For all apostate evangelicals, Trump is the new hope for America. For all who still believe in the Bible, Trump seems to be the ultimate fulfillment of prophecies. The very downfall of the civilized man, just before the return of the Messiah.
All who love Jesus, can not be, and are not lovers of the World. We cry out for His second coming. Those who love the World, are enemies of God of the Bible. They don’t mind the language used by Trump. In this way they support the movement that will eventually hail the coming rule of the antichrists.

There is still hope. Since 60-65 per cent of the Republicans do not rally behind a Trump ticket. Many of them will not vote for Trump, if forced, but rather for Hillary Clinton.
True evangelicals would rather have neither Trump or Hillary, as I’m sure you would agree. What real choice have voters been given? None! The lesser of two evils is still evil. What a dilemma for America.
Simply put, it looks like judgment is coming upon the United States, to have reached such a debased state of affairs! It is strange, when claimed to be Evangelicals believe the second comming of Jesus is fare, fare away into a distant future. Bible reading Christians, should not fail to see the writings on the wall. The signs of our times, points towards the end of the age. We are very, very close to the end game between the antichrists and Jesus the Messiah.
Who the last and final antichrist is, or will be, can still be debated.

There are those in the world who love Mr Trump. My limited understanding is, the candidates drop out as the more popular candidates gain a greater share of the votes.
Mr Trump believes he has identified the cause of the nations problems and has presented solutions which appear to appeal to a lot of voters.
The system demands that candidates have to have either personal wealth or access to funds that will cover the expenses of their campaign, as the candidates present themselves, their support wanes as they reveal how they would address serious issues.
Mr Trump has personal wealth which means he is not having to answer to sponsors.
Ephesians 6 verse 12 is apt in this discussion.
Mr Trump is flesh and blood, he is just a man who sees his country going in a direction he doesn’t like. He has the personal wealth to fund a race to the Whitehouse and he believes if he succeeds he can address these problems and make his country great once more.
The verse reveals that other forces are at work, Mr Trump has no authority over those forces, in fact he is a target of those forces and no amount of money can stop him being used by those forces to do what they want him to do.
It doesn’t matter who gets into office, because they are of this world, in this world and love this world, they are all potentially at risk of falling under the influences of those forces.
Being concerned that we might be unable to sleep because a certain individual resides in the Whitehouse reveals more about the author than the successful candidate.

There are some key words in the Psalm you draw our attention to.
Verse 1 A man is blessed if he seeks godly counsel and not the counsel of the ungodly.
Study Gods Word to learn the characteristics a godly person should have, ask God to instill them in you.
Verse 2. Reveals, a godly man delights in the law of the LORD, He is dedicated to meditating on it daily.
You then must meditate on Gods law and learn to live in it with joy.
Verse 3. As a tree in the natural world living next to water, has plump leaves. You, living close to Living Water will become spiritually healthy and spiritually prosperous.
Verse 4. Though ungodly people may at first appear to be full of knowledge, over time they will dry up and be blown away. If you meditate on the Word and learn to be a doer, you will not be one of these.
Verse 5 Perseverence will give you the confidence that you will be among the congregation of the righteous.
Verse 6. If we become doers of the Word, we have hope in the Lord that He will consider us Righteous for our belief in Him, just as He considered Abraham righteous because he believed.
22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
There are those who hear but do not do, and there are those who think they are doers, but do not do what the Bible teaches.
Each of us has to work it out, each of us has to meditate on the Word and, when we find an instruction to do, we must do it.
Thou shall not steal, don’t steal, thou shall not kill, don’t kill.
Depending on where the Lord leads you in the study of His Word, you will find instruction, follow the instructions, become a doer and avoid deceiving yourself.

The One Jesus called Father can see into the heart of man.

The Ethiopean sat in the chariot reading Isaiah.
Acts 8 verse 21 onward.
The Holy Spirit stirred Philip to go. He found the Ethiopean reading, the Ethiopean did not know of whom he was reading. Philip explained, the Ethiopean believed and was Baptised.
All of this took place in one go, no mentoring over time to prepare for Baptism and once Baptised Philip left the Ethiopean to continue on his merry way.
The Ethiopean had no-one to fellowship with nor had ongoing counselling from an Apostle.

