Jesuit Pope Francis: “May the religions be wombs of life, bearing the merciful love of God…”
This is recorded by the Vatican Radio: Pope Francis on Thursday urged representatives of different religions to foster a peaceful encounter of believers and genuine religious freedom.
Speaking to some 200 people gathered in the Vatican for an interreligious audience, Pope Francis reflected on the soon- to-end Year of Mercy saying that mercy extends also to the world around us, “to our common home, which we are called to protect and preserve from unbridled and rapacious consumption”.
He told those present that common commitment is needed “for an education to sobriety and to respect, to a more simple and orderly way of life”. Above all, the Pope urged all religions to join in embarking on a path of dialogue, rejecting the aimless paths of disagreement and closed-mindedness.
He appealed to never let it happen again that religions, because of the conduct of some of their followers, convey a distorted message that is out of tune with that of mercy.
“Sadly, not a day passes that we do not hear of acts of violence, conflict, kidnapping, terrorist attacks, killings and destruction. It is horrible that at times, to justify such barbarism, the name of a religion or the name of God himself is invoked. May there be clear condemnation of these iniquitous attitudes that profane the name of God and sully the religious quest of mankind” he said.
Pope Francis concluded his message calling for the peaceful encounter of believers and genuine religious freedom: “Here, our responsibility before God, humanity and the future is great; it calls for unremitting effort, without dissimulation. It is a call that challenges us, a path to be taken together, for the good of all, and with hope”.

Dear Friends,
I offer you a warm welcome. I am pleased to meet you and I thank you for accepting this invitation to reflect together on the theme of mercy.
As you are well aware, we are approaching the end of the Holy Year, in which the Catholic Church has pondered the heart of the Christian message from the viewpoint of mercy. For us, mercy reveals the name of God; it is “the very foundation of the Church’s life” (Misericordiae Vultus, 10). It is also the key to understanding the mystery of man, of that humanity which, today too, is in great need of forgiveness and peace.
Yet the mystery of mercy is not to be celebrated in words alone, but above all by deeds, by a truly merciful way of life marked by disinterested love, fraternal service and sincere sharing. The Church increasingly desires to adopt this way of life, also as part of her “duty to foster unity and charity” among all men and women (Nostra Aetate, 1). The religions are likewise called to this way of life, in order to be, particularly in our own day, messengers of peace and builders of communion, and to proclaim, in opposition to all those who sow conflict, division and intolerance, that ours is a time of fraternity.
That is why it is important for us to seek occasions of encounter, an encounter which, while avoiding a superficial syncretism, “makes us more open to dialogue, the better to know and understand one another; eliminates every form of closed-mindedness and disrespect; and drives out every form of violence and discrimination” (Misericordiae Vultus, 23).
May this be the path we take. May we reject the aimless paths of disagreement and closed-mindedness. May it never happen again that the religions, because of the conduct of some of their followers, convey a distorted message, out of tune with that of mercy. Sadly, not a day passes that we do not hear of acts of violence, conflict, kidnapping, terrorist attacks, killings and destruction. It is horrible that at times, to justify such barbarism, the name of a religion or the name of God himself is invoked. May there be clear condemnation of these iniquitous attitudes that profane the name of God and sully the religious quest of mankind.
May there instead be fostered everywhere the peaceful encounter of believers and genuine religious freedom. Here, our responsibility before God, humanity and the future is great; it calls for unremitting effort, without dissimulation. It is a call that challenges us, a path to be taken together, for the good of all, and with hope. May the religions be wombs of life, bearing the merciful love of God to a wounded and needy humanity; may they be doors of hope helping to penetrate the walls erected by pride and fear.

The Jesuit Pope desire to become the “holy father” for all religions. The 3rd of November interfaith gathering in the Vatican is yet another example.
To claim “mercy” to be the name of “God”, is not a biblical concept. To the radical opposite, God is a judge that will eventually send billions of people to Hell. Peace with God, is required to achieve mercy from the Creator God. You can not achieve such peace through religions. You can only find mercy with God, through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus the Messiah. Only by Him, shedding his blood for the forgiveness of sins, a man can be be saved from God’s wrath. God sacrificed His One and Only Son, as the only remedy for a mans salvation. If you reject Him as Lord and God, you will perish.
Be aware of false prophets. Like the Arab Muhammed, who has misquided 1,3 billion people through the Koran.
In Islam, “god” is the “all merciful one”. This is the adulterous image of God, presented by the Pope. In stead of proclaiming the gospel, the pope deceives all who listen to him. Leading them all down the broad path that leads to destruction. He is a false god-man, an antichrist in the flesh. Who usurp authority over claimed to be Christians, the very Vicarious Christi, the Vicar of Christ, the replacement of the Messiah on Earth.
If you want to escape the fire of Hell, renounce all the religious evils of the Pope. Rather embrace the gospel. Open the Bible, and believe what you read. May Jesus the Messiah have mercy on your soul.

