The Iranian army’s ground force commander warned that attacking Iran would be suicidal, the semi-official Iranian Fars News Agency reported on Wednesday.
“Today no enemy has the requirements and the desire to carry out a military attack against the powerful Iran and military aggression against Iran is highly unlikely and even impossible and is synonymous with the suicide of the aggressor,” Brig. Gen. Ahmad Reza Pourdastan said while addressing foreign military attaches in Teheran on Tuesday.
The General boasted that Iran’s military capabilities were stronger than they have been at any point in history.
There has been much speculation that Israel or the United States plan on attacking Iran in order to stop their nuclear program, which many charge is being used to develop nuclear weapons. Iran denies these allegations.

My Comment:
The cockiness of Iranian president and those who work for him, and even some that reside there knows no bounds. They act sure of the way they can try and bully those around them, especially Israel.
But they forget or simply ignore the fact there is only one God; Jesus Christ and he will come soon with judgment, against all the nations against Israel.

The Word of the LORD as you cite it also implies Israel will be consumed with all the forces of Gog. What will the Israelis do after such a great earthquake? Israel is small.
And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

My comment:
It would be fruitless for Noah to work to prevent the flood. He was called to build the ark, and became a laughing stock. To prevent the Armageddon to take place is an impossible task. It is better to tell people to repent, submit to Jesus, who is the only One who can rescue a man from the coming onslaught. When Satan gets wild and God’s wrath strikes earth, not a single human being will be able to stand.
Jesus says he has shorten those days, for the sake of the elect. If not: No one would be able to survive.
Matthew 24:22
“If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.
I agree with these words 100%, “It is better to repent, submit to Jesus, who is the only One who can rescue a man from the coming onslaught.”
However Revelation 16 clearly says to me, Armageddon is not the Will of God, but a deception of the Devil, the 3 unclean spirits, devils and false prophet. The false prophet is deceiving Jews, Christians and Muslims.
If Armageddon is not the will of God, then Blessed are the Peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God.

It is important to understand the difference between Satan and God. Satan do want evil to take place all the time. He is the ultimate evil. But he can not go beyond what God has permitted.
– Is God than responsible for Satan’s evil?
– Absolutely not.
God limits Satan, kicking him out of Heaven. God can even permit Satan do do certain things for His own purposes. Like bring the Jews into exile, regather them, and summon all the nations into the final battle in Zion.
Just read again, the opening conversation between God and Satan in the book of Job. Satan is told what he can do, and what he is not permitted to do. He is permitted to trouble Job, but not kill him.
Man is tested by God. We are free to make Satan our king and Master. We must not fail this test, the X-factor of the creation. We are not puppets, but have been given a free will to do what is right.
Exodus 15:26
He said, “If you listen carefully to the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you.”

Here we can see that God has the ultimate power. Both to let Satan make us sick, but for the purpose of God giving us deliverance and healing. That is basically good news. It would have been endless unlimited horror’s if Satan had succeeded in his rebellion in Heaven. That is a way to explain to people what Hell is all about: Eternity without God’s presence and power, with a never ending presence of Satan an unclean spirits. Evil 24X7.
