be shown to be sin by effecting my death through that which is good, so that through the commandment sin would become utterly sinful.

    The Conflict of Two Natures

14For we know that the Law is spiritual, but I am of flesh, sold into bondage to sin. 15For what I am doing, I do not understand; for I am not practicing what I would like to do, but I am doing the very thing I hate. 16But if I do the very thing I do not want to do, I agree with the Law, confessing that the Law is good. 17So now, no longer am I the one doing it, but sin which dwells in me. 18For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh; for the willing is present in me, but the doing of the good is not. 19For the good that I want, I do not do, but I practice the very evil that I do not want. 20But if I am doing the very thing I do not want, I am no longer the one doing it, but sin which dwells in me.

21I find then the principle that evil is present in me, the one who wants to do good. 22For I joyfully concur with the law of God in the inner man, 23but I see a different law in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin which is in my members. 24Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from the body of this death? 25Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, on the one hand I myself with my mind am serving the law of God, but on the other, with my flesh the law of sin.
    Deliverance from Bondage

1THEREFORE THERE IS NOW NO CONDEMNATION for those who are in Christ Jesus. 2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. 3For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, 4so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 5For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, 7because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so, 8and those who are in the flesh cannot please God. ( end quote)

Now tell me you are still under law, and how you can lose your salvation gentlemen.

    1. Dear Philip Mayo

      Shalom, and love in Jesus.

      You wrote:

Ivar and Tony. Please read the following Bible quotes, then respond to my challenge…

      My reply:

On this site, all readers are called to make short comments, and debate one topic at the time. The question was: Can a man loose His salvation? No one need 100 lines of Bible quotations to answer this question. The answer is so simple, that even a child can undrstand. Yes, we are created with a free will, and can turn and walk away from faith in Jesus the Messiah.

      1. Correct you are Sir, i love short and sweet! Interesting answer: if he were truly converted, he would know Gods love and never trade it, or would quickly repent. Or, if he gets lost, the bigger is, was he really converted?

      2. Ivar,

Yes it does take all of what I quoted to answer the question, because if I extracted the relevant verses from their passages of scripture, I would immediately be accused of quoting them out of context by puerile scoffers like Tony.

As to yourself. You don’t have a scriptural argument in support of your beliefs. Which means you are guilty of allowing your church traditions to overrule the word of God. There is no excuse for a preacher who is too lazy to study the scriptures.

  9. Tony,
This question is for you to answer:

Your SDA doctrine attempts to separate the TEN COMMANDMENTS from the law written by Moses. Take note of the fact that Paul quotes one of the ten commandments in Romans 7:7 above.

Do you still claim he is only talking about the law that Moses wrote, and not God’s ten commandments?

  10. Is this really as difficult a puzzle for you as it seams Phil? Yes, with the Bible making many differences, why is it that you are blind to this obvious truth? Again, run to the SDA doctrine instead of the fact that it is COMMON SENSE. Do you need a list? Nevermind. Moses and God. No diff, rock of whatever Moses put it on. No difference in perfect and imperfect. No diff in lasting forever and ending at cross. Sorry, getting exhausted. While many are on trig and higher learning, you seem stuck with simple adding and subtracting.

  11. Stop arguing brothers towards one another. If u both (all) love the one and True Jesus, there should be no hatred among you. The Word is for building up, correcting, guiding, encouraging, protecting one anothers faith not to throw dirt and bombs at each other. None of us understand it all, we need one another surely as we gracefully follow our Masters step in all meekness and encouragement. SDA follows Mrs prophetess Ellen White. This woman is definitely not from the Living God, she probably tried to do the right thing but rather chose to fell into temptation of satan trap and was brought up and inspired by the devil to be her own master and to lead the masses astray. Beware of her ungodly teaching you children of God just as you should be on your guard of all falsehood coming in christian name such as hebrewroots teaching, Rick joyner, popy church and doctrines, ecumenical /Alfa course doctrines among others. There are all so many falsehood around us, among us. Yes, God allows it, if our eyes are opened we should therefore not boast but with deep respect and sensitive caring for others to reach them in love and warn them as we care of our own self in and out of season. If you are bold in Christ , you follow nothing , no one but the True Jesus. And will not be afraid nor care about what man says. Churches and assemblies are wonderful as long as it is protecting and nourishing your souls the true way. Else its a poisonous place to be as you will be forced to reject the anointing presence of the Holy Spirit to fit into their own false and devilish anointing that will surely take you away from the Truth and kill your spirit over and over again. Please pray diligently, in all meekness, in love towards one another. Jesus is soon at the door. He sees right to the heart. No one can fool Him. Praise God. Cry for the lost souls, be sensitive in the spirit. Allow His Joy to fill your heart at all time even in the time of trouble. He is surely Faithfull in all good things, your reward is in Him and from Him.
