Two more venerated skeleton’s in Rome

“These relics were protected and venerated in their entirety at a very early point in history”.

A venerable "saint" found in a crypt in a Roman Catholic Church in Northern Italy.

This is the claim from The Roman Catholic Church. The bones found in a crypt in Northern Italy, has been carbon tested. The bones dated back to between 80AD and 340AD.

The Vatican claim that the bones are relics having belonged to Chrysanthus and Daria, two Roman Catholic “saints” who reportedly died in 283 A.D.

Workers found more than 300 bones in one of the sealed crypts, of The cathedral in Reggio Emilia.

The two latest "holy skeletons" in the Roman Catholic Church, carbon tested in August 2011.

The scientists conceded there was no way to identify the skeletons with complete certainty but said ‘all of the evidence we have gathered points toward the relics having belonged to Chrysanthus and Daria.

‘This has been a very rare opportunity to be able to study bones and other relics that relate directly back to a legend that has been passed on for almost 2,000 years.

‘The completeness of the skeletons is also rare for martyrs of this era, implying that these relics were protected and venerated in their entirety at a very early point in history.’

Auxiliary Bishop Lorenzo Ghizzoni of Reggio Emilia had acknowledged the findings could be a major problem.

‘We might discover that these relics are fake. That would be a huge problem for us,’ he said.

‘If we find out we have bones like that, then we have to throw them out, destroy them. That would certainly be a scandal for the faithful.’

The two bodies represented an extraordinary opportunity because there were almost two complete skeletons, giving a lot of material to work with. Often relic bones are progressively removed and kept as spiritual tokens.

My comment:

Bones removed from the grave, are nothing but an act of wicked grave looters.

For the Roman Catholic Church, all kinds of truths are relative.

Also the age and identity of the bones that their priests have collected.

Since there were no DNA taken of Chrysanthus and Daria, how will we ever come to know where their skeletons are?

And what is the point, finding them, and venerating them?

There is a 260 years gap in the scientific evidence presented by Rome. These bones can be the remains of eight generations of ancient Italians.

The claims of Vatican does not stand the trial of ay court. Nor does it impress anyone who have a minimum of common sense.

This fact does not bother the Vatican, who will keep on venerating and adoring skulls, bones and corpses, regardless of what Christians might tell them.

 Matthew 23:27
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean.

Even the warning from Jesus, will have no impact on Roman Catholics. They will do what the Pope tells them, and what the Cannon Laws say is blessed and permissible.

  1. Christ is of no affect to these people…they are a law unto their-selves as well as a god unto their-selves..they lay burdens upon others all the while they take joy in the sins of wickedness…they are not known nor do they want to be known only in the higher places to appease and gain power in their own eyes from men. They are a sick bred, who will be and have been a cruel, well accepted cult. It’s high time their ‘grave-digging’ is brought to light! And all their hideous tools of darkness to trap, deceive, rape and murder and yes mutilate people too ignorant to no any better while they are seeking The Lord…these are told to seek Mary..or someone dead…IT’S JESUS they need…I am so glad their deeds of darkness is being brought to light…Thank you…they take the power to ‘make dead people saints when Christ paid a high price for all men, women and children of all nations, tongues and languages..,. My prayer for the deceived and blinded are Ephesians 1-17-23: 2:1-22..and the leaders of these cultish Catholic groups need to REPENT! Without The Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God,..all are DEAD waiting for their name to be called to enter the Gate of Hell for Eternity…(He is the God of the Living, not the dead!)

    1. Dear Andrea

      Shalom.

I feel this has little to do with ignorance. Many Catholic Bishops are men with lot of knowledge, also about the Bible.

This has to do with spiritual bondage. The false “Holy spirit” that comes up from the bottomless pit, takes you captive. The fruits of such captivity is among others, spiritual blindness. Other fruits is obedience to an anti-Christ in the Vatican.

Many Men who have signed into the Roman Catholic priesthood, lust after each other. They hide their sins, because its to shameful to tell. The RCC is a mad house, a house of demons. The worst perverts in the priesthood rape Catholic children. And men still present them as “holy”.

  2. Oh you hit it on the nail …it is a House of Demons indeed. But soon very soon this will be over.. though I pray so, knowing what lays a head for them, I don’t take any delight in their deaths..yet in ignorance they will come to their self and/or have their eyes opened.

  3. The practice or relics is quite Biblical. Mark 5:27 and surrounding verses recount the story of the woman with a hemorrhage who was healed by touching Jesus’ cloak. Acts 5:15 tells of people bringing sick people out to the street as Peter passed so that his shadow would fall upon them and Acts 19:11-12 mentions that cloths that Paul touched were carried to sick people and they were cured. I appreciate that these weren’t body parts, but they were definitely relics.

