Worshiping the New age “god of the air”

“Catch the fire” movement keep on destroying Churches all over the World.

Carol and John Arnott keeps on distributing deceptive spirits into the Church through soaking.

The Toronto movement is distributing “catch the fire” spirits.

I just watched Carol Arnott on God.tv, preaching in Stavanger, Norway.

It is amazing that Christians accept their message. The Arnott’s calls people to be soaked into worship of spirits, and the “hosts of the air”.

  Matthew: 24:4-5

Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you.  For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.

The preaching is about a “spirit that come and goes” during soaking.  The Arnott’s tell us that it is great to be “electrocuted” by the power of “god”. They promote some kind of electricity.

 1 Timothy 4:1

The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.

The Bibles says that the Holy Spirit is a person, not “divine energy”. That is the counterfeit “Holy spirit” of the New Age movement, and different kind of spirits within new Hinduism and Kundalini.

The Holy Spirit comes and convicts us of sin, the righteousness of Jesus and the coming judgment. The New Age spirits electrocute people, make them jerk, laugh without control, and make people make all kinds of animal noises.

 1 John 4:1
Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

The Bible says the Holy Spirit is a helper. and an advocate. The Holy Spirit is Holy, and He will comfort you. He is not a bully, who will come and “electrocute” you. Demons do. Demons and unclean spirits would love to come and “burn” you, and lead you into worship of them in the name of “Jesus”.

 2 Corinthians 11:14
And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.

The Bible explains that the Holy Spirit will come and stay put inside a man who have surrendered to Jesus. The Holy Spirit will not “come and go”. Demons do. They come and try to misled you. They will come when they are invited.

When the Holy Spirit comes, He do not have to be invited. When the Father cuts your heart, Jesus asks the Father to send the Holy Spirit on you. The Apostles waited for The Holy Spirit for 50 days in Jerusalem. They did not soak, and decided when He should come. When the Holy Spirit came, He remained in them as a guaranty of their salvation. Their body became a Temple of the Holy Spirit.

“Catch the fire” conferences puts a demonic anointing on the Church. Soaking is nothing less that New Age meditation, and summoning of deceptive spirits.

When Carol Arnott preached in Stavanger, there was not a single Bible verse to he heard. Only about her personal experiences and manifestations. She needs deliverance, from the spirits that have taken her astray from the gospel.

Let this verse from Paul, stand as a warning to us all:

 2 Corinthians 11:4

For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough.

  1. Ivar, The Holy Spirit, can indeed leave someone, just as He left Saul, it`s not Biblical to say that the Spirit remains, no matter what we do. If we persist in known sin, He will indeed leave us. This is why Jesus said “IF you abide in me, I will abide in you” that means we have to stay in a constant relationship with Him.

    1. Dear Mel.

Shalom, and welcome to this site.

      You wrote:

      My reply:

      John 15:5
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

I do not disagree with you. If we do not listen to the Holy spirit, He will leave us. But He will not come and go from His Temple. Before He leave us, there will be a lot of pain, rebukes and discipline.

The nature of the Holy Spirit is to stay put. He has come, and will be with us forever. The Holy Spirit is not a looser. Jesus said that no one can snatch us out of his hands. No one. But if we walk away, He might let us go.

      John 14:16
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever.

The problem with unclean spirits who claim to be the Holy Spirit, is that they come and go. They have no right to abide in us, and can never take control of a born again Christian. But they will surely trouble us. Jesus also tests us, if we really love Him above all.

    2. The Holy Spirit doesn’t leave the saved person. Jesus said the Holy Spirit stays with the saved person forever (John 14:16). If a person loses the Holy Spirit, then they were never a believer to begin with. They had another spirit, that they lost. No loss at all.

  2. Very interesting article. I have been following this for awhile, and find it very alarming that so many are quick to jump on the bandwagon that Satan is presenting. Do you have a link to the video for this, I would like to see it. Thanks so much.

    1. Dear Stacey.

      Shalom.

Look at the Kundalini warning video. You find it on the scroll on the write hand column on the blog.

