Building new Solomon’s Temple by robbing in the name of “Jesus”

Universal Church of the Kingdom of God builds God’s temple by robbing people in Brazil.

A copy-cat Zion, build by World of faith preachers of prosperity in Brazil.

The controversial movement, based in Brazil. The movement also uses the name ”Stop Suffering.” Promotes word-faith teachings, with a particular emphasis on the seed-faith doctrine.

The controversial Universal Church of the Kingdom of God in Sao Paulo Brazil has received permission to build a new church building and it will be a replica of Solomon’s Temple.  At a cost of $200 million, it will seat 10,000 people and house a replica of the Ark of the Covenant.

Since its theology and practices are far outside those of normal, biblical Christianity, this movement is considered to be a cult of Christianity.

Believers are promised healing and riches – for a price. The more one gives, the more miracles one will reap, The Post heard preachers say in church branches in four boroughs.

‘Give USD 500, USD 100, USD 50,” a Brooklyn bishop pleaded recently in a branch in a converted movie house on Fourth Avenue in the Boerum Hill section of Brooklyn. ”When you give freely, you will prosper.”

In Woodside, Queens, a pastor bellows out to his followers: ”Unless you give, you cannot be blessed.”

Regina Cerveira, the Universal Church’s chancellor and spiritual administrator in New York, insists that a higher donation doesn’t buy a better blessing.

”A person who gives $500 is not going to get more blessings than someone who just gives USD 100.”

But ex-pastor Mario Justino said that during a decade of preaching for the Universal Church in Brazil, Portugal and Brooklyn, his superiors instructed him to ”tell the people, ‘If you don’t give, God does not look at your problems.”’
Holy-roller church cashes in on faithful, New York Post, July 23, 2000

It claims to offer protection from black magic and attracts millions of followers. But the murder of Anna Climbie – in one of Britain’s worst ever cases of child abuse – has raised troubling questions about the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God.
(…)

The Universal Church has already got into trouble over its claim that evil spirits are the cause of people’s woes. In 1997, the Advertising Standards Authority banned a church poster that said: ”Constant headaches, depression, insomnia, fears, bad luck, strange diseases . . . These are just a few symptoms caused by demons.”

But now the deliverance service has dragged the church into its darkest controversy yet. It was to one of these services that eight-year-old Anna Climbie, the little girl who died of hypothermia after being tied up in a bathtub in one of Britain’s worst ever cases of child abuse, was to have been taken by her adoptive mother, Marie Kouao.

My comment:

Many scoffers will come using the Bible to extort money, and to demonize all kind of issues.  They also appear on so-called Christian TV, and shouts “praise Jesus” and “Halleluja”.

Jesus the Messiah gave us a stern warning:

 Matthew 24:4-5
Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.

Paula White replaced prosperity drug-death-pastor Zachery Tims

On the day after Zachery Tims’ funeral, evangelist Paula White preached a Sunday sermon.

Prosperity gospel preacher Zachery Tims died of an overdose of drugs on a Manhattan Hotel.

Florida megachurch pastor Zachery Tims was found dead in a New York City hotel room on Friday, according to police.

A white powdery substance believed to be narcotics was discovered on the body, The Wall Street Journal reports.

New York City police said 42-year-old Orlando pastor was found dead on the floor of a room at the W Hotel in Times Square late Friday afternoon. There was no criminal activity suspected. The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.

On the day after Zachery Tims’ funeral, evangelist Paula White preached a Sunday sermon to the congregation that the outside world will be watching to see whether New Destiny Christian Center can survive without its inspirational, dynamic founder.

Prosperity preacher Paula White replaced Tims in his pulpit.

“New Destiny, it’s not just about you any longer. It’s about the nation watching you. It’s about how you are going to respond, about what you are going to do,” said White, pastor of Without Walls International Church in Tampa.

My comment:

Who was pastor Zachery Tims?

He was a preacher of the Prosperity gospel, and a believer in the Word of Faith doctrines. This is what a website has recorded:

Tims’ gospel, which I have heard in person, was not established upon biblical doctrine, but is that of the human desire for health, wealth and self-esteem.

(ROMANS 16:17-18) The Word of Faith gospel. The Trinity Broadcasting Network gospel.

A gospel which is a combination of Pentecostalism and the Faith Movement, whose root teachings stem from a 19th century New Thought cult made popular by E.W. Kenyon. After Kenyon came Kenneth Hagin, Oral Roberts and A.A. Allen.

Then came Kenneth Copeland, Benny Hinn, T.D. Jakes and Creflo Dollar. And is now a gospel being proclaimed to the world through all forms of media and literary art by their sons and daughters of the Word of Faith movement such as Paula White, Joel Osteen, and, the recently deceased Zachery Tims.

