The corpse of a man who died in 1734, is taken for a public parade of the men of Ischia just off Napoli in Italy.
John Joseph of the Cross, born Carlo Gaetano Calosirto (Ischia, August 15, 1654 – Naples, March 5, 1734), was a brother of the Order of Friars Minor. The May 26, 1839 was proclaimed a saint by Pope Gregory XVI the liturgical commemoration on March 5; sponsored the first Sunday in September.
The saint is the patron and protector of the island of Ischia. The first Sunday of September are organized public celebrations of the last four days in the streets of the ancient village of Ischia Ponte; the saint’s relics are carried in procession through the streets of the city and the sea, through a procession formed by fishing boats.
On 5 March we celebrate the religious festival, with novena and procession, also in the village Totari of Anderson; Tuesday after Easter, the other felt festival dedicated to the saint takes place at the shrine of Santa Maria Occorrevole (on the heights of Glossop in the diocese of Alife), with traditional pilgrimage on foot through an ancient stone path and picnics in the fields of ‘old Franciscan convent.
He was beatified in 1789, and canonized in 1839 by Pope Gregory XVI. At the Aragonese Castle (Il Castello Aragonese) on Ischia, there is a small chapel consecrated to Saint John Joseph of the Cross.

One of the most appalling practice of the Roman Catholic Church, is their worship of the dead. Prayer and incense is offered for the remains of moral men, and their corpses are even paraded through the street of Catholic settlements.
Since claimed to be “Christian” media to not cover and comment on such events, we have be be thankful to Roman Catyholic bloggers for providing us photos. Even though they do not understand what kind of devilish activity they are promoting.

By doing their religious exercises in the name of “Christ”, they defame the Messiah is the most grotesque way. The name of Jesus is tarnished, and dragged down in gutters. People who know their Bible will correctly brand the parading order brothers as a bunch of antichrist. Only compromising and apostate religious people are willing to accept these deceived souls as a part of the Christian family.
You be be wise, not accepting the Pope as a Christian leader. If you do, you will be partakers of his sin and lawlessness, and will have to face the eternal consequences of your betrayal of the living God.

And your love is much appreciated. Until I found your site years ago I was unaware of this bony issue. Even my wife, who was raised RCC, was aware of relics in the church but I guess unaware of the extent this worship takes.

Thanks for this blessing. Jesus warned us about people who would praise Him with their lips, but hearts being fare away from Him. We can not recognize a follower of Jesus only by what he says. But rather look at the fruits. The fruits of the RCC are not only bad. They are a disgrace.
Can there be Christians among the Roman Catholics?
If so, why do they call them selves Roman Catholics?
When truth has been revealed to you, you can simply not continue to attend the RCC mass, and pretend that your participation in pure blasphemy will not bring judgment.
