The “holy corpse” east of Jerusalem

The remains of an Orthodox priest named “St. John” is adored and venerated in the monastery of St. George in Wadi Qelt between Jerusalem and Jerico.

Both the head skin and hair of this “saint” in kept for public veneration in the desert east of Jerusalem

It would be grave injustice towards Roman Catholics, to claim that only they adore and venerates skull, corpses and bones.  In fact the various Orthodox Churches do the same.

In the example of “St.John” located in a cave in the desert between Jerusalem and Jerico, it must also be added that the Roman Catholics at least cleanse their skulls, before putting them up for public display and worship-services.

Here are some few more pictures:

The place of worship is full of images and a corpse.
The shoes might not be of the latest fashion.  The ancient pagan Assyrian sun wheel is displayed just in front of his toes.
Of course, this is not consulting the spirit of the dead. Just a little bit kissing and touching of the glass mounter.

A few hundred years ago, Roman Catholic priests boiled exhumed corpses in lye to get the rotten and dead meat separated from the skeleton. What the priests did with all the boiled meat has been deleted from official Church history. But there are examples of the boiled meat being re-buried, and the skeleton of the “saint” cut into pieces and sold as relics.

It is great that many bloggers use Social Media to display what have been hidden in darkness for hundreds of years, believing they are writing about something “holy”. In this example from the monastery of St. George, the corpse is venerated as it looked when it was exhumed in 1960. Obviously pretty rotten, and absolutely not a venerable item for minor children.

Let us as adults take a deeper look at the official story, and some pictures.

In this cave – carved into the steep cliffs of the mountain, St. John spent his days in prayer and fasting, sleeping very little on a mat laid on a wooden board and eating little dry food. In this poor and lowly surrounding, St. John prayed for eight years, enduring cold, hunger, thirst, heat, diseases, deprivations and temptations of all kinds.

His holy body was placed in a tomb where he had prepared ahead of time. At his death, multitudes of birds had miraculously gathered at the monastery of St. George during the memorial service.

For twenty years, St. John’ body rested in the tomb of Saint Ann‘ Cave. In August 1980, by divine providence when his grave was opened, his body was found whole, incorrupt and fragrant. His relics were translated in great procession into St. George Monastery chapel and placed in a glass casket.

If you ever enter into the desert, you will find the corpse inside this caved landscape east of Jerusalem.
The Orthodox priests have built a monastery where people normally do not live.
The “holy corpse” of St. John of Hozava born in Romania. He died in 1960.

Even though the corpse have not been convincingly beautified, the Romanian Orthodox Church canonized the remains in 1992.

For his holy life, the Holy Synod of the Romanian Orthodox Church at its meeting in June 20th 1992, proclaimed the canonization of Blessed John among the saints under the name “St. John the New,” “St. John Jacob from Neamt” or “the Hotzebite”, his commemoration takes place on August 5/18 each year.

I am not sure “Orthodox Christians” pay any attention to the Bible, but rather live in lawlessness authorized by their priests and bishops. Jesus has the following message to all who consider this kind of tasteless religious sites for “places of holiness”.

 Matthew 23:27
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of dead men’s bones and everything unclean.

“Holy skeleton” of the day

This corpse is kept for display in an Orthodox Church in Romania.

The dead body of this Orthodox priest have been robbed from the grave, to be kept for display.

Ilie Lacatusu of Romania (priest) [12/8/1909-7/22/1983] – incorrupt body emits odor of chrism; prophesied the his wife would die 15 years after him.

My comment:

I know it is cold in the winters in Romania. That must be the explanation why the Orthodox clergy has put a topphy on the head of this corpse.  That this skeleton is not “incorrupt” is obvious for all who do not want to feel the odor…

Only 27 years have passed since this priest died. May the grave looters put this skeleton back in the grave ASP.

Greek Orthodox leader caught in 600 million USD fraud

The Greek religios leader in the center of fraud.
The Greek religios leader Archimandrite Ephraim in the center of fraud.

Archimandrite Ephraim is one of Christian Orthodoxy’s leading spiritual figures. Now he face prison for fraud.

Also, the Greek government “ceded” to the Vatopaid monks some 800 hectares of land valuable from the angle of tourism. The area is located near the town of Ouranoupolis in the vicinity of Mount Athos.

