Women counter armed robber in Jesus Name!

A masked gunman who attempted to rob a group of women inside a Lake City home Friday night may have got more than he bargained for.

Lake City police say Derek Lee, 24, entered a house on Lakeview Avenue where the homeowner had 14 women over for a jewelry party. Police say Lee was wearing a dark ski cap on his head along with a bandana across his face. He allegedly showed a gun and ordered the women to hand over their money and phones.

One woman who thought it was a party gag pushed his hand aside while laughing saying, “It’s only a water gun.” Police say Lee (pictured, right) held the gun to that woman’s head and said, “I’m not joking, I’m going to shoot someone, give me your money.”

Jacquie Hagler, who owns the house, says she then put her faith into action.

“When I realized what was going on, I stood up and said, ‘In the name of Jesus, get out of my house now.’ And he said, ‘I’m going to shoot someone.’ And I said it again, real boldly,” Hagler said. “Everybody started chanting, ‘Jesus, Jesus, Jesus,’ and he did a quick scan of the room, and ran out the door as fast as he could go.”

Lee is also being investigated for an attempted robbery at a nearby ATM that happened moments prior to the home invasion.

My Comment:

“In the name of JESUS, anything is possible.”

It is a simple and powerful statement. It is also the complete truth. This is not the first story I have read, where my King has protected those who believe and call him. I have witnessed the Lord manifest himself in so many ways (all Glory goes to him.)

Mark 16:16-18

Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

I am a witness to the above verse, and to that fact that Jesus loves me truly. I have seen demons cast out in his name, and I have seen even my own mother protected from a person who wished to attack her. She called out for Jesus, and Our King protected her. All Glory goes to Jesus always, because without him nothing is possible.

2 Timothy 3:1-5

But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.

The days are getting worse, where crimes will become more frequent. Our Messiah is near. Turn to him, no matter what comes today or tomorrow, turn to him. While there is breath in our lungs, turn to him.

Messianic Jews sends New Covenant to members of Knesset

MKs incensed by mailing of New Testaments to the Knesset by Messianic Judaism institution.

Likud — I have deep respect for this Israeli politician’s support of Zionism. I hope she will read the Brit Hadasha, and understand that the Messiah loves her.

Many MKs opened their mailboxes on Monday morning and were appalled to find a New Testament inside, sent to them by a messianic organization.

The Bible Society in Israel, a messianic Judaism institution for research, publication and dissemination of holy books, sent a “Book of Testaments,” which combines the Tanach and New Testament in one, leather-bound volume, published with references in Hebrew for the first time.

While the sect incorporates elements of religious Jewish practice, it holds that Jesus is the Messiah.

MK Tzipi Hotovely (Likud) sent a letter of complaint to Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin, writing that “it cannot be that missionary materials can be distributed in the Knesset.”

“Texts that were used to persecute and harass [Jews] cannot be distributed through the front door of the State of Israel,” Hotovely fumed.

Christian Allies Caucus chairman MK David Rotem (Yisrael Beytenu) said the mailing is “not missionary work, but an act of foolishness.”

Shas MK Nissim Ze’ev did not receive a package, but said the society had crossed the line between free speech and proselytizing.

“These are people who believe that all the Jews in Israel must be converted to Christianity. They get donations from all over the world towards that cause. How can we give them freedom?” Ze’ev, one of the few Shas MKs who is an ordained rabbi, asked.

Ze’ev called for more government- sponsored activities and television programming to teach youth Jewish values “so Christians don’t fill the vacuum.”

In addition, the Shas MK said the existing law against missionaries should be stricter.

The 1977 law, passed one year after the New Testament was published in modern Hebrew for the first time, prohibits anyone from granting material benefits as an inducement to conversion or to convert anyone under 18 unless one parent is a member of that religion.

The Knesset staff does not intervene in the handling of MKs’ mail, and as such the Knesset Spokesman’s Office had no comment.

The book was accompanied by a letter from Bible Society head Victor Kalisher, stating that he is proud to present the new publication featuring 90,000 annotations, which resulted from cooperation between researchers in Israel and abroad “that love the holy texts.”

“Through these annotations, you can see the close connection between the words of the Torah and those of the New Testament,” Kalisher wrote.

“Many of the Torah’s prophecies come true in the New Testament.”

Kalisher told The Jerusalem Post that some MKs already received books, and he plans to eventually send them to all 120 legislators, including ministers and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.

When asked if he would send New Testaments to haredi politicians, Kalisher said: “Every enlightened man expects others to respect the Torah, and should show respect for other religions.” At the same time, the Bible Society head said he did not mean to offend anyone by sending the books.

“This is a tool to promote communication and understanding for the People of the Book,” Kalisher stated.

When asked why the People of the Book need a different religion’s book as a tool, Kalisher responded that it is “arguable if it is a [Jewish] book or not, because the New Testament is written by Jews.

Every Jew should learn it to understand Judaism better.”

“We are an organization that researches holy books,” he said. “We are not missionaries.

We are promoting holy books as an illuminating tool. Most people in the world who support [Israel] do so because of this background [the New Testament], and this will help MKs communicate with them.”

However, despite stating that he is not a missionary, Kalisher said his intention in sending the copies of the New Testament is “to spread the word of God.”

My comment:

I have the deepest respect for MK Tzipi Hotovely. I share her views on Zionism, and believe we all have to serve God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel.

