The Savior of the World was born by a Virgin!

In these days we will mark the day traditionally associated with the birth of Jesus Christ.

The question of whether or not Jesus’ mother Mary was actually a virgin, or if it even matters if she was, is causing tremendous controversy in many parts of what calls itself “The Christian World” today.

Such controversies only serve to prove a point I’ve made many times, that despite labels like “Catholic” and “Lutheran” and “Orthodox” there are really only two kinds of Christians in the world, those who take the Bible seriously and those who don’t.

The story of Mary being visited by an Angel in the first chapter of the Gospel of Luke makes it absolutely clear that Mary was in fact a virgin and that she was impregnated by the Holy Spirit. If you take the Bible seriously, you will accept this. If you don’t you won’t, and many who otherwise call themselves “Christians” don’t.

The disbelief in the Virgin Birth is not a fringe phenomenon either. If you believe polls, less than half of the students in seminaries training to be pastors believe in it, and I recently overheard a highly renowned Biblical scholar here in Jerusalem telling his students that “one of the theories we have is that Mary was raped and then suppressed the memory.”

Part of the doubt cast on the Virgin Birth has been quite deliberate. Some of this comes from atheists who hold the entire Bible in contempt and do all they can to discredit it.

But much of the doubt cast on the Virgin Birth goes back to ancient times and was done by Jewish religious authorities, who pointed to the prophecy in Isaiah 7:14;

“Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel.”

The New Testament says that Mary’s giving birth to Jesus while still a virgin was a fulfillment of that prophecy, but if you ask almost any Jewish Rabbi about it they will give you the stock answer, that in the original Hebrew Isaiah uses the word “almah” which can mean either “virgin” or “young (unmarried) maiden”

While being literally true, this stock answer, which has been picked up by others, is also a deliberate deception, and most of the people who give it know that it is.

It commits the classic error of taking a Bible passage out of context. When one commits this error on purpose, the motive for doing so should always be scrutinized.

In the context of the passage, Isaiah is telling King Ahaz about a miraculous sign from God. As I said before, there would be absolutely nothing special, much less miraculous, about a “young maiden” having a baby. In fact, if she wasn’t married, it would not only be not miraculous it would be shameful, and God would not be in it.

Additionally, the Septuagint, a Greek translation of the Jewish Scriptures made by a team of 70 Jewish scholars in Alexandria Egypt in the 3rd and 2nd centuries BC, uses the word “virgin” in that passage (the Greek noun being more precise in its meaning than the Hebrew “almah”) and it was not until around the time of the Bar Kokbah Revolt in 135 AD, when the Rabbis were worried about Jews converting to what was then a new religion called “Christianity” that this stock answer about the word “almah” in Isaiah 7:14 started to be circulated.

The 70 Jewish scholars who translated the Septuagint had no reason to deliberately use the Greek term for “virgin” except that they all agreed that in the context of the passage, that was the correct noun to use.

The Jewish religious authorities who attempted to cast doubt on this use of the noun in 135 AD, and their antecedents, “christian,” jewish and atheist, who continue to do so to this day, have a very obvious reason to do so, and its not a benevolent one.

They are deliberately and unapologetically seeking to discredit the New Testament, using a rhetorical device they know to be deceitful.

The best defense against this kind of deceitful thinking is a thorough and constant study of the Word of God. Since Christmas is coming up and it’s a time of giving gifts, I suggest for all of you to give yourselves and your loved ones a One Year Bible, which is the best method I’ve ever found for daily Bible Study. Jesus the Messiah celebrated the festival of Hanukkah

The Messiah was in Jerusalem, celebrating the festival of Hanukkah. Why do most Christians have no clue about this?

The Messiah was in Jerusalem celebrating the festival of Hanukkah, found in the New Testament.

I can understand that Purim might be a little bit off screen, since it is mentioned in the book of Esther, only. Still Esther is a part of the Jewish Bible, which Christians call the Old Testament.

But Hanukkah is a New Testament feast, found in the gospel of John:

John 10:22:   

Then came the Festival of Dedication at Jerusalem. It was winter, and Jesus was in the temple courts walking in Solomon’s Colonnade. The Jews who were there gathered round him, saying, ‘How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly.’

(end of scripture).

Please note “It was winter”. In Jerusalem the winters can be very could, and the animals would be in the mangers. Not out on the fields of Bethlehem.

Why is it not mentioned, that it was winter when Jesus was born?

There are neither signs, nor feasible facts in the Bible, linking the birth of Jesus to the winter season.

Could the Messiah have been born around the Feast of Tabernacles in October?

It would be easy for the Roman Occupiers of this land, to arrange for a census in Jerusalem when millions of Jews came home to their own native village. Most of the ancient Biblical villages were located around Mount Zion, the city of Jerusalem, a day walk away or so. Even Jesus the Messiah, was dedicated in the Temple, shortly after His birth.