I don’t see the Pope with the same biased eye you have toward him. I do agree with his statement that inside every Christian lives a Jew.
Surely you are familiar with the various Temple movements in Israel subsidized by the government. You know they want to build a 3rd Temple and bring back animal sacrifice for the Atonement of Sin. What do you think about that?

I do not believe in the Third Temple Movement. Neither do 95 per cent of the people of Zion, citizens of the state of Israel. Nor any true believer in the Messiah. I belive in the anotning blood of Jesus. Not the blood of bulls, rams nor goats.
Religious people believe in the claimed authority of the Pope. That is a trap. That should be the topic of debate, the core point in my article.
ray032, We must believe the Bible, and not what men say. The Bible says there will be a temple. The Bible also says the Jews are gathered in unbelief. If there is no temple how will antichrist defile it? Matthew 24:15, Romans 11.

There is a Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Today, the Dome of the Rock is the perfect arena for the antichrist. He just has to set up his throne there. The Bible explaims that God has got a new temple. The heart of all who who believe in the Son of God. God do no longer live in buildings build by human hands.

Ivar, how can antichrist be in Born again Christians? How can antichrist make the abomination in Christians? God would not call the Dome of the Rock a “Holy Place”. The Jews will not offer sacrifices there. Something has to happen to make way for the literal temple. It is true the true temple is in believer’s but no one believes it except for God’s born again ones. The Jews have not accepted Messiah yet, they think they need the temple. I do not know if you have walked the Temple Tunnel along the Temple Mount? Down there, there is a zealed door. Outside there are religious Jews constantly in prayer. On the other side of this door, is where these Orthodox Jews claim the correct place for the “Holiest of holies”, the place where God reigned. And where God shall return.
Above this place, is the Dome of the Rock. Which is not a mosque, but a religious shrine. Set up, above “the Holiest of Holies. An abomination to God of the Bible, standing on Mount Moria, Zion, the epic center of What God of the Bible claiming to be his resting place forever.
Dear Ivar, the Dome was apparently hit by 2 earthquakes, in 808 and in 846. There were earthquakes that destroyed open arcades at the dome and damaged the dome. The dome collapsed in an earthquake in 1016 and was rebuilt in 1021. In 1927 the dome needed repair again by because of an earthquake. Possibly in the future the dome will be destroyed again making way for a temple. The one world religion is already in the works, the Bible says all people will worship the beast. It will not be in the Dome, the Jews will not worship in there, as the Arabic Islamic inscriptions say on the Dome in part “The Messiah was only a messenger of god so believe in god and his messengers, and say not three -Cease! (it is) god in only one god. Far be it removed from his transcendent majesty that he should have a son.” (wiki, and other sources) That is a type of abomination of desolation already. But the Jews will sacrifice there to the antichrist and he will set himself as god in the temple as Scripture says. Ezekiel says, “Then he brought me back the way of the gate of the outward sanctuary which looketh toward the east; and it was shut. Then said the LORD unto me; This gate shall be shut, it shall not be opened, and no man shall enter in by it; because the LORD, the God of Israel, hath entered in by it, therefore it shall be shut. It is for the prince; the prince, he shall sit in it to eat bread before the LORD; he shall enter by the way of the porch of the gate, and shall go out by the way of the same.” Ez. 44:1-4. The east gate of the outer court must be permanently shut because once the LORD returns to the temple, He will never leave. Only the prince could sit in the vestibule of the gate and eat the sacrificial meal there. Some think that the prince is the Messiah Himself, others that he is a descendant of David who will serve as a vice-regent under Christ, the King. However, F.W. Grant points out that he cannot be the Messiah because he has sons (Ez. 46:16), and he offers a sin offering for himself (Ez. 45:22). (Believer’s Bible commentary William MacDonald) For a second witness I have a quote from J. Vernon McGee and he says of Ez. 44:1-4, “My point is the prince mentioned here who is coming is not the LORD Jesus Christ. Ezekiel tells us that this prince offers a sacrifice and worships God (chs. 45-60) therefore he cannot be the Lord Jesus. The Lord Jesus is God, and He never has and never will offer a sacrifice” Blessings

The Lord Jesus did not create a mongrel church. That is what the Pope is attempting to create, but it will not stand.

