Al-Jazeera: Cash & Coffee from the US has corrupted our armed struggle

“The PLO police forces are fighting for the survival of the state of Israel”.

American coffee has had an impact in Ramallah. No longer do the youth want to blow them self up as Islamic suicide bombers...As long as the cash & coffee "aid" is flowing.

This is a view of cafe goer “Ahmad” in Ramallah. He tells the Arabic TV-Canal, English edition, that he is more afraid of the PA security forces than of the Israeli military. He says he is constantly watched and is thinking of fleeing the West Bank, even if that means leaving his family behind.

Ahmad’s feelings of desperation and loss are shared by senior members of Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC). Azzam Al-Ahmad, the head of the Fatah block in the PLC says:

Azzam Al-Ahmad is complaining about too much cash. It makes Jihad'ists lazy.

“We are no longer a liberation organisation and we haven’t achieved independence to govern a state. Simply, we fell in the Israeli trap. So did Hamas:.

Development, investment and growth have become synonymous with the doctrine known as ‘Fayyadism’, in reference to Salam Fayyad, the prime minister. Simply put, Fayyad believes that economic growth is the foundation for establishing an independent Palestinian state.

His vision has gained ground in international forums, particularly with the US, EU and the Quartet’s Middle East envoy, Tony Blair.

But what will happen when Fayyad is no longer prime minister?

Will the international funding stop?

The US and EU are helping to build the West Bank to set an example of prosperity and development to Gazans, who they hope will want the same for themselves and eventually overthrow Hamas.

But one foreign journalist who has just returned from Gaza, told me: “There is more stability and security today in Gaza under Hamas than in the West Bank under the Palestinian Authority.”

Critics of the PA inside the West Bank believe that their security apparatuses have become Israeli proxies, protecting Israel from the Palestinian armed struggle and not the other way around.

Palestinian and international human rights organizations have accused the PA security apparatuses of corruption, torture and human rights abuses, both in Gaza and the West Bank.

There are to much cash on the West Bank nowadays. An to much cash. Even in Gaza, there is a lull.

Ahmad is a young history teacher and a former member of Hamas who lives in the West Bank. He admits that he carried arms and fought alongside fighters from Fatah during the second intifada. He consequently spent two years in Israeli prisons.
But lately it has been the PA security forces who he says have arrested, questioned and tortured him. He has been accused of hiding weapons. Something he categorically denies.

My Comment:

Everything was better before. When Azzam Al-Ahmad, was fighting along Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh.

Sometimes you have to watch Islam-TV to get the balanced truth.

Because American TV-stations like CNN is full off political deception from Washington, and the BBC have turned into a PR-department for the “peace now” movement.

But not the Arabic TV canal al-Jazeera.

They want more Jihad. The storyline is that the Arab Palestinians have corrupted them self with “aid” from Europe and US.

We have to understand, that Its not enough to give an Arab Palestinians cash, to give him a future. There is no future for the religion of Islam, as long as there is a Jewish state in her midst.

The cash must obviously not be used to build more cafe’s and jobs for the local Muslims in Ramallah. The US “aid” must be used to purchase more firearms to be used against Israel.

This is logic of the conflict. Both Washington and London has lost the mark. When their cash is over, the War returns.

Israeli construction company demands compensation for freeze

A Builder has filed a lawsuit against the Israeli government. Seeking 4.8 million USD for damage to finances and public image because of settlement freeze.

The state of Israel faces lawsuits because it bowed down to pressure from President Obama.

A construction company in Modi’in Ilit is demanding NIS 18 million (USD 4.8 million) in compensation from the State for damages it sustained due to the temporary freeze in settlement construction.

In a letter addressed to the prime minister, the defense minister, the finance minister, and GOC Central Command, the company – Neot Hapisga Modi’in Ilit – said it had been in the midst of constructing hundreds of housing units in the city, which belonged to an overall project entailing the construction of 2,300 housing units in all.

