Dead Serious News: Move over Adam and Eve. Here comes Adam and Steve, as well as Samantha and Delilah. A newly revised gay-friendly Bible is set to go on sale in the next few weeks. Reaction to the announcement has been met with venom from conservative Christian groups.
Pink Cross Publishing, the same company that published a gay-friendly version of the Koran, stated that they were adding the finishing touches to the newly revised Bible. Mary and Joseph will be replaced by Mary and Josephine, a lesbian couple unable to have children the conventional way, hence the virgin birth of Jesus. All of Jesus’ disciples will be gay except for Judas. In the new Bible, all of the disciples will pair off after the Last Supper with the exception of Judas. Satan will also be straight. The new gay-friendly Bible has yet to be named.
Westboro Baptist Church has promised to picket Pink Cross Publishing and any store selling the new Bible. In response, members of the gay community have stated that they will purchase the new Bible to support Pink Cross Publishing.

Simply put, I am disgusted. Why? To twist God’s eternal word is blasphemous. And because each time I think most of mankind’s moral decline couldn’t sink any lower, then something like this is put out, and I realize yes, they actually can.

The defiling of God’s Word is the ultimate perversion. God’s Word is eternal. Man who think that they can re-arrange God’s Word to “accept” homosexual, is in danger of losing their soul to the eternal pit of hell. It is written, unless you repent and accept God, Christ tells us clearly sinners will not enter the gates of heaven.

As a Christian, I would never condone burning any book, because that is not how Christ wants us to behave. Jesus wants us to love one another, and treat each other with respect, more importantly speaking about Jesus and salvation.

I disagree. there is scriptual precident for burning that which is ungodly, see Acts 19:19. And since we are on the subject of burning, Romans 1:27 talks about the sin of homosexuality when men abandon the God ordained relationship and enter into same sex relationships. The bottom line here is that God is sovereign and man will not force Him to accept sinful lifestyles.God told Cain that if he did what was required, he would be accepted but if he didn’t sin was waiting to take over. I think we should pray and fast for those trapped in this lifestyle because if they sincerely want to please God, He wil deliver them, but He will not go against His Word and allow people to die in sin and walk on streets of gold. The bible says that without holiness, no man shall see the Lord.
I am not a Jesus Freak. I am all for Gay rights, loving who you want, being who you want. Afterall, no one answers to me nor should be judged by me. Though not a Jesus freak, I do believe we’ll all be judged in the end by our maker. However, if one believes the Bible to be NON FICTION, how or why would you want to just change the “characters” just to reflect and validate your own lifestyle? Maybe I should cheat on my husband and get a bunch of other cheaters togehter and we’ll create the Adulter friendly version of the Bible to make us feel better and accepted. It’s just senseless. The thought of this doesn’t scare me…I only fear one’s judgement day for doing such. Not for being gay necessarily, but for changing the word of God to the extent of printing a Bible to justify your orientation.

“Dead Serious News” is a satirical website.You guys might want to read the entire site again – it’s similar to the The Onion. Look under their “About” tab – it reads: “Dead Serious News is a satirical website that is updated on an irregular basis. With the exception of the names of public figures, all names are fictional.” The stories are fictional as well – Google doesn’t turn up a copy of this gay Bible or Pink Cross Publishing. Amazon doesn’t have it, either.
The publishers can try their best to twist God’s Word, but in doing so they should ask themselves the answers they’ll on the JUDGMENT DAY. God’s word is clear, no matter how hard they try it God will suprise them.

According to wikipedia, the leader is a disbarred Lawyer, a civil rights activist, He campaigned for Al Gore and supported Bill Clinton also tried to sue Ronald Reagan. Seems like an atheists posing as Christians where they can do the most damage to give Christians a bad name. A Liberal media weapon against conservative Christians. Somebody must be supporting them because all the do is travel and picket, 40 times per week even.

I never thought I would live to see the day that this came about, well I guess I did. It is a cryin out shame that the enemy has people so blinded and twisted to think that this is right or even makes since for that matter. Why did God destroy Sodom and Gomorrah?? The Bible is not God’s literal word, people. Learn a little history. It’s the word of the descendants and followers of Jesus which have been changed, edited, translated, and written in full many decades after Jesus’ death. I’m really sick of hearing people say “the eternal word of God”, if you’re looking for the literal spoken word of God, then convert to Islam. But the Muslims probably won’t tolerate your hatefulness either. Take your uneducated hate speech somewhere else.

I have started checking Snopes before believing anything on the internet because ANYONE CAN POST ANYTHING AND SAY IT IS TRUE. Please, please, PLEASE do your research before accepting something you read on the web as gospel truth. To be honest, it makes Christians–of which I am–look totally foolish and ignorant.
