Catholics and Anglicans worship their Pope in the same manner

Should the Catholic behavior in front of their Pope, be branded as idol worship? On this web-site you can see that many Kings, Prime Ministers and even an Arab terrorist have bowed down before him, to kiss his gold ring with an claimed to be image of the Jewish Apostle Peter.

Catholic Bishops in front of their Pope during their ordination
Catholic Bishops in front of their Pope during their ordination

One of the readers commented that the Catholic behavior in front of the Pope was an act of respect. Well, I guess the bishop during the ordination, must be careful not to rub their nose on the floor, all facing the Pontiff?

Not only Catholics worship the Pope. You have seen a picture of Yasser Arafat doing the same. The Pope him self have even gone to the extreme of kissing the Koran.

The head of the Church of England seeks the Pope as his spiritual head
The head of the Church of England seeks the Pope as his spiritual head. Kissing the «Ring of the Fisherman».

Also the protestant Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams seems to be of the opinion that he needs to kiss the «Ring of the Fisherman». There you go! Even the Anglican Church is full of idols in form of statues. Birds of the same feathers, flock together.

This kind of submission and «adoration» is not even required in front of Kings.

This kind of «adoration» of any human being, can never be branded as Christianity. If you have received the Holy Spirit, you would simply not do this. You would obey the Word of God, and worship Jesus of Nazareth in Spirit and in truth.

Do the Catholics obey the Word of God? Lets take a deeper look:

Isaiah 46: 6:8

«Some pour out gold from their bags and weigh out silver on the scales; they hire a goldsmith to make it into a god, and they bow down and worship it».

«They lift it to their shoulders and carry it; they set it up in its place, and there it stands. From that spot it cannot move. Though one cries out to it, it does not answer; it cannot save him from his troubles».

Pope17

Since the Bible says we should not make such idols in the first place, why do they even carry them on their shoulders? And since the Bible explains to us through the prophet Isaiah that this is worship of idols, what makes the Catholic`s think they can escape the coming wrath of God?

And when the priest does such sinful acts, what do you expect from the laymen?

Pope16

And from where did they get the inspiration?

The faithul carries Pope Pius XII on their shoulders inside the Vatican in 1951
The faithful carries Pope Pius XII on their shoulders inside the Vatican in 1951

And even worse. In darkness, behind closed doors, a Catholic Archbishop and his priests, pouring out incense, not to the forbidden name of «Queen of Heaven», but before the coffin of a dead saint.

The The Catholic Archbishop of Goa in India and his priests worship a bony corpse in secret.
The Catholic Archbishop of Goa in India and his priests worship a bony corpse in secret.

And I could go on, and on, and on. But the Bible says they will never listen:

Revelation 9:20
The rest of mankind that were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols that cannot see or hear or walk.

  1. This site seems to have a complete and insistant desire to misunderstand and spread misunderstanding about the Catholic Church and Catholic theology (e.g. incorrect interpretations of Catholic practices based on not understanding the Protestant vs. Catholic definitions of the word “worship”).

I am a practising Catholic who knows that there are many things/actions about which the Church can (and maybe even should) be criticized. However, Her theology is not one of them.

Before you continue what you’re doing, take some time to truly understand what you are talking about and from what historical context the issues you have with the Church practices are taken.

On a side note, I find it ironic that the two most controversial Catholic beliefs to Protestants are literally taken right out of the Bible. The belief that the communion bread actually turns into Christ’s Body and Blood is literally straight out of the Gospels (“This IS my body . . . This IS my blood”) and is further defended by Christ himself in John 6. Second, the prayer honouring Mary (the Hail Mary) is taken right from Gabriel’s words and Elizabeth’s words to Mary in Luke. And asking her to pray for us when she is united to Christ in Heaven is no stranger than asking one’s friend to pray for us while we are on Earth.

My suspicion is that you were either deeply hurt by someone who has ties to the Catholic Church or you were educated very poorly about Catholic theology and practices. Either way, I pray that God blesses you and leads you to His Truth.

    1. Dear Stella

Shalom, and thanks for this comment.

Jesus did not tell us to eat his flesh, and become cannibals. In fact, we who are doers of the Gospel, are His body. Not the bread.

      1 Corinthians 10:16-17
Is not the cup of thanksgiving for which we give thanks a participation in the blood of Christ? And is not the bread that we break a participation in the body of Christ? Because there is one loaf, we, who are many, are one body, for we all partake of the one loaf.

