Copies of Jesus in the Christian landscape

Jesus warned us not to follow copies. There would come false teachers and lead people astray. Yes, even the very elect, if possible .

Copies of Jesus often rejects either the Lion or the lamb. — Copies of Jesus often rejects either the Lion or the lamb of God.

It is important to be on our guard against copies of Jesus, that operates in the Christian landscape, and even are proclaimed inside “Christian” assemblies .

Paul talks about Jesus copies . So this is a serious issue, as Christians must assemblies not slide under the carpet.

2 Corinthians 11:4-6

For those tolerated very well so that someone comes and preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or that they receive a different spirit from the one they have not received, or another gospel, which they have taken the opposite. But I believe that I am not in any way less than these super-apostles . If I may be rude in speech arts , I am not without knowledge, and I have always and in every piece presented to you.What are the characteristics of a copy of Jesus?

Basically will all copies of Jesus lack both the nature and character of God as He is presented in the Bible. Many claim to know ” Jesus “, but have accepted and follows a copy . We must all take note of what Jesus says in Matthew 7: 21-23 :

Not everyone who says to Me , ‘Lord , Lord, ‘ will enter the kingdom of heaven , but he who makes it my Father in heaven wants. Many will say to Me in that day , ‘Lord , Lord ! Have we not spoken prophecy of thy name , cast out evil spirits in thy name done many mighty deeds in your name ? ‘ Then I’ll say it straight out : ‘ I never knew you. Go away from me , you evil doers ! ‘

We must be able to distinguish between “ God can “ and ” God wants “ . Whoever knows God knows that ” God can .” He could , for example, have prevented that John the Baptist was beheaded . God could also intervene and he prevented that Stephen was stoned . But those who in these days said that good came to save the life of the Baptist or the disciple, were not conveying the will of God. Such people were false prophets, and easy to expose.

Anyone who says that Jesus “can do everything”, must be careful. Jesus can for example not lie . Jesus can not go against the Word. Jesus must on the contrary fulfill all the prophecies . Jesus can not save those who refuse to accept salvation. If He did, He would have set aside the Word.

Jesus is Holy . We can never deny this . If you refuse to repent from sin so that Jesus can not change your life , you are not one of the true followers of Jesus . Many people take pleasure in sin, some even bless sin. Such people mock a Holy God.

There was , for instance, funny in this election campaign , to listen to those who claimed that all Christians had to vote for the party “ The Christians “ . We got right that the party thought, talked and would act in accordance with God ‘s will.

Often I heard that God wanted ” The Christians “ were to be represented in the Parliament of Norway. The political party “The Christians” got 0,7 per cent of the votes. It is of course good that there are idealistic Christians in Norway . I count myself to be one of them. It is also good that there are Christians who are willing to work in political forums, as elected representatives of various political parties .

But it is dangerous to take a holy God in defense of political ideologies. Jesus came , for example, not to Jerusalem to remove the Roman occupation forces . He could of course have done this. But He did not . Those who claim that Jesus made mistakes in Jerusalem, have set them themselves above God.

In the Christian landscape there are a multitude of false teachers and false prophets . It is easiest to expose such people, when they say ” Jesus will ” . They claim to represent God ‘s perfect will in your life. For example, many of them will say : ” Jesus wants to heal you”. The problem arises of course when a person with cancer dies , or when a person is not getting up from his weelchair .

Who is responsible for such failures?

Was it God who failed , or was it the self-proclaimed prophet?

The victim of such evil in Jesus ‘s name, will be the sick person . He will be led into spiritual bondage , and are indirectly accused of not having ” enough faith ” or to hide personal sin.

It is important to be humble, to bow before a holy God. Life on Earth might be a rocky ride , with both victories and defeats. It is in the eternal perspective we can find peace with Jesus the Messiah.

There was nothing wrong with the faith of martyrs who sacrificed their life on Earth for their faith . They were a part of a holy God ‘s perfect will. They were promised , and they will live forever in heaven together with the Father , Son and the Holy Spirit .

Signs of the End around the globe

A desperate search is underway for survivors after a giant two-mile wide tornado roared through the suburbs of Oklahoma leaving dozens dead, including seven children who drowned in a pool of water at their school.

Plaza Towers Elementary in Oklahoma City was in the direct path of the giant twister that ravaged Moore on Monday afternoon and today rescuers were combing the debris to find 24 students who went missing after the building took a direct hit during 45 minutes of terror.

Initial reports said as many as 91 people could have been killed in the tragedy, but officials confirmed on Tuesday morning there have been 24 deaths.

They added they fear for as many as 40 others – including 20 children – and expect the death count to rise. At least 240 people are injured – 60 of these children.

Four fireballs fall over U.S. in 24 hour period

In the last 24 hours the AMS has received confirmed reports about 4 unique fireball events all occurring near 4:00 AM UTC time. The most recent event occurred in Arkansas and Missouri on May 19th near 3:37 UTC. At the same time 3:37 UTC 4 witnesses reported a fireball in Arizona. The distance between these two locations would inhibit witnesses from observing the same fireball from both locations. On May 18th two large fireball meteors were also spotted within an hour of each other, one over the central east coast and another in Colorado.

