Netanyahu: The PLO abandon the path of peace

“He chooses to abandon the path of peace and join himself to Hamas”.

They shake hands. A political theater takes place, staged by Secretary of state Hillary Clinton.

These are the words of Benjamin Netanyahu to Likud-party ministers in Israel.

Mahmoud Abbas, President of the Palestinian Authority, has agreed to lead a transitional national government that would include the militant faction that runs Gaza until elections are held, possibly later this year.

But the breakthrough provoked a strong reaction from Israel, which deplores Hamas as a terrorist group. Mr Netanyahu told his Likud party ministers that if Mr Abbas implements the agreement, “he chooses to abandon the path of peace and join himself to Hamas”.

Khaled Meshaal, Hamas’s political head, and Mr Abbas, the leader of Fatah, signed a declaration in Doha under the gaze of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, the Qatari emir who brokered the deal.

By reserving the post of prime minister for himself, Mr Abbas effectively accepted Hamas demands for the dismissal of Salam Fayyad, the Western-backed premier. The dispute over the post had proved a major obstacle to the formation of an interim government.

Challenging scepticism among both Palestinians and Israelis, Mr Abbas said the agreement would be implemented “in the shortest time possible”.

My comment:

For the Israeli Prime Minister, the unity government of the PLO and Hamas is bad news.

Simply because their infighting have made it practically impossible to form a two-state-solution. Keeping the Hamas isolated in Gaza, has been Israel best bid to survive.

The Pope, The Quartet and the UN will now demand the rapid formation of the state of “Palestine”.

 Exodus 23:22
If you listen carefully to what he says and do all that I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and will oppose those who oppose you.

Since Benjamin Netanyahu in principle has agreed to accept a “Palestinian statehood”, it is only a matter of time before the Israeli government will sign a great compromise.

The PLO and the Hamas will get their terrorist statehood at the mountain of Zion, against an acceptance of the state of Israel’s right to exist.
But the signature of the PLO-leader and the Hamas leadership, will not be worth the paper it will be written on.

Road to Jenin reopened in ceremony with Tony Blair

The Jalama crossing between the Palestinian city of Jenin and the lower Galilee was opened to vehicular traffic for the first time in eight years.

Tony Blair works hard to force Israel to hand over the Jewish homeland to radical Islam represented by Mahmoud Abbas. This photo is not from Jenin.

The road was opened during a ceremony with Middle East Quartet envoy Tony Blair, local Palestinian governor Musa Kadura of Jenin, and Israeli deputy Prime Minister Silvan Shalom.

The slogan was «Economic cooperation can bring about dramatic change in the Middle East. The Palestinians are still wary that the economic dialogue will come at the expense of the political dialogue – and that is a mistake,” said Shalom,.

He added that,
«opening the crossing will promote the Palestinian economy by bringing in Israeli Arabs as consumers to Palestinian cities» Blair echoed Shalom’s hopes that the step of reopening the crossing and building the Palestinian economy would be a step towards peace.

Well and good. Lets hope and pray that renewed trust from the Government of Israel, will lead the Arab Palestinians to renounce violence.

Mahmoud Abbas facing challenge to his leadership from aggressive youth

After meeting Prime Minister Netanyahu without preconditions, Mahmoud Abbas facing a revolt against his leadership of Fatah from guard of younger leaders.

Handshakes of deception. Benjamin Netanyahu and Mahmoud Abbas agrees to play a game in front of President Obama.
Handshakes of deception. Benjamin Netanyahu and Mahmoud Abbas agrees to play a game in front of President Obama.

Hounded by his moderate supporters and militant rivals alike, PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas is facing a leadership crisis that will make it harder for the Obama administration to draw him into peace talks with Israel.

He made two concessions that ignited fury at home and across the Arab world: First he joined President Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu for a meeting in New York last month to explore prospects for formal talks.

Then last week he agreed, under American pressure, to postpone the Palestinians’ demand for a UN Security Council debate on a UN report accusing Israel of war crimes in Gaza.

While Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has for months offered to resume talks,

«I cannot imagine that Abbas can meet [U.S. envoy] Mitchell and simply agree to resume negotiations with Israel without preconditions», said Mouin Rabbani, a Palestinian political analyst based in Jordan.

My comment:

During my stay in Israel last week, a friend of mine said:

«Something is breeding among the Muslims in Jerusalem. It has been quite for too long».

Radical Islam is not happy with the Fatah president Mahmoud Abbas. When he meet Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in New York, Abbas had not got anything. The PM of Israel had not agreed to stop building in Jewish settlements in Judea and Samaria.

The logic within the Arab Palestinian terrorist movement, has again changed. The present silence has been a product of a wait and watch approach to the Likud lead Israeli Governments relations to the new Obama administrastion. «How much can we get from Benjamin Netanyahu without rocket fire and stones?»

Now, when Netanyahu has managed to stand up during pressure from Washington and London, its time to resume the political agenda of hate and violence. The logic is simple:

«Lets again make life inside Israel a living hell. Obama and Blair will agree to blame the Zionist state for the trouble, and Netanyahu will be forced to make «peace». In the bargain we will get Judea and Samaria, and East Jerusalem».

This is the same logic as the Nazis used during the peace negotiations that ended with the outbreak of Word War II. The moment Chamberlain understood that Hitler was not a man of peace, it was simply to late.