I have earlier warned about the false Jesus, presented by the Word of Faith movement, The “ATM Jesus”, who promises good return for those who give cash to the teachers of the prosperity gospel.

If you are not born again from above, and submit to Jesus of the Bible, you will become a religious person. You will pretend to be blessed, rich and perfect. But the light of the World is not reigning in your heart.

Claim he lost daughter to the devil, vowed revenge

The daughter of Rodney Howard-Browne died. “Catch the fire” preacher vowed revenge.

A lady catch the fire, coming from the anointing of Howard Rodney Browne.

On Christmas eve in 2002, the 18-year-old daughter of Rodney Howard-Browne died of a lung decease.

The sad death of Kelly Howard-Browne  was covered by an article in the March 05, 2003 edition of Charisma Magazine, the major magazine of the Charismatic movement in the US.

Rodney Howard-Browne believed His daughter had a demonic sickness, still she went home to Heaven without being healed.  After Kelly had departed, Howard-Browne also tried to raise her “from the dead”. He did not manage.

The Word of Faith preacher gave an interesting statement, recorded in Charisma:

“My daughter dying is the worst career move the devil could have made. We’re going after 100 million souls, and he will pay.”

You can read more details around the death of Kelly, on this site.

My comment:

My motive is not to dig into the family tragedies of Rodney Howard-Browne. I have deep respect for all who mourn over their loved once, those who prayed for healing of their children, and desired to see them get a long life on Earth.

But I will question the logic of Howard-Browne, and the theology he represent.

If Kelly is home in Heaven, how come this is presented by Howard-Browne as a victory for the devill?

What is it Howard-Browne feels the devil have to pay for?

Is Satan more powerful than Jesus?

What kind of spirit makes Howard-Browne give an public oat to take revenge?

If we turn this statement around, it looks like Howard-Browne did not want the soul of His daughter to return to Heaven.  It looks like this Word of Faith preacher have made“god” of this present word, His master.  A long life in the flesh, is his version of “Christianity”.

Many Charismatic preachers teach that only cursed people leave this planet because of sicknesses at an early age. They link sicknesses directly to demonic influence and control.

If Kelly was cursed, so is her father.

I looks like Howard-Browne’s “Lord Jesus”, lost his daughters soul, and that the devil scored a victory.

To base faith on such theology, is a spiritual disaster. Both for Howard-Browne and all who have accepted the anointing that rest up on him.  It looks like Howard-Browne tried to drive demons out of his own saved daughter, but failed.

Another aspect of the recorded statement of Howard-Browne, is that He did not have enough faith to get his own daughter healed. Nor did his daughter have enough faith to get healed.

We might not get a better proof that the Word of faith movement is representing a false Christianity. They are the promoters of a parallel kingdom, that leads people into deception.  Paul the Jewish apostle warns us about men who will come and promote copy-cats.

 2 Corinthians 11:4
For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough.

Run away from such people. Do never let them touch you, nor pray for you to accept the spirit they walk in.

The Father did not reject the Son on the cross

False teachers claim that The Father rejected the Son on the cross. Psalm 22 gives the answer.

Jesus gaines eternal victory over Satan on the cross. His offer is accepted by the Father.

Jesus the Messiah had to fulfill the Psalms, the Law and the Prophetic Word when He carried our sins to the cross.

False teachers in the Word of Faith Movement teach that Jesus was rejected by His father on the Cross. That Jesus had to die spiritually, and was sent to Hell to be tormented by Satan.

Teachers like Kenneth Hagin, Creflo Dollar, Benny Hinn and Kenneth Copeland are deadly wrong. They teach a doctrine taught by demons. Their gospel leads the flock astray.

Psalm 22 gives the answer. Using this psalm, Jesus cries out to His Father.  And His Father responded.

 Psalm: 22:1

My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? Why are You so far from helping Me.

Psalm 22: 16-18.

16 For dogs have surrounded Me;
The congregation of the wicked has enclosed Me.
         They pierced My hands and My feet;
17 I can count all My bones.
They look and stare at Me.
18 They divide My garments among them,
And for My clothing they cast lots.

Psalm 24:

For He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; Nor has He hidden His face from Him.But when He cried to Him, He heard.

King James version.

To proclaim a Son that was rejected by the Father, is to proclaim a false Messiah. A Son that is not equally God as His Father. Such teachings end in a Satanic inspired conclusion: That on the cross Jesus was merely a man, not God.

The truth is that Jesus won victory on the cross. His perfect sin offering was accepted by the Father, and the devil was forever robed from any power over the children of God. In the Son there is no condemnation, and eternal life.

Colossians 1:19-21
For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

Colossians 2:15
And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.
