A skeleton of a baby was being discovered encased in a wall inside the Monasterio de Santa Catalina in Arequipa in Peru.
This story is presented as a rumor of a Catholic writer on Wkipedia.
In 1871 Sister Josefa Cadena, a strict Dominican nun, was sent by Pope Pius IX to reform the monastery.
She sent the rich dowries back to Europe, and freed all the servants and slaves, giving them the choice of remaining as nuns or leaving.
In addition to the stories of outrageous wealth, there are tales of nuns becoming pregnant, and amazingly of the skeleton of a baby being discovered encased in a wall. This, in fact, did not happen in Santa Catalina, and there are rumours of the same story in the nearby Santa Rosa convent, as well.

This is only one of multiple examples of nuns being sexually exploited in Vatican approved institutions.
Many Catholics knows one of many stories like this from their own parish. But they are scared to come out in public, and tell the truth about their claimed to be “holy sisters” and their “holy fathers”.
I have a lady friend who left a cloister after being a nun for more than 10 years. I do also live inside a parish were nuns are fighting a man in court, they accuse for sexual related crimes.

Marta Steinsvik (Norwegian) comments on a similar story from France, where hundreds (or thousands?) of dead baby skeletons were found in a mass grave under en abandoned monastary.
Alberto Rivera tells about the same happening i Spain, he is more specific in counting as many as 35 000 skeletons, in a mass grave pit in a tunnell between a male and female convent in Spain.
And then of course we have the testimony of Maria Monk, who, even though some sources say has been countered and proven false, is not proven false at all. Actually new evidence has come up.
There are several other testimonies of the same as well.
Is this happening in convents today? No? Then why would anybody think it was standard practice in the old days.
This reporting is a lopsided as the charges that all priests are pedophiles. Only a fool would buy it.

This is also the main reason why I cannot cooperate together with the Roman Catholic Institution against abortion. Their reason for condemning abortion is a fake one, as they believe that all children not baptized will go into Limbo, where they will stay for eternity – or even hell.
So, they consider it better that the child will be born, baptized and then killed…
In my book that spells hypocrisy.

Abortion is wrong, regardless of what men might think about this. But like you, I do question “protestant” Christians who can work together with Roman Catholics on moral issues and politics.
These false brethren has made the Reformation null and void. They claim that the Pontiff has the right attitude in regards to abortion and “family values”, and that we need to stay united.
My reply is simply. Why not include the Buddhists and the Hindu’s, and quite a few Atheists with the right “values” on these issues? It is possible to make a working union of absolutely everything.

Hi there I’m replying to your comment you made many years ago… this is not true as I have done a Baptism course in the last two years and this was bought up it is definitely not a teaching of the catholic church of today.. as if the lord would do this to little children or babies.
Actually they got rid of Limbo a year or two ago. I should know..I left the RCC this year.

The RCC claims it was only a hypothesis and not actual defining article of the faith. In the same way they stopped the no meat on Fridays and now only during lent. Also, you used to have to fast from midnight until Mass the next day before communion. So it is with man-made “Traditions” that wind up nullifying God’s Word because it’s importance supersedes the authority of scripture.

What amazes me, is that “limbo” was not exactly a dogma of less importance. It led to emergency “baptism” of sick infants in all major Mainline Churches.
And if infants now are sure of salvation without being baptized, why “baptize” them at all?

Just making a point here; Black and white can never mix, Light and darkness can never mix, and the GOD OF CREATION does not assimilate with the god of this world. HE had distant HIMSELF even before creating man. And so HE told HIS people (I mean not just the Jews but all who love and obey HIM) “You are a holy people unto me, do not mingle with the heathen”) these heathen we now know are none other than the serpent-seedline. GOD had a strong reason for not mingling with thise evil seedline.

Yep, Ivar, it is a vital question indeed, what happens with the Catholic babies that doesn’t get baptized, when there is no Limbo to put them in? Do they go straight to purgatory (since they have original sin, that must be atoned for?) or are they just barrelled straight into hell?
Now, I have two unborn siblings (miscarriages) that are waiting for me, and my mother and brother in heaven. I believe they are playing with my father and my dog already now (about the dog: This is not mysticism, the original church taught that animals came to heaven!)

So, there’s No Limbo, no purgatory, and hell exists only for those who are headed there.

I left the roman Catholic church when I was ten or eleven, but was obliged to go to church till I left home at 17. I ‘lost’ my faith in one incident: I was praying as hard as I could for a ‘good’ outcome to a family problem, and had been praying for it for some time. Then, like a bolt from the blue, I had a great revelation: I was talking to myself in an empty room. Other revelations followed: The R. Catholic was totally corrupt: why was the pope living in a palace and covered in gems and satins and silks, and wearing a crown, and people worshipping him and kissing his hands and his rings? Jesus wore homespun cotton or linen or wool, no jewels, no palace … well, you get the picture. And it’s clear why nuns have no power. They wouldn’t put up with priests ‘nailing’ young boys who are trusted by parents into the hands of priests. Pedophilia is typically a male crime: women commit less than 10% of such crimes against little children.