When His disciple asked Jesus, if he wanted them to eat his body, He rebuked them.

      John 6:63
The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life.

The Bible also forbid us to drink blood.

      Leviticus 3:17
” ‘This is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live: You must not eat any fat or any blood.’ ”

Jesus do not want us to become neither lawbreakers, nor a form of Vampiers. Did Jesus drink His own blood?

Or did He during the Last Supper request us to drink of the same cup of death to this World as His, and forever remember His sacrifice on the cross, which is the place He shed His blood, the only blood that can purify us from all stains of sins?

  2. I find it interesting that you pick and choose verses out of context to defend your position (e.g. What about John 6 where Jesus says “I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats of this bread will live for ever; and the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.” And then continues and does not call back the people who were offended by this teaching and left him. A grave mistake of Jesus, since they were walking away from him and their own Salvation because they could not accept the teaching that they were to eat his flesh. He should have told them that they would have only been eating a symbol of his flesh and blood.)

Also, you use over-simplified logic to defend your positions. If you understood Catholic theology at all, you would understand that Catholics are not cannibals or vampires – and that your position is a childish and shallow look at a profoundly deep aspect of Catholic theology.

In sum, I will not waste any more time on this site – it is clear that you are convinced beyond reason and have spent many hours (and perhaps years) learning how to use Scripture for your own ends, according to your own special logic which insists on remaing ignorant to the real teachings of the Church.

I am convinced that nothing that anyone could ever say would ever convince you of any other perspective than your own. That is, until whatever wound you have regarding the Church is healed by God’s grace. God bless you.

    1. Dear Stella.

Shalom. You are always welcome to publish your comments o this site. I believe in both freedom of expression, and freedom of religion.

In fact, I have been a non-believing but practicing Catholic for many years. When I started to read the Bible, I saw what every child above the age of 7 should be able to understand. The Catholic Church breeds sin, and leads people to the everlasting fire of Hell. There is no truth in her, only a lot of man made religious stuff.

I love the Catholics, and interact with Catholics all day long.

That Jesus is the bread that came down from Heaven, will make all the bakers on Planet Earth impressed. You just have to become a Catholic and «eat Him», Stella, you have to repent. Jesus is the WORD OF GOD that came down from Heaven. A Word the Catholics do not believe is infallible, the One who could give them eternal life if they would only read Him and obey Him.

      John 14:23:

Jesus replied, “If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.

  3. Most of the Catholics only care about tradition and being greeted in the marketplace. Great article, the Catholic religion is obviously Satanic in nature. I hate to see young people deceived by this religion. Many who are raised Catholic turn out to be twice the son of Hell, because they’ve never heard the Gospel or known the power of God, they just heard: Tradition, Tradition, Pope, Mary.

    1. I used to make these comments too, before I actually went into a Catholic Church, observed, and realized that Catholics do the same as Protestants, and worship our Lord all the same.

      For one thing:
The pictures of the Bishops laying prostrate is part of the ceremony and has been so for centuries. It’s not about worshipping the pope – it’s about laying down your life for the Gospel, which they demonstrate by lying prostrate in front of the cross.

      Secondly:
Kissing the Ring of the Pope – why is this bad? Don’t the letters of Paul tell us to greet one another with a holy kiss? Kissing his ring is a custom with no significance – Protestants, Catholics, Eastern Orthodox, even Atheists have kissed it all the same. It’s not going to make you any better or worse off.

      1. Dear Catholic Guy.

Shalom, and welcome to this site.

You are deadly wrong. Do not let the Catholic Church rob you from your salvation.

        1. God the Father is “The Holy Father”. The Pope is not “The Holy Father”. Jesus banned us for calling our priests “Father”, and He only calls His Father in Heaven, “Holy Father”.
        2. A Pagan goddess was called “The Queen of Heaven”. There is no “Queen of Heaven”, but Satan Him self operating from the abyss. The Catholic Church calls Mary the Queen of Heaven, which is pure blasphemy.
        3. To lay flat before the Pope is worship of the Pope. If not, the priest should rather be facing the door, to display that the throne of the Pope in not an idol.
        4. The Ring of the fisherman is a gold idol ring. You bow before it, kiss it, and submit to the authority of Pope as “god”, “The Holy Father”. The very replacement of Jesus on Earth, “The vicar of Christ”.

