John Kerry landed in Geneva late on Sunday for up to three days of talks with Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on a deal to restrain the Iranian nuclear program in exchange for easing sanctions on Tehran. The talks will be held in Montreux.
By traveling to Switzerland, Saudi Arabia and Britain this week, US Secretary of State John Kerry will avoid being in Washington at the same time as Netanyahu.
While Kerry meets Iranian Foreign Minister. President Obama spend time telling media why he has to rebuke Benjamin Netanyahu.
Obama confirms there is a “substantial disagreement” between his administration and the Israeli government over how to achieve their shared goal of preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
“If, in fact, Iran is willing to agree to double-digit years of keeping their program where it is right now and, in fact, rolling back elements of it that currently exist … if we’ve got that, and we’ve got a way of verifying that, there’s no other steps we can take that would give us such assurance that they don’t have a nuclear weapon,” Obama said.
The US goal is to make sure “there’s at least a year between us seeing them try to get a nuclear weapon and them actually being able to obtain one,” he added.
Israel fears that Obama’s Iran diplomacy, with an end-of-March deadline for a framework nuclear agreement, will still allow its arch-foe to develop an atom bomb. Tehran denies it is seeking nuclear weapons.

Do not believe Obama based on what he is saying. But rather see what his administration is doing.
Vice President Joe Biden accepted an invitation to visit Guatemala and Uruguay, on the same day Benjamin Netanyahu is presenting Jerusalem’s objection to a nuclear deal with Iran. Unfortunately for the Roman Catholic vice-president, he has fallen ill and has to say home.
John Kenny accepted an invitation to meet the Foreign Minister of Iran in Geneva. The Roman Catholic secretary of state, found it more important to entertain this representative for the totalitarian Islamic republic of Iran, than to listen to a leader of the free world, and a supposed to be allied of the USA.
When Obama claims he has secured a deal to “freeze” the nuclear weapons program of Iran, such a claim is based on taking the Iranian leaders are witnesses of the truth. That is to accept that the Ayatollah regime is an reasonable and acceptable partner for “peace”. All Shia Muslims will agree with Obama. Together with all secular socialist in the West, who accept the presentation of Islam as the “religion of peace”.

Ketchup Kerry is a traitor, how sad. Just watched Bibi do his one spech. cried thru the whole thing. what a precious man. the place was packed, wish I could have been there. may G-d keep His Hand on Israel and that people wake up , it is all but too late to change their minds that standing with Israel enemies is against G-d Almighty. Please rethink. It can never be “My way or the high way”. Israel must remain a democracy, and a majority in the Knesset will form the next government.
Israel has survived a lot of Likud goverments. Also the rule of Ariel Sharon, a supposed to be a right winger. He enforced a removal of all Jews from Gaza.