Large earthquake strikes off coast of Chile

The U.S. Geological Survey says an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.8 has struck off the coast
of Chile. The quake was recorded at 5:49 a.m. local time (EDT; 0949 GMT) Monday,
at a shallow depth of 10 kilometers (6.2 miles), some 600 kilometers (370 miles)
from the city of Puerto Quellon. No tsunami warning was issued.

2 new diseases could both spark global outbreaks

LONDON (AP) — Two respiratory viruses in different parts of the world have captured the attention of global health officials — a novel coronavirus in the Middle East and a new bird flu spreading in China.

Last week, the coronavirus related to SARS spread to France, where one patient who probably caught the disease in Dubai infected his hospital roommate. Officials are now trying to track down everyone who went on a tour group holiday to Dubai with the first patient as well as all contacts of the second patient. Since it was first spotted last year, the new coronavirus has infected 34 people, killing 18 of them. Nearly all had some connection to the Middle East.

Signs of the end times are getting worse. With tornadoes being reported in Kansas and other states, earthquake hitting Guatemala and Canada as well, and diseases across the globe, it’s pretty evident to those in the Lord Jesus, that he is near!

Paula’s son responds to Shai Linne’s song: “False Teacher.”

Here is a letter from Paula’s son to Shai Linne. It’s in response to Shai Linne’s song, “False Teacher.”

Dear Shai Linne,

My attention was recently brought to your new single “Fal$e Teacher$” in which you say, “Paula White is a false teacher”.

This rhetoric is not new to me; I have heard it since I was a child. It is commonplace in our lives to be called “heretics”, “false teachers”, and “wolves”. Although “wolf” is vicious, it is still better than the oft heard cries of “whore”, “daughter of Babylon”,

and “servants of Satan” that so often come from the mouths of our ‘Christian’ brothers and sisters.

My interest in this is because I am Paula White’s son. I also manage her ministry Paula White Ministries. One would think that hearing these accusations all my life would make me numb to their stings… but that is not the case. After all, it is my mother. This is the woman who birthed me, nurtured me, raised me to love Jesus, prayed for me when I didn’t, and patiently led me when I finally embraced the truth of His loving sacrifice. So when I hear a fellow Christian leader, whom has never had a conversation with me or my mother, call her a “Fal$e Teacher” I wonder what “Fal$e Teaching$” I myself have been inculcated with since I, more than anyone else on the face of the earth, have been most exposed to her teachings.

Is it the love of money? Working well over 40 hours a week for a yearly salary of $44,200 is not a bad living, and I am thankful that I have the ability to take care of my wife and myself. However, it is far from greed. My position in any other company would offer me well over 6 figures a year. Yet I am not taking up offers or knocking on doors. I forego money for the opportunity to work for a ministry that I believe in, a ministry that I witness daily changing lives across the globe. Including and especially the continent of Africa you gave a shout out too.

Is it false doctrine? I love Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who atoned for my sins. I worship the Trinitarian Godhead with all my heart, all my soul, all my strength, and all my mind. I believe it is my responsibility to teach the world the beautiful truth that Jesus Christ is God and that he has given us the opportunity to be in eternal fellowship with the Creator of the Universe. Undeserved Grace through Faith saves me.

Am I a heretic? My mother taught me these things. These are things she teaches whenever she speaks. Where is her heresy? Where are her “Fal$e Teaching$”?

I pray you re-evaluate your stance. As of now, you are not operating according to the guidance of Matthew 7:16. You instead are falling into the trap that Titus 3:10-11 and Romans 16:17 warns us against.

I know you love your mother, Brad. I love mine as well. I made Fal$e Teacher$ because there are many other sons out there whose mothers have had their lives greatly damaged by the false teachings of Paula White and the others mentioned in the song. I would love to hear that Paula White has repented and renounced the many false things that she has taught. I am praying to that end. But until she does that, I must soberly maintain that the Biblical category of “False Teacher” does, in fact, apply her. And those who follow her must be warned. And just so you know, I have your email address and will gladly take this conversation offline with you if you’d like.

My comment:

Any teacher who sits down and preaches that you have to sow a seed (give money) for Jesus to bless you, is a lying wolf.

1 Timothy 6:10

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

I completely agree with Shai, and all that he has said. And I thank him for making us even more aware of this. May Jesus continue to guide and bless Shai. These false teachers need to be closely looked at, for many have fallen under their trap.

Matthew 7:15

Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.

Paula White says and I quote: “When you sow the seed of your first fruits, you will reap God’s power and favor in your life. You have the power to release His blessings today by dedicating your first fruits to Him. Change the course of your entire year, perhaps your life today.”

That is a complete and utter fabrication. You have never needed to give anyone money to reach to out to God. Never! Jesus offers you the FREE GIFT OF SALVATION.

Ephesians 2:8

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God

I notice Brad (Paula’s son) never mentions what his mother teachers, but instead compares his life, and tries to defend his mom. He makes comparisons in the Bible, claiming that Shai is falling under the Titus 3:10-11 trap. And even when all is said and done, Brad still can’t see that his mother telling someone they must give, to be blessed is hugely wrong. I do pray that both Brad and Paula can see this soon, for when Christ comes with great power and Glory, he will be separating the sheep’s from the goats (Matthew 25-31:46).
