NATO fighter jets confronted a plane carrying Russia’s defense minister in neutral airspace over the Baltic Sea on Wednesday morning before being chased away by a Russian warplane.
NATO confirmed the face-off, but denied acting aggressively or knowing that the defense minister was on board.
The confrontation was the latest of many over the Baltics, a heavily militarized area where Russian and NATO jets regularly jostle. The high-altitude encounter raised new fears about the possibility of an aerial conflict — whether intentional or accidental — during a time of particularly high tensions between Moscow and the West.
On Sunday, the American military shot down a Syrian warplane, the first time it had done so since Syria’s civil war began in 2011. The next day, Moscow issued a stark warning, threatening to target aircraft flown by the United States and its allies west of the Euphrates River, and suspending use of a hotline that the American and Russian militaries have used to avoid collisions in Syrian airspace. Also on Monday, a Russian jet flew within several feet of an American reconnaissance plane over the Baltics.
The Russian defense minister, Sergei K. Shoigu, was flying to the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad when the face-off with the NATO jet occurred, Russian news media reported.

My comment:
I am not a supporter of Putin. He is a classical KGB-officer, with blood on his hands. An enemy of basic human rights.
But I have no regards for the present leadership of NATO. The military defense alliance was created for the protection of the democratic states on both sides of the North Atlantic Ocean. Today, NATO is a supporter of radical Islam, and the most serious treat to World peace. In Syria, NATO supply and support people screaming “allah U Akbar”. In Libya, NATO paved the way for the Islamic state and al-Quaida.
Few people are aware of the background of the present Secretary General of NATO. In my youth, I knew him personally. Mr Jens Stoltenberg was the leader of the Social Democratic youth of Norway, the “AUF.”. As Prime Minister of Norway he was not willing to protect the Governmental complex in Oslo, despite several warnings from both the Norwegian police and the public. It was possible to drive a lorry up to the PM’s office, and blow it to pieces. The complex was eventually bombed and destroyed.
Stoltenberg has no military experience beyond being a private for less than a year, less any counter-terrorism competence. His leadership can only bring disasters upon NATO and the World. The present NATO-aggression is a fruit of lack of proper political leadership of the alliance.

Jesus of the Bible has warned us of the present decay, and downfall of proper check and balances in World politics. With the non existence of proper leadership in the Western world, its only a matter of time before chaos will erupt on a global scale. And out of panic and chaos, will emerge the One World Religion and the rule of the final antichrist. Than the end of the age will come, with the sudden return of the Messiah.