  3. I have come to discover that many of the so-called “men of God”, which many Christians have idolized for decades, are anything BUT godly. Much to my deep grief, they were fakes all along. Many are hybrid beings under the control of something bigger than they, yet not wise enough to fear the One true God-Jesus.
I, personally, don’t know if this be the case for John & Caroll Arnott, as I had been prayed for by John at a summer camp, just before all the renewal happened. God, the Father ministered a powerful experience of His tender, affectionate love for me, & having grown up w/much abuse as a child, & an absence of love, this was & remains, a memory of His love which is gradually healing to me.
Walking in love is EVERYTHING; without it nothing is anything. We DO need to be very alert to the strategic wiles of old sleuthfoot/boogerface, but the presence of weird events or manifestations is NOT evidence of the devil’s working. Since when has the Lord EVER been tamed, put in man’s comfy-safe little box, or done things in a not-weird manner??
Hard to say for sure, who’s what, but we need to be careful not to call everything witchcraft. God’s never been powerless, and He’s not about to change-ever! The Holy Spirit IS the power of God, & He could be grieved by the judging & condemning of His manifest Presence & the power that comes with HIM. I guess the Lord referred to such as “blaspheming the Holy Spirit.”=D ♥

    1. If manifestations DO NOT align in accordance to the Word of God, they should not be listened to! God clearly states, ‘God… in these last days has spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things…’ (Hebrews 1:1-2) To suggest that God’s Spirit has manifested Himself in any manner, not in accordance with God’s Word, is to go beyond God’s revelation of Himself.
While God is indeed all-powerful; while God is indeed sovereign; He is also immutable (consistent and unchanging) Thus, He will never reveal Himself in a manner not in accordance with what He has already revealed in Scriptural doctrine… simply put, God will not indwell any believer with the Holy Spirit in any manner not in accordance with His Word.
The doctrine these folks are preaching is not according to the Word of God. All true followers of Jesus Christ ought to avoid this heresy.

      1. You said…If manifestations DO NOT align in accordance to the Word of God, they should not be listened to!

I am in totally agreement with that…it is not only scriptural it is ‘Scripturally correct’ (smile)..you can’t get any better with that fact…far too many use their visions, dreams, experiences to take president over The Word of God, and if any of their experiences can ‘up’ another when they are challenged for scripture reference these poor souls list more ‘proof’ of their walk by their experiences and visions. Sad but true…these are always in need of prayer just as much as they desire to pray for others even more so…bottom line…all we do, did or have done or will do is listed in Scripture ‘as examples’ of the way to walk. The ones who are doing what they think is The Will of God…God’s work, and God’s calling on their lives are very blinded till they can be deceived if they don’t return to their first love and that is ‘JESUS’…not the dice game at the foot of the Cross!

  4. Precious brother. John Arnott’s ministry? Unless you are actually in the meeting and receiving something from the Lord, it is a hard call to judge what is happening on Trashy Vision (TV), God .ir not. The holy scripture. Says ….the anointing you have received remains with you. 1 john. No doubt their will be times when the Spirit of God comes upon us to do extraordinary miracles with signs and wonders following (mark 16:15-20) and this confirms the gospel. No signs, no power. But here’s discernment, not all signs and wonders are of God. Test the spirits, and if you are not in the meeting you cannot. First and foremost we must repent, receive the Holy Ghost (KJv-Av) Acts 1:8, 2:4, 37-38, 42. 10:44-45; 19: 1-8., be immersed into Jesus Christ through water. Firm a New Beginning we can discern correctly, without condemning brothers and sisters in Christ. We must talk stand before the judgement seat of Christ. Expose false doctrine, antichrist spirits and the Lord will judge his church and ministers. Kindness in Christ. Stephen in Sydney.

  5. I grew up in a cessationist “church” that dogmatically taught that the Holy Spirit was DONE doing anything miraculous ever since the Bible was canonized. People there did not want anything to do with God “moving” among them — too scary.

Other congregations are full of thrill-seekers who will do just about anything to make their experiences seem “real”, even if they have to scream and shout and act like nuts to “prime the pump” for the Spirit to move. Others convince themselves that their own craziness is actually a God thing.

I am 47 years old this Spring and I have experienced the feeling of God being near some 100 times in my life — mostly in corporate worship. Only twice have I experienced the manifest Presence of God –both times while totally alone and seeking Him earnestly; He interacted with me as the “still, small voice” — once He was pleased with me and once He was not.

I will take the “still, small voice” of God over the rantings of all the Saints (deluded, sincere, and otherwise).

No, the Lord will not permit one of His sheep to be Lost. No one loses their Salvation, but I and others have lost the JOY of Salvation. Remember that Ezekiel (chapter 8) saw the Spirit moving away from the Temple. The Spirit moved a bit and then turned to see if anyone had noticed His absence. Then a bit further, He turned again to see if they cared. Finally, he permitted the enemies of God and Israel to overcome the Jews and ruin the House of God. But do not forget that the Lord knows how to rebuild a ruined Temple. For the Saint, all losses are temporal and slight when compared to the riches which the God-Man has prepared for each one of us.

Thank you Ivar. Love you, bro! Look forward to meeting you.
