The Old and the New Covenant

Isaiah 53:5

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.

Ephesians 2:4-6

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.

Jewish Rabbis: «Catholics and Jews should make final peace»

«Catholics and Jews are brothers and sisters deeply bound by their fervent belief in the one creator of heaven and earth».

The Pope visted
Pope Benedict XVI at the Park East Synagogue in New York just before the start of the Jewish Sabbath, in April 2008.

This are viewpoints of Rabbi Dr. Eugene Korn and Rabbi Dr. Shlomo Riskin. They have published a letter in Jerusalem Post. This is their conclusion and advice, in regards to Catholic-Jewish relations:

The reconciliation of the Church with the Jewish people is one of God’s great blessings, one that inspires all people around the world. If the Church and the Jewish people can make peace with each other after nearly 2,000 of enmity, then peace is possible between any two peoples anywhere.

Recognizing that Catholics and Jews are brothers and sisters deeply bound by their fervent belief in the one creator of heaven and earth who revealed Himself to the people Israel is one of the miracles of the last century – and it is too important for Jews, for Catholics and for the world to allow to lapse.

Rabbi Dr. Eugene Korn

Jews and Catholics share a common spiritual patrimony and all people of good will should pray that both the Church and the Jewish people continue to work for this historic reconciliation grounded in mutual understanding, respect and equality.

My comment:

It sounds loving and sweet that Catholics and Jews serve the same God, called the creator. But if that is the truth about «god», than also the Muslims should be included.

Rabbi Dr. Shlomo Riskin

But the this kind of «unity» is not based on the truth. Because the creator is a tribune God, of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. In fact all the three major faith`s on Earth rejects the tribune God, and in particular that the Son is the only way to our Father in Heaven. In Judaism «Jesus» is not found to be the Messiah. In the Catholic faith His saving blood is denied, and His glory not to be found in obedience to His words, but rather in worship of statues of wood and stone.

A unity outside of the faith in the Jewish Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth, is falsehood. It will only lead to the final false universal religion of all faiith`s lead to the one and only God the creator. Omitting the need to repent from sins, and accept the only valid redemption that is found in the blood of Jesus.

Lie # 2: Had Israel withdrawn to its June 1967 borders, peace would have come long ago.

Since 1967, Israel repeatedly has conceded «land for peace».

Following Egyptian President Sadat’s historic 1977 visit to Jerusalem, Israel withdrew from the vast Sinai Peninsula and has been at peace with Egypt ever since.

But the Palestinian Authority has never fulfilled its promise to end propaganda attacks nor drop the Palestinian National Charter’s call for Israel’s destruction. In 2000, Prime Minister Barak offered Yasser Arafat full sovereignty more than 97 percent of the West Bank, a corridor to Gaza, and a capital in the Arab section of Jerusalem. Arafat said no.

My comment:

Tuesday wake up call

If the borders of 1967 could have given Israel and the Middle East East peace, there would never have been a Pan-Arabic 1967 war against Israel.

The PLO was formed in 1964, three years before the massive Pan-Arabic attack on Israel.

The PLO-motivation was not to establish the 1967-borders, but to get rid of the Jewish state. Because in 1964 Jordan, Syria and Egypt controlled Gaza, Golan and the so-called West bank. When these Arab state controlled what they today wants back for a peace-deal, they did not recognize any Jewish state to exist.

There can be no peace without a Pan Arabic recognition of the state of Israel, prior to any kind of peace negotiations. Such peace «talks» will alway be based on lies and cheating against the Jewish people.

Jews attacked in Jerusalem as Berlin and Warsaw are repeated

A Jewish family was violently attacked by Arab and foreign protestors as they moved into their new home on the eastern side of Jerusalem, which is claimed by the Palestinians as their future capital.

Jews in Berlin were persecuted just because they were Jewish.

The assailants, which included many left-wing Americans, used stones and clubs to attack the family and the security guards present at the site. One security guard was wounded before police could bring the rioters under control.

While the Arabs claim the property is theirs, in reality is belonged to the Sephardic Community Committee and housed Jewish family up until 60 years ago, when the Jews were driven out by invading Jordanian forces. Israel’s Supreme Court recently ruled that the original owners may legally reclaim possession of the property.

My comment

The anti-Zionists work together with Islam, using the same methods as the Nazis was using in the 1930-ties. The Nuremberg Laws of 1935 became the beginning of the end for the Jews in Europe. The Jews were robbed for all their properties, and later slaughtered in gas chambers during the Holocaust.

The Nazi-laws are similar to the laws US President Barack Obama wants to enforce as new International law on the state of Israel. The idèa that there a certain areas and nations that Jews are not allowed to live and build, is pure racism. To make Judea, Samaria and East Jerusalem «Judenrein» is exactly what Adolf Hitler would have done.

This was the effect of the The Nuremberg Laws:

People defined as Jews could then be barred from employment as lawyers, doctors or journalists.

Jews were prohibited from using state hospitals and could not be educated by the state past the age of 14.

Public parks, libraries and beaches were closed to Jews. War memorials were to have Jewish names expunged.

Even the lottery could not award winnings to Jews.

Jews, at the insistence of Swiss immigration officials, were required to adopt a middle name: «Sara» for women and «Israel» for men when applying for a passport.

These passports were required to have a large “J” stamped on them and could be used to leave Germany – but not to return