I can also understand her anger, correctly claiming that many people have harmed Jews in the name of “Jesus”.

The challenge is obviously to read the New Covenant, and search for verses that can permit any follower of the Messiah to harm a Jew.

There is non.

So if anyone has harmed a Jew using the Brit Hadasha, found in the New Testament, He or she is making a mockery out of the true Messianic faith.

This is the problem. Many Jews have taken a stand against the Messiah, because of what false “Christians” have done against the Jewish people.

The New covenant should not be a “foreign” affair for the Jews. The promise of the perfect forgiveness of sins, is found in their own Hebrew Bible:

Jeremiah 31:31-34

“The time is coming,” declares the Lord,  “when I will make a new covenant  with the house of Israel  and with the house of Judah. 

It will not be like the covenant I made with their forefathers  when I took them by the hand  to lead them out of Egypt,  because they broke my covenant,  though I was a husband to them, ” declares the Lord. 

“This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel  after that time,” declares the Lord. “

I will put my law in their minds  and write it on their hearts.  I will be their God,  and they will be my people.

No longer will a man teach his neighbor,  or a man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me,  from the least of them to the greatest,” declares the Lord. 

“For I will forgive their wickedness  and will remember their sins no more.”

Now it is time for all Jews to read their own sacred scriptures. and for them selves to see the love the Messiah Jesus has for His own chosen people.

I hope and pray that many members of the Knesset will be willing to give Yeshua (Jesus) a fair chance, by simply reading His words.

Police told chaplains not to pray in Jesus’ name

Police in North Carolina (US) has banned priests from paring to Jesus on public events.

Volunteer chaplains who serve the officers of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) in North Carolina have been told that they are no longer permitted to pray in the name of Jesus at public events.

Chaplains have been used for years in the department to not only support the officers, crime victims and their families, but to also offer prayers at public ceremonies and events. Terry Sartain, senior pastor of Horizon Christian Fellowship and a CMPD chaplain, was scheduled to pray at a recent promotion ceremony, but he backed out after he was told he could no longer pray in Jesus’ name at public events or on public property.

The phone call he received about the policy change was “nice,” he says, and he was offered the opportunity to withdraw “because they really respect my faith and the work that I’ve done as a chaplain.” Sartain has worked with the CMPD for seven years.
“I understand the government’s position, it’s just I don’t like it. I hate it, but I’m not going to compromise,” Sartain told The Christian Post on Thursday.

My comment:

The last days will be full of lawlessness. In the sense that few will have any respect for God’s laws, and even fewer will obey them.
The first followers of Jesus inside Israel faced the same problems as they now face in Charlotte in North Carolina.

Now, people will be faced with a choice. Do you want to submit to the lawlessness of men, or will you obey Jesus?

The Kingdom of Heaven belongs to the witnesses, not to all who keep mum about their faith. If your life is ruled by fear of men, you are not worthy of being called a follower of Jesus. The Messiah said: – First, count the costs. Than come follow me. Do not look back.

Two more venerated skeleton’s in Rome

“These relics were protected and venerated in their entirety at a very early point in history”.

Rome2 — A venerable "saint" found in a crypt in a Roman Catholic Church in Northern Italy.

This is the claim from The Roman Catholic Church. The bones found in a crypt in Northern Italy, has been carbon tested. The bones dated back to between 80AD and 340AD.

The Vatican claim that the bones are relics having belonged to Chrysanthus and Daria, two Roman Catholic “saints” who reportedly died in 283 A.D.

Workers found more than 300 bones in one of the sealed crypts, of The cathedral in Reggio Emilia.

Rome1 — The two latest "holy skeletons" in the Roman Catholic Church, carbon tested in August 2011.

The scientists conceded there was no way to identify the skeletons with complete certainty but said ‘all of the evidence we have gathered points toward the relics having belonged to Chrysanthus and Daria.

‘This has been a very rare opportunity to be able to study bones and other relics that relate directly back to a legend that has been passed on for almost 2,000 years.

‘The completeness of the skeletons is also rare for martyrs of this era, implying that these relics were protected and venerated in their entirety at a very early point in history.’

Auxiliary Bishop Lorenzo Ghizzoni of Reggio Emilia had acknowledged the findings could be a major problem.

‘We might discover that these relics are fake. That would be a huge problem for us,’ he said.

‘If we find out we have bones like that, then we have to throw them out, destroy them. That would certainly be a scandal for the faithful.’

The two bodies represented an extraordinary opportunity because there were almost two complete skeletons, giving a lot of material to work with. Often relic bones are progressively removed and kept as spiritual tokens.

My comment:

Bones removed from the grave, are nothing but an act of wicked grave looters.

For the Roman Catholic Church, all kinds of truths are relative.

Also the age and identity of the bones that their priests have collected.

Since there were no DNA taken of Chrysanthus and Daria, how will we ever come to know where their skeletons are?

And what is the point, finding them, and venerating them?

There is a 260 years gap in the scientific evidence presented by Rome. These bones can be the remains of eight generations of ancient Italians.

The claims of Vatican does not stand the trial of ay court. Nor does it impress anyone who have a minimum of common sense.

This fact does not bother the Vatican, who will keep on venerating and adoring skulls, bones and corpses, regardless of what Christians might tell them.

“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean.

Even the warning from Jesus, will have no impact on Roman Catholics. They will do what the Pope tells them, and what the Cannon Laws say is blessed and permissible.