        This is the truth.

There is no Holy Spirit in the Roman Catholic Church.

You are free to accept this, or reject it. If you reject it, you will not be found in the Kingdom of Heaven. Make no mistake.
You were told, the day you find your self in the fire of Hell.

  4. I’ve noticed when the Pope travels abroad and after departing the plane that a military guard is usually present. They salute this man with their rifles raised upright. He is the head of the tiny nation, Vatican City, but by no means is he head of the true church of Christ – the body of believers – who are children of the living God. Jesus Christ is Head; the pope, he is just a proud man puffed up by his loyal followers.

  5. I’ve read all of this and it’s stil the same. Sad but true, anyone no matter who they are will be so led by their parents, heritage and rule of thumb to believe a lie than to believe the Truth. It frees them from any and all accountability, a few ‘hail Mary’s, Our Father in Heaven’s and say the Rosary and/or light a candle…Amazing how this world has lifted up Catholocism for centuries and ‘the same ones curse Jesus with the same breath, and/or say His Name in a curse word. The Mobsters are all (99.99%) Catholics, and they find it a safe place to trust in their Eternal Life, though it is on Quick-sand. Jesus made us Kings and Priests, yet these Catholic believers would rather give a man and a group of men credit which the Pope ie Catholic Church only makes people ‘saints’ after many hundreds of years. Though recently they have lessoned their rules to make the dead saints sooner than ever before..These like any other cults sad to say have no desire to serve The Lord Jesus Christ and be submissive to The Holy Spirit. That would lift anyone up higher than they are in their own eyes.

    1. LOL, Denise—I always think the same thing. When I look at his face objectively, I think that he looks like any other eighty-something man. But there is something about his eyes that puts me right off. When he looks full into the camera there is a blackness there, I think. Benedict XVI, when he was known as Cardinal Ratzinger, was a “close spiritual adviser” to John Paul II for over twenty years. Could that be the reason why John Paul took on more of the trappings of Satan? In his later years, he never seemed to be without the Satanic “bent cross” staff. I don’t recall seeing him carry it until after the attempt on his life. Of course, I think that John Paul II was selected because of his devotion to Mary which was to be a theme of his papacy and something that the Vatican “super-force” has emphasized in their bid to demote Christ (probably in order to facilitate the Satanic “ecumenism” of the one-world-faith). Already, there are a great many Muslims who are devoted to “Mary”. The RCC will seek to build on that to usher in the “new world order” with the RCC at the head of a “one-world faith” supporting that “new world order”. In grave error, they teach that “Mary” is the “woman” of Revelation 12.

The worst RCC heresy, in my opinion, is that of ignoring the Messiahship of Jesus/Yeshua, in their insistence that the RCC replaces Israel. When the Philippian jailer asked, ” Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”, he was firmly told, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ…” That is the essence of the gracious gospel of our Lord. There is much there IN THOSE THREE WORDS. “The Lord”—there is only “ONE LORD, one faith, one baptism” (emphasis mine). “Jesus/Yeshua”—“there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.” and finally (and perhaps most importantly), “Christ/Messiah” —the longed-for Anointed One, the Passover Lamb of God, who would “take away the sins of the world.” Not only do they not have the “words of eternal life” (John 6:68-69) for themselves but they deny them to those they lead. (Matthew 23:15) The tragedy is that most Catholics will die in their sins because they do not know or believe that Jesus is Israel’s Anointed One and that He has no equal—certainly NOT “Mary” as the “co-Redemptrix”. (all Catholics need to read and understand John 8:24).

      1. Dear Ellen,

I find some of your posts to be self-righteous and hypocritical. Just because you claim to have attended a “bible college” you don’t have all the answers. This contradiction makes your comments really hard to digest — the mocking, “know-it-all” attitude that is unbecoming to the Lord. Have you taken over this site with your grand wisdom? Shall we all stop in awe of every word that proceeds from the mouth of “Ellen” even when it clearly violates scripture? The sheer magnitude of comments you make in a day as if you are a walking encyclopedia comes off as extremely arrogant and makes me not want to read this site anymore.

I can’t find the particular thread, but recently you defended your cousin’s attendance/membership at a Roman Catholic church while bashing another poster about his participation.