Because those whose bones they were, have been the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit of Christ, through Whose grace they have been conformed to Christ in a particularly excellent degree. They are not just saints – for all Christians are that: they are Christ-like saints: which some of us are not.

And, the body is particularly important in Christianity – for when God came among men, He came embodied as a man. The Resurrection of Christ is the unshakeable proof that the dead will be raised, and their bodies will be conformed to His Glorious Body. In the Saints, this is beginning to happen: their holiness is a foretaste of the glory of the Resurrection.

So these are not just bits of stiffs – they are the mortal remains of Christ-like children of God. Of themselves, they are nothing, and are without value: there is no inherent power in them at all. All their value comes from their having been made holy by God; for this reason, they are worth more than any amount of gold. It is appropriate to honour them, not because they are bones, but because they are made holy by and for Christ Christ has effects on what He saves – He created all things, including the human body, and the overflowing of His holiness from the souls of men into their bodies, is evidence of His saving power. During the persecutions, early Christians often had to celebrate Mass in secret. Sometimes they had to gather in the catechombs and cemetaries, literally standing on the bones of the martyrs that died before them.

Have you seen the movie, Life of Brian? Do you remember the collectors of the sandals of Brian? They would today be “the sandal cult”

The Roman Catholic Church is a cult. The biggest one in the World,

No one collected the handkerchiefs of Paul and Peters, and claimed them to be “holy”. God of the Bible is not a cult fellow, who copy-cat miracles on the demands of men. Those who collect items from dead men, bow before them and declare them to be “holy”, are spiritual blind, and understand nothing.

  4. You Quote
“Have you seen the movie, Life of Brian? Do you remember the collectors of the sandals of Brian? They would today be “the sandal cult”

What does a British Comedy movie has to do with anything with the Catholic Church??? Thats not a fact or a support any answer to truth!!

You say its cult but 90% of the world information that objective understanding is going to say Catholicism is a Christian denomination and the largest one and not a cult……….no matter what you say or what you think you can prove!! So jow are you going to challenge such a giant????

    1. Dear Raymond.

      Shalom.

      My reply:

Just take a fresh look in the mirror. Can you see one of the “followers” of Brian in you? What kinds of relics are your priests collecting? Have they found a bone or a skull recently, and put it up for veneration in your local Church?

May be you should take a look down in the crypt?

  5. Cults ask you to submit your full will and intellect to the cult leader. The Pope asks the same:

    From Lumen Gentium/ 1964

This loyal submission of the will and intellect must be given, in a special way, to the authentic teaching authority of the Roman Pontiff, even when he does not speak ex cathedra in such wise, indeed, that his supreme teaching authority be acknowledged with respect, and sincere assent be given to decisions made by him, conformably with his manifest mind and intention, which is made known principally either by the character of the documents in question, or by the frequency with which a certain doctrine is proposed, or by the manner in which the doctrine is formulated.

    1. Dear Sue.

      Shalom.

I agree with you. No Christian leader can claim to be the highest authority of Christendom on Earth, and the final authority in understanding the scriptures. That is the work of the Holy Spirit. He is the vicar of Christ. The RRC claim of the authority of the Pope is blasphemy. The Pope is a cult leader, and an anti-Christ in flesh.

      1. Lumen Gentium #25

        25. Among the more important duties of BISHOPS that of preaching the Gospel has pride of place.[39] For the bishops are heralds of the faith, who draw new disciples to Christ; they are authentic teachers, that is, teachers endowed with the authority of Christ, who preach the faith to the people assigned to them, the faith which is destined to inform their thinking and direct their conduct; and under the light of the Holy Spirit they make that faith shine forth, drawing from the storehouse of revelation new things and old (cf. Mt. 13:52); they make it bear fruit and with watchfulness they ward off whatever errors threaten their flock (cf. 2 Tim. 4-14). Bishops who teach in communion with the Roman Pontiff are to be revered by all as witnesses of divine and Catholic truth; the faithful, for their part, are obliged to submit to their bishops’ decision, made in the name of Christ, in matters of faith and morals, and to adhere to it with a ready and respectful allegiance of mind.

This area was bishops Sue!!! Don’t give portion of document?!?! That did not prove anything!!! Don’t use a Movie Ivar…..NOT a very good proof or source…..very illogical!

        My reply:

I know you will submit to the Pope. It do not matter to you, what the Bible says is correct or not. Roman Catholics come to this site all the time. I hope and pray that this site will be used by Jesus to open your eyes. That is my prayer. I have not a single Roman Catholic to loose. I want to see you all changed by the Holy Spirit, and to be found home in Heaven.

