Earl Cox: Israel must strike first to survive

Radical Islam is not a slow-growing cancer; it is a full-blown killer ready to wipe Israel off the face of the globe.

Earl Cox in one of the anchor of Front Page Jerusalem, the Christian Zionist radio in Jerusalem, sponsored by The International Christian Embassy. Cox wants Israel to strike first, like she did in 1967.

“The sad part of this scenario is that Israel is, indeed, alone and is caught between a rock and a hard place”.

” If Israel launches an all-out attack against Iran and the terrorist camps of Hizbullah and Hamas, most all of the international community will condemn Israel”

“On the other hand, if Israel sits idly by and does nothing to address what appears to be an imminent attack, she is a sitting duck waiting to be crushed .

Does Israel have the luxury of sitting back and waiting for international support or for an impossible, peaceful solution?

The answer is quite clear.

As one who values the truth of G-d’s Word and loves the Jewish state and its people, my voice cries out to Israel’s leaders not to be like King Saul of old who was afraid to go against a seemingly invincible Philistine giant but, instead, demonstrate the faith and courage of a young shepherd boy who downed the great giant using only a stone in a sling and later became Israel’s greatest king — David.

Israel, know and believe that G-d is on your side even if America and the rest of the world are against you.

Did Jesus really call his disciples to tell the Jews to go to war?

Did the Messiah really say “Blessed are the war makers”?

Self defense is not to attack and kill. The art of Self defense is to stay strong, and in this way deter the enemy from attacking. And if the enemy strikes you, hit them back hard.

Israel and the IDF have done that, and their military strategy is correct.  The problem is that the International community do not allow Israel to hit back hard. The art of self defense apply to every nation under the Heavens, less the state of Israel.

If Israel was free to act, the PLO would have expired inside Lebanon in 1982. Nasrallah would have been put in jail in 2006, and the Hamas leadership fugitives like the leaders of al Quada.

Cox misses the point in the story of David and Goliat. The young Jewish King elect defeated Goliat without using the sword. When the leader of the enemy was gone, the Philistines ran away, and their army was dissolved.

Its also worth mentioning that King David was not allowed to build the first Temple in Jerusalem, because he shed to much blood.  This kind of attitude never speaks in Israels favor.

Christian Zionists who involve them self in “war Zionism”, goes beyond their mandate.

Biblical Zionism is to support the Jews right to their Biblical homeland, and to preach the demand for repentance to Israel.

True peace can never be found in the next war. The state of Israel’s problems is linked to the Jewish people at large, lack of faith in Jesus the Messiah. He is there protecting them, but not happy with the currents state of affairs.