This is so wrong and so misleading to others to say that it is ok for “your relative” to attend the RCC but not for others — as you claim to “know” who God has made certain exceptions for when they do things that violate His Holy Word.
        _______

Going to a Catholic church won’t send a person to hell, just so long as they don’t adhere to the damnable teachings of Catholicism. The false teachings of the Catholic church will definitely send a person to hell if they follow them. I’m certain that there are true believers who foolishly go to the Catholic church. It is possible for an immature believer to attend Catholic services, but it is wrong. Salvation is not dependent upon any works, only simple faith in Christ.

Let me be clear…anyone who trusts in the seven sacraments, baptism, holy Eucharist, the pope, the priest, the church, good works, confession, the Rosary, Mother Mary, or self righteousness is NOT a Christian. ONLY through exclusive 100% faith in the Lord Jesus Christ can any person be saved. No true Catholic will go to heaven because Roman Catholicism is a lie of the devil. Catholicism is of the devil.

A true Christian who attends a Catholic church is carnal, not in good fellowship with God. No true Christian can attend a Catholic church service with God’s blessing. We should not feed at the devil’s table. Your friends need to come out from among the wicked and be separate. If they are not spiritual enough to do so, then kindly show them 2nd Corinthians 6:17…

“Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you” -2nd Corinthians 6:17

Do not attend Catholic services with them…

“For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.” 2nd John 1:11

I would SERIOUSLY question the salvation of someone who claims to be a born again believer and yet attends a cult. The Holy Spirit should be doing some serious convicting according to Hebrews 12:8. Catholicism is a lie.

Yes, your friends can be saved and still attend a Catholic church, but it is a sure sign of their carnality. Like I said, I would seriously question the salvation of someone who goes to a church that prays to statues. You’d be surprised how many people “think” they are saved, but truly are not. NOTHING can save a man accept faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We are all hell-deserving sinners. Only Jesus can save us because only Jesus died upon the cross. I would try to explain to your friends that the Catholic church blasphemes against God and His Word by elevating Mary to the status of a Saviour (co redeemer). It is wicked. No Christian should be supportive of such wickedness. Don’t condemn your friends, but let them know where you stand on the matter. If your friends don’t separate from Roman Catholicism, then you are Biblically commanded to separate from them.

        –From Jesus is Savior

      2. Brother, you said, We are all hell-deserving sinners. …I am not a hell-deserving sinner..I am bought, paid for, washed in the Blood of Jesus…Remember what our Lord told Peter…”Call not what I have cleansed common”….there are some ‘Common folks true’…but those who are born again ‘are not’…if they believe they are then they need to be told ”Repent and Believe the Lord Jesus Christ and walk in His Word not the muck and mire of the world”…as for our Sister Ellen, Beloved Brother of our Lord and Savior, please increase your knee time in Intercession for our precious Blood-covered by Our Savior, Sister Ellen, for she too as I and as we all ‘repent daily for not adhering to His Word, as I am almost sure you may also, I know I spend a lot of time in prayer for you too as I pray you will for me also! (Ellen like many of us, searches the heart of The Holy Spirit as we speak to each, some are hardened some are searching…if she sees her friend as a searcher and the tender love is what this one needs, and the other one is rebelling with a stiff neck, that one needs what Jesus says…like he told Peter..”Get thee behind me Satan for thou savorest the things of Satan and not of God”..I humbly reply to your ‘findings’ on our Sister Ellen in Jesus Name †

  6. Stella, I have a couple of questions for you.

    1. When the bread you eat turns into actual human flesh, and the wine into actual blood. Does it actually taste of these things? I’m sure you have, like me tasted your own blood when licking a cut finger or having bitten your lip. Does the wine taste the same? Does the bread taste like raw meat, or has it been cooked?

    2. Have you ever questioned why your church promotes the worship of Mary and prayer to her, in violation of the Bible which declares Jesus Christ to be the only mediator between man and God?

These are very important questions for you to consider. Because when you stand before God on Judgement day, the defence of “they told me to do it” will condemn your Pope, but it won’t exonerate you from neglecting to search out the truth for yourself, instead of blindly following the blind.

      1. Well, Maybe you need to stop looking….you should be sure by now!! Also….I do apologize for my ‘error’..

  7. JM,

    You said:

“Dear Ellen, I find some of your posts to be self-righteous and hypocritical. Just because you claim to have attended a “bible college” you don’t have all the answers.”