  6. Dear Raymond.

Raymond, please read this quote again. It is talking about the FAITHFUL submitting and that includes you:

the faithful, for their part, are obliged to submit to their bishops’ decision, made in the name of Christ, in matters of faith and morals, and to adhere to it with a ready and respectful allegiance of mind. This loyal submission of the will and intellect must be given, in a special way, to the authentic teaching authority of the Roman Pontiff,
    (end of quote)

You are to submit to the bishop AND the Roman Pontiff. It is all very clear. Raymond, you are not to give your highest facilities (your will and intellect) over to any PERSON. Only God should you submit to, never any man.
Cults do ask this of their followers, because to hand over your will, is to let that person have control over your life. Only Jesus Christ should have control over your life. Can you see how this is very dangerous and enslaving? You are in bondagage to another human being who has control over you and your life. Enslavement is not of God, Raymond. He has come to set you free and He has sent the Holy Spirit to be your vicar, not a man. No mere created being can EVER be His substitute on earth. He left to give us this Spirit to guide us to all truth.

    1. Let me ask you question? Do you guys go to Church? Do listen to your pastor’s and listen to their preaching and even follow there teachings? Isn’t that following and in way submitting to an example? Are not Pastor’s entrusted to a faithful teachings of the Christian way???? Think about?

  7. Dear Raymond,

    Blessings.

The Pastor must follow the Word of God. If he does not follow and preach the word of God, you get up and walk out.

I will submit to scripture, Raymond. But not a man, claiming that the magisterium and sacred “Tradition” is on par with the authority of the bible.

Anything that contradicts scripture should be rejected.. the Bereans did not except whatever Paul said. Paul praised them for questioning him and for searching the scriptures for the truth. Man will fail you every time. But the Word will never lie or come back void.

    http://bible.cc/acts/17-11.htm

    1. But doesn’t the Bible contradicts itself??? Hmmmm…………For Example!!!

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not from you; it is the gift of God; it is not by works, so no one may boast.”~ Ephesians 2:8-9.

“What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him?… See how a person is justified by works and not by faith alone.” ~James 2:14,24.

I haven’t found anything in the Bible that says it should be used as the only authority. The Bible itself came from tradition by oral instructions passed on generation to generations before it went to paper and pen, as it wasn’t even considered complete in its present form for many years after the death of all of the apostles. We had to trust somebody for its authenticity and completeness. I have found in the scriptures the exhortation to follow proper traditions, whether written or spoken.

PLUS!!!! THE COMPLETED CANON OF SCRIPTURE WAS RECOGNIZED IN THE SECOND CENTURY!! Research these FACTS!!!

Christian leaders in the second century recognized the canon of the New Testament and accepted the apostolic writings as Holy Scripture on equal authority with the Old Testament. God gave them wisdom in this process and they did not need to wait for the statements of councils that came centuries later (Jn. 16:13; 17:8; 1 Thess. 2:13; 1 Jn. 2:20).

Irenaeus (125-192), for example, in his extant writings, made 1,800 quotations from the New Testament books and used them “in such a way as to imply that they had for some time been considered as of unquestioned authority” (Herbert Miller, General Biblical Introduction, p. 140). Irenaeus accepted the four Gospels, and four only, as Scripture.

Clement of Alexandria (150-217) quoted from and acknowledged the four Gospels and most other New Testament books, calling them “divine Scriptures.”

Tertullian (150-220) made 7,200 citations from the New Testament books and accepted them as Scripture.

The Latin Itala translation, which was probably made in the second century, “contained all the books that now make up the New Testament” (John Hentz, History of the Lutheran Version, p. 59).

A list of New Testament Scriptures dating to the latter half of the second century was discovered in the Ambrosian Library in Milan, Italy, in 1740. This second-century list contains all of the 27 books of the New Testament canon (Hentz, p. 60).

Thus the completed New Testament Scriptures were being circulated and accepted by God’s people under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Many of the modernistic textual scholars who write today about these early centuries deny, or totally overlook, the working of the Holy Spirit in the inspiration and canonicity of the New Testament. The Apostles were not left to their own devices to transcribe the record of Christ, nor were the early Christians left to their own devices to recognize which writings were Scripture (1 Thess. 2:13). The words of the New Testament are the words of the Lord Jesus Christ through divine inspiration, and the Lord’s sheep know the voice of their Good Shepherd and can discern His voice from false shepherds (John 10:4, 5, 27).

      1. Dear Raymond.

        Reply:

Its amazing that you mixes up verses from the Bible and your own comments, in a bid to lead us to believe in the Roman Catholic gospel of salvation by works.

        James 2:14
What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them?

        James 2:24
You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone.

        (end of scriptures)

James express that only the “good deed” of Jesus on the cross can save us. Our own deeds can not save us. We still do good deeds because we are saved, because we love Jesus. Not to get saved. Salvation comes from faith in Jesus alone, by the blood of the Lamb of God alone.

The blood of Jesus is a gift from God, just like Paul explains in Ephesians 2:8-9. The blood and works of men can not save anyone.
