Jesuit general rejects that Satan exist

‘The devil exists as a symbolic reality, not as a personal reality,’ Fr Arturo Sosa claimed.

POPE ITALIAN JESUIT MAGAZINE
Both the Pope and Arturo Sosa have served as leaders of the Jesuit Order. The most dangerous decivers of mankind.

The superior general of the Society of Jesus has said that the devil is a symbol, but not a person.

The devil, “exists as the personification of evil in different structures, but not in persons, because is not a person, is a way of acting evil. He is not a person like a human person. It is a way of evil to be present in human life,” Fr Arturo Sosa, SJ, said Wednesday in an interview with Italian magazine Tempi.

“Good and evil are in a permanent war in the human conscience and we have ways to point them out. We recognize God as good, fully good. Symbols are part of reality, and the devil exists as a symbolic reality, not as a personal reality,” he added.

Sosa’s remarks came after he participated in a panel discussion at a Catholic gathering in Rimini, Italy, organized by the Communion and Liberation ecclesial movement.

My comment:

The present Pope is a member of the Jesuit order of the Roman Catholic Church.  The Superior General of the Jesuit  order is also called the black pope.  For the first time in history this order control both these seat of the papacy.

To reject that the person of Satan exist is an outright rejection of the authority ofthe bible.  The consequence of such a rejection is terrible. Because if Satan do not exist, there is no God of the bible. You can not cherry pick from verses in the Word of God. If the Messiah has told us lies about Satan, than the saviour of the World him self is a fiction. And the Christian faith is a hoax. Simply a fairy tale put together by some Jews.

Satan is mentioned 47 times in the New International version of the Bible. 54 in the New King James translation. Here are some of them:

Job 1:7

And the Lord said to Satan, “From where do you come?” So Satan answered the Lord and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.”

Zechariah 3:2

And the Lord said to Satan, “The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?”

Luke 10:18

And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.

1 Peter 5:8

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

Behold: Do not listen to these men of Satan, the broad of wipers based in the Vatican. The Roman Catholic priesthood serve Lucifer. They are blind men, who lead both you and others into the pit.  Read and believe the Word of God, and have Jesus the Messiah as the authority in your life. Amen.

  1. Hi Ivar,
You are writing well, I mentioned you sometimes on our website torayeshua.nl
Roman Catholics will see satan as symbolic, next step is to believe that JHWH, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is symbolic for the good power , same foor Yeshua of course.
The already have this dogma, that the quranallah is the same as JHWH, so what can you expect of those criminals?
    Shalom

    1. Dear Benkok.

Shalom and love in Jesus. Thanks for this comment. If you do a deep study of the doctrines of the RCC, you will see that the pope is our only hope. He is the replacement of Jesus on Earth, the Vicar of Christ. Many times, i have heard Catholics say “Jesus is not comming back”. In the sense, this Jew is dead. Its just terrible.

  2. They do just as Anton Lavey did–teaching others that Satan is not a single entity but rather a greater personification. Remember that the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he did not exist.

  3. If the Devil does not exist, then the Jesuit General who said this does not exist. and God will say to him, unless he repents, Depart from Me you worker of iniquity; I never knew you.

You offered one source for someone who denies the reality of Satan. I offer a source that upholds the teaching that Satan is real:

Look up from Catholic News Agency the article “ Exorcists to Jesuit head: Satan is real”. There are Catholic priests – & Christian pastors who know only too well the reality of Satan as a person. One wayward priest teaching falsehood does not automatically lead to the Teachings of the Catholic Church as deceived. Even the Scriptures teach that false prophets would rise from within the Church itself.

I would also like to point out that the article you’d provided also notes that the Official Teaching of the Catholic Church is that Satan is a real person. So that should inform readers that the priest do which you were making an example speaks outside of Church Teaching.

You stated: “ To reject that the person of Satan exist is an outright rejection of the authority of the bible.“

To your comment, I must ask: which came first – the Church or the Christian Bible with its completed canons of both the OT & the NT? If the Bible were the sole authority of the Early Christians, how did they do this considering that the last of the NT books wasn’t written until somewhere between 90-110 AD? What then did the Early Church use as its sole authority – assuming that the Scriptures alone are that authority – when as yet no Christian Bible has even been settled? Adding more to this question, considering that even among Jews the OT canon hadn’t yet been settled, how did the Early Christians even know which OT books were canonical since various Jewish sects (like the Pharisees, the Sadducees, the Essenes, etc.) differed in their acceptance of which books were inspired…?

    Thoughts?

I would also ask: where within the Bible does one find that the Bible is the sole authority for Christians? And please do not quote 2 Timothy 3:

16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,

17 so that the servant of God a may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

The author of 2 Timothy stated “All Scripture” – He didn’t say “Only Scripture”. If you can provide Scripture stating otherwise, please do show us.

You’d also stated: “ To reject that the person of Satan exist is an outright rejection of the authority ofthe bible. The consequence of such a rejection is terrible. Because if Satan do not exist, there is no God of the bible. You can not cherry pick from verses in the Word of God.“

I don’t believe that it necessarily follows logically that if Satan didn’t exist that that automatically leads to the conclusion that God does not exist. I would argue that it means that Satan would not exist – except for the fact that God says that he is in fact real.

I’m not seeing any evidence of “cherry-picking”. This claim is unsubstantiated.