Actually, JM, I said that I attended seminary and, if you really were following what I said, you will know that that experience was one of the more spiritually UNSATISFYING ones that I have had. I’m sorry that you think me “self-righteous and hypocritical”. If you could point to what I have said that makes you think so, it might be a learning experience for me. I certainly am not perfect in my understanding—no human is—nor am I perfect in expressing the truth that I find in the Scriptures. I have always said about myself that I am just a spiritual beggar telling other spiritual beggars where to find food—the word of God.

You said: “This contradiction makes your comments really hard to digest — the mocking, ‘know-it-all’ attitude that is unbecoming to the Lord. Have you taken over this site with your grand wisdom? Shall we all stop in awe of every word that proceeds from the mouth of “Ellen” even when it clearly violates scripture?”

Aren’t you mocking here, JM? The bitterest acid seems to drip from your words here. The unkindest cut of all seems to be that I have said something that “violates Scripture”. Please point to it so that I can avoid making the mistake in the future.

You said: “The sheer magnitude of comments you make in a day as if you are a walking encyclopedia comes off as extremely arrogant and makes me not want to read this site anymore.”

Are not my comments clearly marked so that you can avoid them? Some days I comment frequently—some days not so much as other things might prevail. I actually think that the late, great, J. Vernon McGee was correct when he voiced for all who are in Christ, “The more I know of the Bible, the more I know that I don’t know anything.”

You said: “I can’t find the particular thread, but recently you defended your cousin’s attendance/membership at a Roman Catholic church while bashing another poster about his participation.”

This is incorrect. I would that my dearly loved cousin would come out of the RCC—but I would “bash” no one for staying there. I would however warn them that they may be in danger staying there—just as I have warned my cousin (to her anger and my resulting chagrin). She has forgiven me, but she knows where I continue to stand.

You said: “This is so wrong and so misleading to others to say that it is ok for “your relative” to attend the RCC but not for others — as you claim to “know” who God has made certain exceptions for when they do things that violate His Holy Word.”

Where did I ever “claim” that? I can’t imagine what would have provoked this attack, JM—but it saddens me.

    1. Dear Ellen,

      You said:

“LOL, Denise—I always think the same thing. When I look at his face objectively, I think that he looks like any other eighty-something man. But there is something about his eyes that puts me right off. When he looks full into the camera there is a blackness there.”

What do your own eyes look like in a photograph? Are you so sure that they are sparkling with the light of the Lord? Maybe they are as darkened and dead as the pope’s eyes?

“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye” (Matt 7:3-5).

I think that a lot of us (myself included) are guilty of becoming enraged at the mockery that the Vatican has made out of true Christianity. Because of this, we tend to lose sight of what Jesus said in 1 John 4:21, ” And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother” (Matthew 7:3-5).

I am convicted when I stand before the Lord in spirit of the many times my own actions have caused someone to turn away from following Christ. When will all stand before His throne one day soon, will any of us dare to boast and brag at how we bashed others in our own arrogance and failed to be loving? Or will we be so deeply remorseful and repentant that we fall to His feet, unable to even lift our face before Him? Knowing we are nothing but filthy rags and ONLY because of His shed blood on the cross will we even be granted the privilege to stand before Him when what we deserve is nothing but His wrath, because in and of ourselves we are sinful, wicked, and vile and made up on no good thing.

I shudder when I think of all the times I have failed Him, when my own pride, arrogance, or harsh words have been a stumbling block to others. Yes, we are admonished to stand up for the cause of Christ and for truth, but so often this turns into a prideful act of self-righteousness and our words ring out as a stench to Him of self-aggrandizing.

Jesus said in the parable of the lost sheep that he would leave the flock of 99 in order to find the one that is lost and has strayed. I think we have to be careful when pointing out error to always remember that the love of God is the first and greatest commandment and with this the love of our neighbor as ourselves which needs to manifest in both word and deed.

Heavenly Father, forgive us all for our pride that rears itself in self-love and arrogance which is corrupt and a great sin. Today we choose to put off this ugliness and mortify it. Help us to deny ourselves for the good of others and to always love our brother while speaking the truth. Thank you for showing me how I have failed you in this way. May we all be worthy to stand before you one day and hear the words, “Well done good and faithful servant, enter into thy rest.”

      Even So, Come, Lord Jesus.

