Israeli concession has only been met by new Arab Palestinian demands, making the advancement of peace impossible.
Israel’s Foreign Ministry this week increased efforts to highlight the fact that concessions and gestures to the Palestinians have consistently been met with increased intransigence, especially over the past year.
The fresh diplomatic offensive aims to outline the Palestinian Authority’s «enigmatic behavior» and point out clearly for foreign peace brokers that each Israeli concession has only been met by new Arab Palestinian demands, making the advancement of peace impossible.
«The consistent rejection by Palestinians of Israeli peace initiatives and its current refusal to negotiate leaves Israel questioning whether its neighbors are in fact committed to peace» read the Foreign Ministry statement.
Many Israelis have pointed out for years that while Israel has given much in the name of peace over the past decade, the Palestinians have failed to truly fulfill even one of their primary obligations.
When the land-for-peace process picked up speed in 1993, then-Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat admitted that it was nothing more than a new strategy to destroy Israel. Foreign powers ignored Arafat at the time, but the Palestinians’ actions have shown he spoke the truth.
The Palestinian Arabs’ unwillingness to live in peaceful coexistence with Israel is evidenced in regular polls that show widespread support for terrorist attacks against Israelis, as well as the success of the Hamas terrorist organization in municipal and national elections over the past few years.

Many Jews are brilliant and intelligent people. They use logic and reason as their guiding light in relations with the Arab World.
Thats why they do not get it…
The conflict in the Middle East has very little to do with logic and reason. There is neither any human sides of Gulf states giving money to people who are willing to educate and send Islamic Suicide bombers, nor any defense for not recognizing the state of Israels right to exist.
The battle for the soul of man is a Spiritual battle. We do not fight flesh and blood, but principalities of evil in the Spiritual realm.
Defense Minister Ehud Barack was once convinced that the conflict has a political solution, and that land concession would be the winning formula.
But that happened when He offered the Arab Palestinians even more than they had asked for?
Did He not offer them Gaza, 98 per cent of the so-called West Bank and East Jerusalem?
It triggered the second intifada. For a moment, Satan thought that Israel was on the brink of surrender, and that the Jewish state could be destroyed. He just needed to bring the Jews into the total defeat.

This was a comment full of hate. Let me remind your that Israel has offered the Arabs more than they demanded to get peace. The present Defense Minister Ehud Barak is the biggest peace activist ever in the Middle East. He offered Yasser Arafat 97 per cent of the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem. He was willing to give the Golan back under the occupation of Syria. What more do you expect Israel to give up?
