Abbas a spoiled leader by US dollars

The U.S. Congress’ move to freeze $200 million in aid to the Palestinian Authority is a fitting punishment for Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

in his appeal to the United Nations, Abbas did not just totally ignore clear American statements, but also reneged on obligations incorporated in the Oslo Accords.

The Palestinian leader has, over the past several years, turned into the Arab world’s spoiled child, a child accustomed to praise and glorification.
The child has now reached a crossroads at which responsible governments are trying to pull him back before he plunges into the abyss.
There is nothing to the Palestinian claim of collective punishment. Any time a government freezes payment to a public body, it is by definition a non-specific punishment.

The freezing of U.S. funds is an ongoing move instituted ever since Israel found itself forced to thwart an immediate recognition of a Palestinian state at the U.N.

My comment:

The truth about “Palestine”, is that it is funded by American Tax payers money. The local Arab states only contribute a fraction to what is cost to run the PLO-adminitration in Ramallah.

The Oslo-accord lured Israel into a trap. Israel made Gaza a ‘Judenrein” zone, not Syria and Egypt. When the Jews were uprooted from Gaza, Israel did not get peace. The foolish move was seen as weakness, and Islam got more firepower.

Now Israel also support the PLO. The logic is that if the Jewish state do not support the PLO, the Jewish state will face a much worse enemy. The Iranian backed Hamas. Its like choosing between pest and cholera.  Either way, the patient will die.

The PLO should never have been permitted to build its terrorist base not the mountains of Zion. But there will be no re-match for Israel. Now there is no workable solution for peace, than the second coming of the prince of peace. The Messiah is the only one who can save Israel from the coming onslaught on the Jewish people.