  8. JM,

You quoted me: ” ‘“LOL, Denise—I always think the same thing. When I look at his face objectively, I think
that he looks like any other eighty-something man. But there is something about his eyes that puts me right off. When he looks full into the camera there is a blackness there.’ ” and said: “What do your own eyes look like in a photograph? Are you so sure that they are sparkling with the light of the Lord? Maybe they are as darkened and dead as the pope’s eyes?”

My laughter expressed to Denise was in sympathetic response to her comment about herself—not toward Pope Benedict. I too have that same response to him, but I could certainly be wrong. Just as certainly, I HOPE that my eyes reflect the light of the Lord. Are you concerned to defend Pope Benedict here or are you more about attacking me? I must admit to being greatly puzzled by your scathing behavior toward me.

    1. Ellen,

While I appreciate you standing up for truth most of the time, you are not always correct and your posts come off as self-aggrandizement: an attempt to increase your own power and influence and to draw attention to your own importance.

      1. JM,

You said: “Ellen, While I appreciate you standing up for truth most of the time, you are not always correct and your posts come off as self-aggrandizement: an attempt to increase your own power and influence and to draw attention to your own importance.”

Really?? It might be educational for me if you could tell me what comments I have made that give you this impression. Again, let me reiterate that my understanding of the Scriptures certainly is not perfect, nor is my expression of the truth that I find there. I do attempt to do some teaching but that is what I feel that our Lord asks of me. I don’t even consider myself to be a gifted teacher, but our Lord delights in using those who are naturally weak, in His strength.

On the other hand, I agree with Andrea, no child of the King ever needs to fall into abject self-abasement—that, in itself, comes off as phoney humility and suggests a type of tortured pridefulness. Let me declare to you again, out of real humiliation, that I was once a most vile sinner. BUT through the gracious love of our Saviour, I am a new creature in Him. It is nothing of myself—“in my own flesh there is
        no good thing.” Amen?

  9. Ellen,

My point has nothing to do with “phony humility and tortured pridefulness.”

I gave you examples and you can research them for yourself and pray about how your words come off the page. Never for a moment should you consider yourself above falling into error, just because you are now a “new creature” in Christ.

1 Corinthians 10:12 says, “So be careful if you are thinking, ‘Oh, I’d never behave like that.’ Let this be a warning to you, for you too may fall into sin.”

Take the necessary precautions to protect yourself. Done with this discussion even though you insist on having the last word.

    1. My Brother “Who spit in your grits this mornig?” My Goodness Sweetheart, you gave some wonderful scriptures yet, you should have followed thru…Like one prophet told someone…to shoot arrows…he should have shot them all…(smile)..you would have had your answer instead of telling another of the error….You see ”that Scripture that says, ‘remove the beam from your own eye then you can remove the speck in other ones eye’….follow thru Honey..follow thru…Some day you’ll see ”that the ‘Beam is not in their eyes and they can rightly remove the speck out of the other ones eyes if they so choose to wear Son Glasses ‘smile’ for the Sun is so bright…what ever got your dander up..please I beseech you to remember that our Sister is joined to you and I by the spilled Blood of Jesus.. Sometimes I get so disgusted with what things appear to be on page and I have to step back and ask Lord Jesus Sir, is this how you would want me to say it or is it the frustration from the cares of the world we live in day to day..9 times out of 10 it’s His way..(no brag just fact)..but that one time that is not His way..you can bet your bottom dollar that this girl knows full well the path of the Woodshed…and remembers the painful truth taught there (smile) …One other thing I always have been glad to read your words…and half-way glad this time…hahaha….I had to say this because it hurts deeply to see any of our brethren at odds even in the slightest iota …as brother Paul said…thru the Spirit…Why not take the fault…also your Sister by Grace…

  10. JM,

You said: “I gave you examples and you can research them for yourself and pray about how your words come
off the page. Never for a moment should you consider yourself above falling into error, just because you are now a ‘new creature’ in Christ.”

I already admitted that I lacked perfect understanding. Since you have failed to provide specifics, I will assume that you cannot. Believe me, I pray that I will not misrepresent the Lord with my words—but know that I fail, at times. The 1 Cor. quote of yours refers to “sin” and it is no sin to be mistaken or lacking in knowledge. Even Jesus admitted to a lack of knowledge about the timing of the End.

You said: “Done with this discussion even though you insist on having the last word.”

Like you? 🙂 It might be a good idea to lighten up a bit, JM.
