Mass death of herrings in Northern Norway

Biologist suggest 20 tons of herrings were chased up on fry land in Northern Norway.

20 tons of herrings lying on dry ground on a beach in Artic Norway.

This weekend, the citizens of the small village of Kvœrnes i Northern Norway witnessed a strange event. Around hundreds thousands of pelagic fish were washed onshore, and lied dead on the arctic beach. 20.000 kilos in all.

This event, remind us about similar events one year ago. On several places around the world, animals of different kind faced not explainable mass death.

I chose to believe in the Word of God, and not what mortal man tries to convince me. My brothers and sisters. Do likewise.

Daniel 6:27

He rescues and he saves; he performs signs and wonders in the heavens and on the earth. He has rescued Daniel from the power of the lions.

Luke 21:11

There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.

  1. I too read about this and that they disappeared just as suddenly.
    That is a real mystery to me, both the fish and then no fish.

    1. Hi Stephanie
      Hosea 4;123
      Those particular verses have nothing to do with the dead Herrings of Norway. Read the verses again.What land mourns?
      Why is it mourning and and who is God bringing the charge against and why.Thats not a prohecy of things to come but was a statement of what was happening then and there. To often verses are chosen to to get a point across when the verses selected have nothing to do with the topic.

      1. Dear Todd and Stephanie

        Hosea 4:1-3

        The Charge Against Israel
        1 Hear the word of the LORD, you Israelites,
        because the LORD has a charge to bring
        against you who live in the land:
        “There is no faithfulness, no love,
        no acknowledgment of God in the land.
        2 There is only cursing,[a] lying and murder,
        stealing and adultery;
        they break all bounds,
        and bloodshed follows bloodshed.
        3 Because of this the land dries up,
        and all who live in it waste away;
        the beasts of the field, the birds in the sky
        and the fish in the sea are swept away.

        (end of scriptures).

        I have to agree with Todd.This Prophecy is linked to “the land”. That is the land of Israel.

        This verse from the Book of Revelation is more suitable:

        Revelation 8:9
        a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.

      2. Ivar
        Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
        Rev. 1:1,2 says this;
        The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must SOON take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, 2. who testifies to everything he saw- that is, the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the TIME is NEAR.

        Two specific phrases contained in the opening statements of this awesome revelation. “what must soon take place” and “because the time is near”. Overlooked and totally misinterpreted by scholars. When I read those opening words of this book applying a literal understanding to them I can only interpret them as such. The things that were spoken of to take place, were all to take place soon from the time this revelation of Jesus Christ was written. The question one would ask is how soon is soon. As I have considered these words many times in meditation upon them, I am not able in any way to place “soon” and near 2000 years into the future. When Jesus said the things in this prophecy were to take place soon, I believe he meant soon and very soon. The urgency of the letters to the seven churches to be delivered to them confirms that the things prophesied to take place in the revelation of Jesus Christ were going to happen soon. If one believes that the prophecy of revelation is yet to come then your reply to me and Stephanie in quoting from Rev 8:9 could apply. However considering that Jesus says that they are soon to take place makes it difficult to believe that they would take place 2000 years into the future. I hold to a belief that is rooted in faith that they have already taken place. I am aware that the date of writing is inconclusive by scholars. The date of writing has been suggested to have been any where from 65A.D. to 93A.D. So I do not place any validity in the scholars theory. I consider it to be in the late 60s a.d. That is my opinion. You can take that for what its worth. I accept by faith that the words written in the Revelation of Jesus Christ have
        already taken place.
