Benny Hinn: «Shocked» by divorce papers

After more than 30 years of marriage, faith healer Benny Hinn may be heading to divorce court.

The love of money is the root of all evil, also for Benny Hinn.

Benny Hinn Ministries on Thursday confirmed that his wife, Suzanne Hinn, filed a petition for divorce in Orange County Superior Court on 1st of February. She cited irreconcilable differences.

Though the couple separated on Jan. 26th, according to court papers, the organization released a statement expressing shock.

“Pastor Benny Hinn and his immediate family were shocked and saddened to learn of this news without any previous notice,” said Don Price, longtime senior advisor to Benny Hinn Ministries. “Although Pastor Hinn has faithfully endeavored to bring healing to their relationship, those efforts failed and were met with the petition for divorce that was filed without notice».

Just months before the petition, world renowned and controversial preacher Benny Hinn had come out to the public to answer his critics for the first time.

For years, Hinn has been a subject of scrutiny by the media and recently the government for the miraculous healings he claims to perform and the lavish lifestyle he leads. He travels to cities across the globe conducting “miracle crusades” and services. Reports from each event indicate that dozens are miraculously healed from a physical ailment, though Hinn admitted to ABC News recently that he doesn’t have medical verification of the healings.

My comment:

Most Christians have struggles in their marriage, and some Christians will even be forced to leave their non-believing spouses.

A divorce is not the worst that can happen to a preacher man, but that He forfeits his soul. The easiest way to destruction is to become a lover of Money. We are not suppose to preach the gospel as a tool to gain fame or financial wealth.

I have to be honest, and tell brother Benny and his students, that this is exactly what they have done. The irony is that Benny Hinn`s wife will get at least half of the wealth he has stored up on Earth.

Copelands fifth Church aircraft and aid to Haiti hits a snag

Televangelist Kenneth Copeland blasted for «unfulfilled promises».The Prosperity teacher blames technical snags in fleet of private aircrafts.

Kenneth Copeland Ministries has come under fire for failing to fly disaster relief supplies to Haiti’s earthquake victims after allegedly promising aviation assistance in the event of natural disasters.

The international organization, which is also under scrutiny by the Senate Finance Committee for possible abuse of its nonprofit status, has been accused of «unfulfilled» pledges and unaccounted donations.

«While there is a huge crisis going on in the nation of Haiti right now Kenneth Copeland’s promised Angel Flight 44 ministry is nowhere to be found and the money he collected to start that ministry has not been accounted for», said Rich Vermillion, co-author of Angel Flight 44.

CBS News display a cabin with less place for Copeland-aid packages for Haiti.

The Texas-based organization has rejected the allegations, calling them «Misleading» and «potentially damaging misinformation».

«Kenneth Copeland Ministries is one of the premier Christian ministries in the world today and is run with the utmost integrity», it said in a recent statement. «The church has an annual independent audit and there are no funds that have been misused or unaccounted for».

But KCM spokesman Dr. Stephen Swisher told The Christian Post, «This was not a specific promise with a time line attached»

According to Swisher, Angel Flight 44 has collected only $7,788.43 and the donations have been spent on plane repairs. KCM has purchased an aircraft but it “currently has structural issues” and is still “not in airworthy condition.” Also, the spokesman said they are lacking funds to buy a new aircraft (in addition to their four planes).

«However, it is our desire to have an aircraft to fly assistance during disaster relief efforts», Swisher commented. «We are believing God for the finances to have a fleet of aircraft to use during such instances».

For now, the organization has set up a disaster relief fund. Since August 2005, the KCM/EMIC (Eagle Mountain International Church) Disaster Relief Fund has received more than $2.4 million. A little over $2.2 million have been directed for relief to areas affected by recent hurricanes in the U.S. such as Katrina and Rita, the tsunami in Myanmar, fires in California and other storms, according to Swisher.

My comment:

I have no right to criticize Kenneth Copeland for collecting money for Haiti. I have collected non. Neither His decision to purchase a private Jet.

But I have to ask Him why a fleet of five aircraft is needed by his Church?

Copeland Air, or a Church that suffers for the name of Jesus? CBS News pictures.

These kind of money collected by a Church, I guess could have been used in a less fleshy and luxurious way?

Kenneth Copeland Ministry should have sent his Church members traveling Business class around the clock, in stead of spending 100 million dollars on a fleet of private jets.

But I guess they feel the love of money is a lesser evil, than the love of traveling in a more luxurious way than Kings and Queens?

Let me remind the disciples of Copeland, that Jesus the Messiah was not carried on the shoulders of his students, sitting in a leather seat drinking «mocktails» on His way up to Jerusalem.

Global Word of Faith healer dies of cancer

Billy Joe Daugherty died of cancer at the age of 57. He was a teacher of prosperity, and told millions of people that perfect faith would result in perfect health.

Billy Joe Daugherty was the founder of Victory Christian School, International Victory Bible Institute with 911 campuses in 93 countries. He also ministered from Oral Roberts University in Tusla, US.

Victory World Missions Training Center has sent hundreds of missionaries around the world, and the Tulsa Dream Center, providing food, clothing and medical, educational and recreational services.