You miss the whole point. Philip was explaining the book of Isaish to the enuk. Litterally leading him to Jesus. The Bible is silent on what took place from the enuk belived, till he was baptized.. But surley, he did not baptize him self. Based on his expressed new faith in Jesus the Messiah, he was baptized. He was lead to “Christ”.
Philip was lead by the Holy Spirit:

The Eunuch was reading Isaiah which today forms part of the Canon, Gods Word. God watches over His Word and sees into the hearts of men.
God knew what the Eunuch desired and sent Philip to explain, the Eunuch was being drawn by God long before Philip arrived. Philip was a witness to the truth and the Eunuch believed.
You believe Philip led the Eunuch to Christ, I believe what the scripture teaches.
God was drawing the Eunuch, the Eunuch needed a witness and God sent Philip to him.
If you believe you can lead a person to Christ, then the Christ you are leading people to, might not be Christ the Son of the Living God, but a counterfeit.
Because Christ said, no man can come to me unless the Father who sent me, draws him.

Just as the Lord Jesus Christ taught in the parable of the sowere, we can speak the truth.
Sometimes it will fall on deaf ears, sometimes it will be received readily at first but not take root.
We are not necessarily to know where the Word will take root, grow to maturity and bear good fruit.

I sometimes ask people to explain me the gospel. That should be done as a routine towards strangers who claim to be Christians, a way to see if the person is saved or not. People who can not exmpain what salvation is, or how to be saved, are not saved. Edward, Your accusation against Bruce proves his point. You need to humble your self, read the Bible and attend a local fellowship of Christians.

If we spend our time edifying and exhorting then we leave out part of the purpose.
It can be equally important to correct, in order to become complete and equipped.

I was in a situation when I was 8 years old, told that I was destined for hell if I didn’t accept Christ as my personal saviour.
Not one of the Apostles said this when they preached the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, the gospel that Jesus sent them out into the world to preach.
They simply preached what they were told to, and those who heard believed and were baptised.
If believing that Jesus is the same, yesterday, today and forever and that what He says is true, makes me religious so be it.

I do warn people when they do not follow the spirit of a fair debate, and eventually spam them. Most of those who have been spamed are false Christians. After my grace has reached the limit, they are told to pack up and leave.

hello Allistair. the essence of Gospel is the good news. what good news? why would the martyrs of 1 st century lay the life down if not for the saving of sinners from hell. Jehovah witnesses don’ t believe in hell, neither do you as you steer clear of the word ” hell”. It must be offensive to remember those days in church when the conviction of the Holy Spirit pleaded with you to be saved. It must be well for you to steer directly into mainstream inclusivity, content that religious application alone is sufficient and somehow the unconverted will meander through life into the most narrow of spaces spiritually.

It is indeed Good News that Jesus was born of Mary as the Prophets foretold, is the Christ the Son of the Living God. He went like a lamb to the slaughter, His blood shed for the sins of the world, not just mine, Ivars yours and those who contribute to this blog, but the world.
But the Gospel Jesus Christ preached was the Gospel of the Kingdom of God
Matthew 4
23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.

There is no evidence of the hearers of this Gospel being threated with hell if they did not believe.
The Bible reveals that those who believed this Gospel were baptised and in some cases tells us how many believed.
The Bible teaches that this Gospel will continue to be preached up to the end.
Matthew 24
14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
We live in the last days, the hour is late.
There are those who preach a gospel “about” Christ, and there are a few who preach the Gosple that Jesus Christ preached.
Having heard the good news of the Kingdom of God the words of the Lords prayer take on new meaning.
Thy Kingdom come.
Jesus will return to establish that Kingdom, that is the Good News that Jesus Christ preached.
Though those who heard Him preach it are now at rest, they wait the resurrection to eternal life in the Kingdom of God.
