God of the Bible told the Jews to banish the male shrine prostitutes. The Jews were not permitted to make any idol, in the likeness of a man nor a woman.
Men like to brand prostitution like trade in sexual favors. Buying and selling of sex. But God of the Bibles have a different view on this, and explains to us that prostitution is much more than buying and selling of unlawful sex. The Bible speaks about Spiritual prostitution. This kind of adultery towards God starts with making an image or an idol. The moment you brand such production as anything but sin, you have become a member of a prostitution racket.
The first time God told the Jews of spiritual prostitution and corrupt practices, was at the time of Moses receiving the Law at Mount Horeb.
Deuteronomy 4:15-16
«You saw no form of any kind the day the LORD spoke to you at Horeb out of the fire. Therefore watch yourselves very carefully, so that you do not become corrupt and make for yourselves an idol, an image of any shape, whether formed like a man or a woman».
Since Moses was a man of God, our Father in Heaven could have given the Jews the right to make an image of Moses. But He did not. The Jews were not allowed to make any image of godly men nor godly women, not even their forefather Abraham. God the Father said very plainly that anyone who permitted such idols to be made, would become corrupt in His eyes. Whatever man might put up as a defenses for such adoration of veneration of created things, in the form of stone and wood.
But there were men who disobeyed this, even priests. God gave such priests into the hands of Satan. He branded them «male shrine prostitutes».
1 Kings 14:24
«There were even male shrine prostitutes in the land; the people engaged in all the detestable practices of the nations the LORD had driven out before the Israelites».
It is worth paying attention to what kind of «detestable practices» the Bible speaks about:
1 Kings 15:12
«He expelled the male shrine prostitutes from the land and got rid of all the idols his fathers had made».
For God, it did not matter if these male shrine prostitutes idols had made images and idols of «holy men» like Abraham or Moses. God wanted us to worship, adore and venerate Him only, in Spirit and in truth.

The prophet Hosea tells us that many people shall come up with many human made explanations, where they justify their own actions, and choses to call God a liar.
Hosea 5:4
«Their deeds do not permit them to return to their God. A spirit of prostitution is in their heart; they do not acknowledge the LORD»
Finally the Jewish Apostles Paul explains to us the punishment that will be inflicted on people who justify their action, and defend religious systems governed by male prostitutes.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10
«Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God».
So please do not make idols. And do not participate in these kind of evil deeds of spiritual darkness.

Thanks for this clarification. Male shrine prostitutes are obviously gay priests. If priests had sex with women, outside of marriage, the Bible would have explained this to be adultery or fornication.
Since the RCC priesthood are banned from marriage, and thousands of these men are gay, 1 Kings 22:47 can easily be used for the wicked Vatican priesthood.

In the KJV translation, the term sodomites is used in 1 Kings 22:46 not in verse 47..
I have an actual 1607 Geneva bible. 1 kings 22:46-47 “And the Sodomites, which remained in the days of his father Afa, he put clean out of the land. 47. There was then no king in Edom; The deputie was King.”
deputie is clarified; In the time of this king, Idumea was subject to Judah, and was governed by whom they of Judah appointed.

By what you have call “the devil’s pervert bibles” i assume you think the KJV is the only Word of God. Too bad it is a translation of a translation: Greek and Hebrew first to Latin then finally to English by way of the evil king James.
Best example is when KJV says “Do not kill”. This is obviously false. I can kill a snake or a bug or a human if he attackes me. This is killing and not murder. Other translations rightly use the word murder. Murder is hate in the heart and then continues on to the physical taking of a life in selfishness. God warned Cain that his heart was wrong and that would lead to sin. So Cain ignored God and allowed the anger to grow until he murdered his brother.
As far as some translations using the phrase “male shrine prostitutes” instead of the one word “sodomite” it is normal as we further understand the meaning of words and phrases in other languages to change and adapt and use different words in English to more accurately protray the meaning. This is where the KJV fails, using literal word translation instead of full undersatnding of the context of the word, phrase, or even a whole paragrah or chapter then translating the actual meaning.
Calling a person a “male shrine prostitute” versus a “sodomite” does not mean the translator is ok with sodomy. You wrongly assume this. Using more words in a phrase versus one word is a good thing, clarifying the meaning of the original text.
