The Palestinians are suffering «identity theft». Their grief is about more than being kicked out of the homes in which their families have lived for generations.
This is a statement of Jordan’s Queen Rania, who gave an address at Yale University in Connecticut in connection with the UN assembly in New York.
«Each new claim on their ever-shrinking space feels like a blow to their very existence. Having no place to call their own is like having no identity at all», the Queen explained.
She added that Israel had a choice to either integrate into the region or continue in isolation, «holding itself and the entire region a hostage to continuing confrontation», said Queen Rania. She is a West Bank Palestinian by birth.
Jordanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Judeh met with several world leaders on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly on Tuesday, including Quarter envoy Tony Blair and US Mideast adviser Dennis Ross. Nasser Judeh urged them to put pressure on Israel to cease building in Judea and Samaria and to retreat from East Jerusalem.
If Queen Rania is a West Bank Palerstinian by birth, how was she able to leave the West Bank?
I guess that was because the West Bank was controlled by Jordan from 1948 to 1967.
Since Jordan was in control of the so-called West bank during these years, why did Jordan not give the Palestinians citizenship in the Kingdom of Jordan?
By neither giving the Palestinians citizenship in Jordan, nor granting them a statehood of their own, I guess Jordan did occupy the so-called West Bank?
Can Israel under such circumstance be blamed for ending the Jordanian occupation?
Is Jordan willing to revoke the wrong they have done, and grant the Palestinians citizenship in Jordan, so that the so-called West Bank can be united to the Kingdom of Jordan?
If not, can the Jewish state of Israel, today, be forced to do what the Jordanians did not do to their own Muslim brothers, and are not willing to do, even today?
And not to be forgotten:
Since the kingdom of Jordan is founded on the land of the «Palestine mandate» and the Jordanians calls them self «Palestinians», why should the Kingdom of Jordan deny their Muslim brothers on the «West Bank» Jordanian Citizenship?
The Queen should be told to answer such questions. There are still people who can remember both what Jordan did do, and did not do, in the years between 1948 and 1967.
The Queen tell lies about Israel and the Jewish people.