It would be wise to arrange for a census when Jews celebrated a feast. It would be difficult to force Jews to travel around 25th of December, when there is no Jewish feast. And cold winds, and even snow are the normal climate, on the 700 meters high Mountains of Zion.

Catholicism is fraud. It was fraud in 325 A.D, and it is fraud today.

Celebrate the birth of Jesus the Messiah every day, and reject all kinds of paganism arranged for in his name. If you want to celebrate the birth of Messiah on 25th of December, at least be aware of who started this celebration. It was not the Jews who believed that Jesus was the Messiah, but rather the pagan papacy.

The wrong Christmas message

The Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem use his “Christmas message” to blame Israel for the plight of Christians in the Middle East.

The Popes man in Jerusalem and the PLO-leader serve the same "god". — The Popes man in Jerusalem and the PLO-leader are brothers in arms. They serve the same “god”, not God of the Bible.

Shame on the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, Fouad Twal, for taking the occasion of his annual “Christmas message” to blame Israel for the plight of Christians in the Middle East.

It is precisely at this juncture — when the persecution of Christians in the Muslim-Arab world is not merely increasing at a frightening rate.

The persecution is becoming more blatant and bloodier — that the chief Roman Catholic cleric in the Holy Land should be warning against the religious war being waged against his brethren.

After all, churches in every Islam-dominated country are being destroyed; Christian women (including nuns) are being raped, men (including priests) are being beheaded; and the property of those who would escape this fate is being confiscated.

Meanwhile, liberal Christians in the West have been looking the other way.

Fearing accusations of Islamophobia, they prefer promoting “interfaith dialogue” to protesting the abominations being perpetrated against their own.

There is also an element of “out of sight, out of mind” at work. Those “other” Christians live in faraway lands and speak foreign languages. This makes it easier to forget about them and go about the business of decorating trees, shopping for gifts, stuffing stockings and singing carols.

My comment:

There is a lot of truth in the message from this Jewish columnist. Christians all over the World are lukewarm towards the Islamic persecution and slaughter of Christians and Catholics all over the Middle East, and deep into Africa.

But we can not blame any Jew, not to be able to see that Roman Catholicism has nothing to do with the true Christian faith. Neither Catholicism nor Islam has its root in faith in the living God. Both these religions serve the kingdom of darkness.

The spiritual tragedy of the Roman Catholic religion is even grater than that of Islam. Because all the evil of Rome is done in the name of “Christ”.

Millions of people hold a finger over their nose when they see the immorality and wickedness of the Vatican priesthood. Unfortunately, almost every Jew take a stand against “Jesus”, believing the god of the “Christians” to be an enemy of the Jewish people.

But if you can see that the “Jesus of Rome” is a dangerous copycat, everything will eventually fall into place. Because the true Messiah warned about copy-cats that would come, and deceive, even the elect, if possible. The Jewish people are definitely a part of the elect, and should be be unable to discern the Papacy.

I pray for all deceived Roman Catholic, that they will leave this religious movement. Next, that they will repent, and embrace the true Messiah.

I also pray for the Jewish, that they will acknowledge that anyone who have harmed a Jew, have never known the Messiah. Yeshua of Nazareth loves the Jewish people. He died for the sins of both Jews and gentiles at Calvary Hill in Jerusalem. Amen.

Obama desecrate the Hanukkah festival

In front of a laughing crowd, Obama lift up an abomination that will create desolation. A thanksgiving turkey as a base for a Hanukkah lamp.

In the merger of a turkey and the Jewish festival of light. Obama shows his true colors.

Many Christians have no clue about what the Hanukkah festival is all about. An anti-semitic king had put pigs into the Temple in Jerusalem, and tried to destroy the Jewish faith and culture.

After the war that followed, the winning Maccabean’s had to clean up the temple from this abomination that created desolation.

On the 5th of December 2013, President Barack Hussein Obama celebrated Hanukkah in the White House. Bragging and laughing, the US President speak about merging the Thanksgiving feast with Hanukkah, presenting to the World a new religious symbol. A Thanksgiving turkey, as a base of a Hanukkha lamp. Obama calls it “The Menurky”.

The Bible says many antichrists have walked into the World. Obama seems to be a man who fits into all kinds of faiths.

To all Christians Obama pretend to be a Christian, to a Muslim he portray Islam as the true religion of peace. And in a bid to convince the Jewish people about his true friendship, Obama celebrate both passover in the White House, and preach on the events of Hanukkah.

Do not be surprised if, in 2014 , the World leaders will birth an event, that has never been seen on Earth before. Both the Jesuit Pope and Obama traveling together to Jerusalem, to hail a new “peace agreement”.

There they will face both Abu Mazen (PLO leader, alias Mammoud Abbas) and Benjamin Netanyahu, signing an historic “peace agreement”. Than the age of judgment can begin. The false prophet and the final man of lawlessness have been reveled.

Lets wait and watch.