Daugherty died of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma at 4:40 a.m. Sunday in Houston. Daugherty was hospitalized last month with a viral infection in his throat when tests discovered the cancer.

My comment:

I regret that Billy Joe Daugherty has died of cancer. I hope and pray that Jesus will have mercy on me, and that you will find both Daugherty and me in the Kingdom Heaven.

His own teachings did simply not work.

It has to be said that the name-it-and-claim-it mantra presented as the gospel of Jesus from Nazareth did not work for Billy Joe Daugherty either.

We live in a fallen and polluted World, and anyone of us might be called home to the Lord in young age. Just like Stephen, John the baptist and all the Apostles. All of us face the same sick World. Young or old. We will most likely depart to the Kingdom of Heaven by some kind of sickness.

Paul explains that if he could chose, He would depart today to be with our Master Jesus. In stead of stying put in the flesh, preaching a gospel who promote fleshy desires.

I hope and pray that preaches like Kenneth Copeland and Benny Hinn have learned something from the early departure of our brother Billy Joe Daugherty. And that they will change their ways, and stop preaching the false prosperity gospel of health and wealth.

Pope Siricus source of Apostles creed and Word of Faith Movement

The Apostles Creed that states that Jesus descended into Hell was formed in the Council in Milan about 390 A.D. This was a council held by Pope Siricius.

I guess a Jesus that came up from Hell must have looked like this.
I guess a Jesus that came up from Hell must have looked like this.

Credo in Spiritum Sanctum, sanctam Ecclesiam catholicam, sanctorum communionem, remissionem peccatorum, carnis resurrectionem, vitam aeternam. Amen

Did you understand this?

This was the only official language the Bible was available in for more than 1000 year in the Western Roman Church. If you could understand this, there was not a need to translate the Bible into English.

Do you believe that the original Jewish Word of God were first written down in Hebrew? Do you believe that Jesus native language was Hebrew?

Than there would surely have been a room for errors when Rome translated the scriptures into Latin. Because what you just tried to read was the Apostle Creed written in Latin.

The Roman Catholic Church:

The Catechism of the Catholic Church gives the following English translation of the Apostles’ Creed. In its discussion of the Creed the Catechism maintains the traditional division into twelve articles, the numbering of which is here added to the text.

1. I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
2. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord.
3. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
4. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
5. He descended into hell. On the third day he rose again.
6. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
7. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
8. I believe in the Holy Spirit,
9. the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints,
10. the forgiveness of sins,
11. the resurrection of the body,
12. and the life everlasting.
Amen.

The Lutheran Church:

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
and born of the virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
who was crucified, died and was buried.
He descended into hell.
and on the third day He rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven
and sits at the right hand of the Father.
From thence He will come to judge the living and the dead.

The Charismatic Church, non-denominational Lighthouse Church of Kuwait: (from their statement of faith)

«He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into the heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead».

«The Papal system» is the mother of all errors into Biblical Christianity. A Jesus that descended into Hell, and rose from Hell after three day, is a copy-cat Jesus. You can call Him «Jesus of Rome» or «Jesus of US dollars» does not matter. They both works out of the Abyss, and not out of Heaven.

The book of Revelation explains:

Revelation 16:12.14

«Then I saw three evil spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet. They are spirits of demons performing miraculous signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty».

Frogs that comes out of the Abyss multiply very fast. In the Charismatic Churches it multiplies by «soaking».
Frogs that comes out of the Abyss multiply very fast. In the Charismatic Churches they multiplies by «soaking». Now it has reached all the Kingdoms on Earth.

When false teachers in the Word of Faith movements put their hands on you, these frogs are released up on you. Lets take a look on some of their demonic teachings about a «Jesus» that descended into Hell, and rose from Hell.

Frederick K.C. Price:

The false propertity gospel that has come up from the Abyss
The false propertity gospel that has come up from the Abyss

«Do you think that the punishment for our sin was to die on a cross? If that were the case, the two thieves could have paid your price. No, the punishment was to go into hell itself and to serve time in hell separated from God…Satan and all the demons of hell thought that they had Him bound and they threw a net over Jesus and they dragged Him down to the very pit of hell itself to serve our sentence».

Another modern word of faith teacher Kenneth Hagin, who’s teaching is also based on the interpolation found in the present Creed, teaches that:

«He [Jesus] tasted spiritual death for every man. And His spirit and inner man went to hell in my place. Can’t you see that? Physical death wouldn’t remove your sins. He’s tasted death for every man. He’s talking about tasting spiritual death»

Kenneth Copeland the most known of all the word of faith teachers, asserts:

«When Jesus cried, ‘It is finished!’ He was not speaking of the plan of redemption. There were still three days and nights to go through before He went to the throne…Jesus’ death on the cross was only the beginning of the complete work of redemption».

Kenneth Copeland and Oral Roberts, both teach about a False Messiah
Kenneth Copeland and Oral Roberts, both teach you about a False Messiah

Do you still wounder why Word of Faith teachers like Benny Hinn once travelled to Rome to embrace the Pope?
