Remember Gush Katif

Nine years after the Disengagement, two thirds of former Gush Katif residents are still looking for permanent homes.

Zionist Jews removed by the IDF in 2006. The total destruction of Jewish properties in Gaza did not bring the promised peace.

Nine years after 10,000 Jews were thrown out of their homes in Gush Katif in Gaza and in northern Samaria as part of former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s Disengagement plan, barely one third of Gush Katif refugees have found new permanent homes.

A poll by the Ma’agar Mochot organization said that only 35 per cent were living in permanent homes. The rest were either renting apartments, or living in the “caravilla” trailer park villages.

Many of the homes in these trailer parks are in terrible disrepair, with residents being forced to make ad-hoc repairs of the cheaply-built trailers, which were supposed to be used for no more than a year. Infrastructure.

My comment:

The distruction of Gush Katif in Gaza was a huge blunder in the history of the Jewish people.  The IDF was used by the government in Jerusalem, to destroy Jewish property in Gaza.

In return for what was presented as a “peace plan” because the breeding ground for Islamic terrorism.

Hardly one year after Gaza became “juderein”, the territory was taken over by the Hamas.  The peacemakers in Jerusalem did not face many difficulties because of this error. But Jews living in the border area in Southern Western Israel is facing a daily bombardment of mortals and missiles from Gaza.

 Genesis 17:8
The whole land of Canaan, where you are now an alien, I will give as an everlasting possession to you and your descendants after you; and I will be their God.”

That the Jews who lived in Gaza has not received the promised replacement for their properties, is nothing but a disgrace.  If the promises given by the Israeli government can not be trusted, the moral and values of the Jewish statehood is at risk.

The movement the Israeli’s do no longer trust their leaders, the future of the whole Jewish homeland becomes at risk. People must certainly not trust politicians, more than they trust God of the Bible.

 Luke 21:23
How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people.

Behold: Jesus the Messiah said that there will come terrible times just before his second coming. Now we have reached this season. The treatment of the Jews from Gaza is just another sign, that the coming of the final antichrist followed by the return of the Messiah is imminent.

Netanyahu: In peace deal, I will not uproot a single Israeli

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says his vision of a peace deal does not include removing any Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria.

“I have no intention of removing a single community; I have no intention of uprooting a single Israeli,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Friday at a press conference in Davos, Switzerland, where he was attending the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum.

And, speaking of efforts to boycott Israel, Netanyahu said: “Economic pressure on Israel does not help move toward peace; it moves peace farther away. Those who want to advance peace must choose the opposite path — you need to be fair and balanced.”

Netanyahu also briefed reporters about his meeting with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, saying:
“The meeting was very good. … I restated the two principal issues that concern us: mutual recognition of two nation states — with one of them being recognized as the Jewish people’s nation state — and of course, security.”

My comment:

Netanyahu expressing support for Jews in Judea and Samaria will at lest maintain peace inside the Likud party.  And National religious Jews will not withdraw their support for the present government.

But many Jewish settlers are skeptical to any statement given by the present Prime Minster. They remember to well the bold statements of former Prime Minister, late Ariel Sharon.  Sharon suddenly turned hostile, and demanded a destruction of Jewish properties in Gaza.

The word “uproot” can be interpretated in many ways.  A replacement of Jews and be included in this phrase. Jews might be forced to vacate their settlements, and move into the larger settlement blocks. Many Jewish settler would have liked Netanyahu use the word “remove”. That the government of Israel will not remove settlements existing in Judea and Samaria.

So, we have to watch closely, and see what comes next.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Tuesday that Israel would teach Hamas a “lesson” and “very soon” over increased rocket fire from the Gaza Strip on Israel’s southern communities.

Speaking at a joint press conference with his visiting Canadian counterpart Stephen Harper, Netanyahu observed that Israel will always retaliate to attacks.

“We foil terrorist attacks when we identify that they are in the making, and we respond against those who attack us,” Netanyahu’s spokesperson, Ofir Gendelman, quoted him as saying.

“If Hamas and the other terror organizations have forgotten this lesson, they will learn it again the hard way – and very soon,” the prime minister said.

There has been an intensification in rocket fire from Gaza over the last weeks: On Monday, at least one rocket hit open ground in the Eshkol Regional Council in the Negev, and two more rockets struck open areas near Eilat.

My comment:

The gravest mistake in the modern history of Israel, was the disengagement from Gaza, promoted and executed by the late Ariel Sharon. May He rest in peace.

But there is no peace for the victims of his injustice done to Jewish property owners in Gaza.  The rockets are flying in over Southern Israel, as an everlasting testimony that there is no “land for peace” option available.

The land from the Sinai to the Golan Heights belong to the Jewish people. And so do the mountains of Zion, the districts of Judea and Samaria.
Lets wait and watch what kind of “lesson” the Hamas will get after the last missile attack on Southern Israel.