The difference between a man like John the Baptist and the Pope, is like night and day. The Pope do not share the gospel. To the radical oposite he preach religion. He acknoweldge all of them, truly an anti-Christ in the flesh. A better prof than this is difficult to get. The Pope do not represent Jesus of the Bible. The Pope do not talk about men being lost in their sins. No need for the blood of the Son of God to cleanse a man from sin. The Pope do not call people to repent and be baptized.

The Pope is ellected by the Cardinals. Most Popes stay on their post, till they fall dead. Pope Benedict resigned. We can only speculate what kind of presure he faced among his own.

As you know, Ivar, God is ONE. We are MANY, so it is possible to see the same thing from a different perspective in our personal relationships with God through Christ. What some believers have to overcome, is making those differences personal. Even with those differences, we are commanded to resolve them in the Love of Christ, as in Christ loved US while we were already dead in OUR sins.

It has stood for the last 1700 years, and this Pope is trying, as an Individual, to lead the people in the Ways of Christ as far as I can see.
God’s Word says there will be no place for idolators. He -the pope-and his followers are idolators 😦 Be careful as even God’s elect will be deceived.
Especially for those who worship the gods of gold, and of silver, of brass, of iron, of wood, and of stone.
Only God knows the secret thoughts of the Pope’s heart and you are in no position to judge.

As you see: If people do not have the Word of God as the highest authority in all matters of the Christian faith, all kinds of authorties will be thrown at you. In 1985 I was extended the rare invitation to lunch with the Apostolic Nuncio to CanaDa, Archbishop Angelo Palmas, the Charge D’Affaires, and Secretary. The Pope’s Ambassador did not like me very much for the Truth of Christ I spoke, but it was excellent food in an amazing atmosphere.
He answered the phone himself at certain hours of the Day, and we spoke on several occasions. One TIME, I don’t remember exactly how it came up, but at a certain point in the conversation, he said, “by prayer and Sacrifice.” I replied, “I will have Mercy and not sacrifice, says The Lord.” Again he said, “By prayer and sacrifice.” I came back with the same response. This went back and forth a few times. The situation was almost surreal.
‘But go ye and learn what that means, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.’

With that in mind, I was most probably pleased more than anyone when the Pope announced this year to be the Year of Mercy, although the world does not show it and appears to be going in the opposite direction.

A simple search in an online Bible will reveal the truth. The word “Mercy” appears 275 times in the New King James translation. The word “Jugdment” appears 366 times. To claim “Mercy” to be the name of God, is a lie. If you delete the fact that God is a judge. Jesus have told mankind to fear God the almighty, because He can cast both your body and soul into Hell.
A hell bound religious movement, will deny this. That mercy can not be found outside of faith in Jesus the Messiah. If you reject Him as Lord and God, you will find God to be very holy and mercyless. You will be thrown into the everlasting fire.

Yes, mercy is mentioned 275 times. And mercy is found in the Bible, to be conditional. If your rebell against God of the Bible, you will face God as your enemy. Not at all mercyful. I can give you multiple examples. also from the New Testament. The best one, if the death of Ananinas and Saphira.
If you add mercies and merciful, it adds up to 353 times, a difference of 13, my trademark number, from Judgment mentioned 366 times.
Generally, we are in agreement on these Judgments;
You hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
This people draws close to me with their mouth, and honours me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

You are totally wrong. I am simply done with you. You do not believe that the Word of God is the highest authority in all matters of the Christian faith. When you are posting all the verses in the Bible where “mercy” is mentioned, you will keep me bussy. I do not have time for this. To underline, again, and again, that “mecry” from God is conditional. 2. Confessional booths.
3. Relics of Saints under the altar.

Going by the True Word of God. They is only ONE FAITH, not many. This is clearly declared in JUDE.
More importantly, when the term “faith” is used in it`s truest sense, it is not focusing upon the faith of an individual, it is focusing upon the object of the faith and the object of true faith is the Lord Jesus Christ alone.
“Faith” is not some vague wish by which someone hopes some event or other will or will not come to pass.
If you do not have the Lord Jesus Christ alone as the object of your faith, then you do not have a faith, all you have is a false religion.

Thanks for this comment. The Roman Caholic religion has many objects of faith. Just take a look at the arsenal of “holy” saints and madonnas. The RCC is truly babylonian. As a religion, Catholicim is more like Hinduism. You can pick and chose what kind of “holy carracter” you want to have a relationship with. Pray to, bow before, adore and worship.