The letter holds the state responsible for the financial damage done to the company and demands compensation. «There is a price for political decisions and this must be recognized», the company states.

The company claims that the 10-month freeze instated by the government ruined its ability to fulfill obligations made to purchasers of the housing units, and that this did inestimable damage to its public image.

«The responsibility rests solely on the shoulders of the prime minister and the government, who with an unplanned decision and shortsightedness brought the company to its current state», the letter says.

«The government must immediately compensate the company for the damages it sustained and negotiate with it on future damages that can result from government orders».

Neot Hapisga says the sum of the compensation demanded takes into account economical damages as well as the damage done to its image. The 18 million will «prevent the company’s immediate collapse and allow it to pay its immediate debts», the letter says.

My comment:

A Construction company has to be ready for a freeze of its activities, in specially if the company has done anything illegal. There can also be situations of Force Major, accidents or other calamities that can force the Government to demand a halt to any constructions.

But the only «calamity» that has forced the Israeli Government to halt construction in Judea and Samaria, is US President Barack Hussein Obama.

The Israeli Government will now be forced to explain In the Court of Law why they should not be ordered to pay for the loses of builders, that have both their papers and quality of work in perfect order.

Hamas: «We will turn all off Israel into Palestine»

The Islamic rulers in Gaza will not give up a grain of claimed to be «Palestinian» soil

Islamic hate, violence and random killing will go on till the day the state of Israel has ceased to exist.

This is the words of Hamas spokesman in Khan Younis Hamad al-Ruqub. He gave this statement on Monday, confirming that Hamas would not concede a grain of what they claim is Arab Palestinian soil. The Jihad against Israel will continue till the Jewish state is dead and gone.

Al-Ruqub said Hamas would remain the spearhead in the land of Jihad defending the Arab and Muslim nations’ dignity on their behalf. He called on the Arab and Muslim nations to shoulder their responsibilities and stand by the Palestinian people until the coming day of victory.

My comment:

When Obama pressurized The Israeli Government to freeze settlements in Judea and Samaria, the US Government hoped that PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas would  agree to restart the peace negotiations.

But Obama was left with nothing.

And if The Fatah-leadership in Ramallah would have agreed, there is not a single word about how the «peace process» will deal with Hamas being in charge of Gaza.

Either there have to become a three-state-solution, or there is no solution at all.  Hamas, who has sworn an oat to Allah to destroy Israel, simply refuse to disappear

Netanyahu`s building freeze prelude to new evacuation of Jews

The Israeli Government will allow Jews to be uprooted from lands claimed by the Palestinian Arabs.

Israeli police used to move Jews from Jewish properties. Did they learn anything from Gush Katif in Gaza?

Israeli settler leaders on Saturday warned that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s 10-month limited settlement freeze implemented under international pressure is a prelude to another round of uprooting Jews from lands claimed by the Palestinian Arabs.

During an emergency meeting of settler leaders in the Samarian town of Ofra, Likud MK Dani Danon called Netanyahu’s decision a new «White Paper» referencing efforts by the British Mandate regime to severely curtail Jewish immigration to the Holy Land during the first half of the last century.

An Israeli police tells a Jewish settler to leave Gush Katif. The house is already set ablaze by the owner.

Settler leader Itzik Shadmi added:
«You have to understand that what is happening here is the prelude to an evacuation, and anyone who does not understand this is not facing the truth».

The anti-settlement freeze lawmakers and local community leaders urged their supporters to engage in non-violent protest, such as a mass rally planned opposite the Prime Minister’s Residence in Jerusalem on Wednesday. They also vowed that building will continue in the settlements despite Netanyahu’s decree.

Despite being nearly 300,000 strong, the Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria view a mass evacuation as a very real possibility after former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon surprised everyone by actually uprooting over 10,000 Jews from the Gaza Strip in 2005.

Netanyahu insists that his settlement freeze in temporary and will not be repeated. But those who have been observing the Middle East conflict closely know that once Israel has made a major concession, international pressure rarely allows the Jewish state to return to go back on it.