In exchange, the monks handed to the Greek Government some 8,000 hectares of land in the country‘s north. The attorneys claim the transactions inflicted a damage of USD 100 million as a minimum on the national budget.

The Greek criminal justice system is today in the dock having used extraordinary methods to “capture”.

Abbot Ephraim the leader of the largest monastery on Mount Athos in Greece, and one of Christian Orthodoxy’s leading spiritual figures.

The Russian Government and the Russian Orthodox Church have made strong protests to the Greek Government:

“Such actions on the part of authorities of a country that is Eastern Orthodox under the provisions of its Constitution can only be regarded as an instance of inadmissible politicization of court investigations,” the Foundation of St Andrew the First said in a special statement.

The Itar Tass news agency in a report said:

”The foundation urged the Greek judiciary to ensure a fair and unbiased investigation of litigations between the state and the monastery. It also called on the Greek nation to remain committed to the spirit and values of Eastern Orthodox Christianity and to stay away from involvement in the politically motivated court cases:.

“

The statement also said the Foundation officials were quite “astonished upon noting the fact that the court passed a decision on taking archimandrite Ephraim to custody soon after his return to Russia where he escorted the Virgin Mary’s girdle.”

My comment:

There has always been a problem with a “Church”, that tries to build God’s kingdom on Earth.  Jesus the Messiah could have done that. He could have lived in palaces built by men, and had a red carpet welcome into any bank.

But Jesus told us plainly: “My kingdom is not of this world”.

Both the Roman Catholic and Orthodox Churches are false Churches. They seek political and financial powers, and walk in the ways of the World. Such “Churches” are corrupt like any other worldly power.

The Jewish Apostles Paul warned us about religious men, who are not born again, but full of filth and greed.

  Romans 1:29-31

They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy.

The latest scandal in Greece is a brilliant continued exposure of what the wikileaks revealed to us. Bad company corrupts the very best character. The global elite, both the secular and religious, is a gathering of corrupt hypocrites.  They love money, have made money their master, and are a part of the kingdom of this world.

 Luke 16:13
“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”

John 15:19
If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.

The head who gives Greek Orthodox more water

“When the priests process with the holy relics around the monastery grounds, the water level in the well rises”.

The head of a greek "saint" kept in a box and paraded through the streets.

This is written on a Greek Orthodox website. Here is the full story:

One day St. Gerasimos set about digging a well near his monastery in Kefallonia. Standing at the bottom of the well he scooped up the damp earth, and the nuns hauled it to the surface. As they worked, a local villager passed by and said, “Look at this immoral monk with all his nuns.” The Saint, who could not have possibly heard the distant man’s words, climbed out of the well, and called for the villager to come to him. He wrote a short message on a piece of paper, folded it up and told him to take it to the judge. The note said, “Arrest him because he has falsely accused me.” The judge interrogated the man, who confessed his slanderous words and begged for mercy, not knowing that St. Gerasimos had also written, “…but set him free after you question him.”

The well still exists, and local Christians say that on the feastday of the Saint, when the priests process with the holy relics around the monastery grounds, the water level in the well rises as the relics approach it and recedes as the procession moves away.

My comment:

Lets take a look at some more pictures:

The head of the corpse is paraded through a street in Greece.
It is not explained why some Greek Orthodox lie on the street in front of the skull.

In my opinion, the cut of head does not seems to find particular pleasures from within the box.

If the water in the well is rising during the religious march around the well, it might be another flood that might come to put God’s wrath on the wicked.

It is therefor understandable that the water do recede after the feast. Since God promised Noah to never kill the whole mankind again by flooding them.

A religious man in Greece kiss the feet of the skeleton.
The head of the saint has deterorated. The nose is gone on this picture from a You-tube video

But the gate of Hell is wide open for all who feel its pleasing to God to keep a cut of head in a box, and march it around on a Greek island.

Even kissing the corpse. What about bowing down and kissing the toe bone?

A religious man put his head inside the box, to kiss the "crosses on the chest of the saint.

Surely a grotesque expression of “faith”, and the absolute nadir of religious perversions in the name of “Ieso Cristo”, a Helenistic copycat.

You can watch the corpse and the march looking at this video:
