The Pope of Rome today used the Mosque al-Hussein bin Talal in Jordan to promote the new World unity religion. No words of The Jewish Messiah Jesus as the Only Son of God.
The pope had the following message to the Jordanian leaders of Islam:
«Muslims worship God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth, who has spoken to humanity. And as believers in the one God we know that human reason is itself God’s gift and that it soars to its highest plane when suffused with the light of God’s truth».
The head of the Roman Catholic religion, also accused those who claim that Islam promotes injustice and violence , to take part in ideological manipulation.
«However, is it not also the case that often it is the ideological manipulation of religion, sometimes for political ends, that is the real catalyst for tension and division, and at times even violence in society».
The Pope had the following message of unity:
«Muslims and Christians, precisely because of the burden of our common history so often marked by misunderstanding, must today strive to be known and recognized as worshippers of God faithful to prayer, eager to uphold and live by the Almighty’s decrees, merciful and compassionate, consistent in bearing witness to all that is true and good, and ever mindful of the common origin and dignity of all human persons, who remain at the apex of God’s creative design for the world and for history».
The Pope of Rome did not mentioned Jesus from Nazareth at all…

In my opinion – just another example that the Pope (at least – this Pope) is more of a politician, rather than a religious figure.
Dear Jonathan.
I agree. Its all about politics. If people had loved the Jewish people and the state of Israel, they would not have listen to World leaders who put Israel under such pressure. They would have rejoiced with the people of Israel, that this nation has become such a blessing within 60 years of its existence. To give up Jerusalem is as bad as a nightmare. I hope and pray that people from all over the World would come to Israel on a holiday, and see this miracle with their own eyes.
“The Pope of Rome did not mentioned Jesus from Nazareth at all”. How about you? Did you (or will you) travel to Muslim countries and tell every Muslim you meet to believe in Christ? If the answer is no then you are not in the position to critize anybody for not doing something you yourself are not doing. If the answer is yes, why don’t you share your valuable experience with us?
Dear Vivator.
Thanks for a reflective comment, and a very good point in regards to how a believer in the Jewish Messiah Jesus should approach a Muslim.
I live in a society, where five per cent are Muslims. I do not meet Muslims every day. But when i meet them, i take the opportunity with wisdom to ask them questions about their faith. And than I listen.
Many Muslims do have high regards for the Jewish Messiah. They consider him a prophet, from whom they can learn a lot. My advice to them, is to consider His claim to be more than a prophet. The Son of God.
Muslims at large do not have respect for people who do not believe in anything, or who believe that everything is from God. The Pope in Rome looks more like a kind politician, than a religious leader with a clear message.
And his message is not Biblical. At least He could have told the Islamic leaders, that Jesus disagree with them. And that the truth is a matter of faith, that we might disagree on.
If you are not willing to speak the truth, at least keep quiet.
Because they minority you have the courage to witness to them. Try to do the same in Muslim dominated countries like Jordan instead of sitting down and criticising other!
Dear Vivator.
Thanks for a positive and reflective comment. You are absolutely right. If I had lived in Saudi Arabia, I would have been dead by now.
Well said, ivarfjeld.
Who are Christians? Belivers in Jesus, right? So does the Pope has to mention Jesus in particular? Heart of Heart even Muslims know who exactly Jesus is and His Blessed Mother.
Jesus has even simplyfied the ten commandments into two: Love Your God and Love your neighbour as you love yourself. One does not have to be a rocket scientist to understand these.
Also, as some one said, unless Jesus is acknowledged as the Messiah, there will be no peace in the Middle East.
Am middle eastern. The Arabic/ Islamic culture does promote injustice and violence. In fact it aims at achieving ‘justice’ through terrorism. No I am not speaking of jihad. I am speaking of Arab men terrorizing women. Am speaking of the threats that women receive for even daring to ‘disobey’. These men are monsters. And unlike mr pope over here, it is not the people’s hallucination. He says he wants peace? He says he does not want people to judge the Muslims? Then how come he has no problem judging Americans and the western world by assuming that they are racist! How come he has no problem insulting them by insinuating that they are ignorant?! No. I attest to the fact that the Arab culture is not a good culture. This is not bigotry. This is actual experience. Trust me I have spent my whole life running for my life. What is even more ridiculous that they use the religion and culture to establish a moral level equal to that of beasts and, thus, all base men seem rightous! Their only excuse is their own bigotry. You ask them ‘ what makes x or y right?” the answer is that it is their culture. Their culture is the only justification. And if you ask ‘ why you treat women like this’ the answer is: American men also hit women. Thus the justification becomes other people’s wrong doing. True. But Americans at least do not see it as their birth right! Am sick of this culture. It is evil. And this pope is evil for defending such ostracity
