It is not exactly a miracle that lightning might strike the highest towers in the city of Rome.
But a thunderbolt in the hour of the Present Pope flagging his resignation, is worth mentioning.
He replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.
If you do not understand that Satan has the power to perform miracles you basically are in the receiving end of massive deceptions.
Let me remind you that Satan will give the last and final antichrist the power to call fire down from heaven.
Revelation 13:12-14
He exercised all the authority of the first beast on his behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. And he performed great and miraculous signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to earth in full view of men. Because of the signs he was given power to do on behalf of the first beast, he deceived the inhabitants of the earth. He ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived.
If you have followed a copy-cat Jesus, you have not received the Holy Spirit. And you will not be able to understand that the Pope is not a man of God, but maybe the largest deceiver of the flock.

The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders.
Jesus the Messiah said: Watch out, so that no one deceives you.
Are you one of those who claim all miracles must be from “god“?

Even today many of my fellow brethren in the pentecostal movement are easily swayed by deceiving spirits. The Devil can heal also…he can just remove the sickness he gave you originally!
Not all in who are Pentecostal are swayed. I am Pentecostal and have been all my life. I believe in God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. And I believe that the Holy Spirit distributes gifts (all Glory goes to Christ) as healing sick, casting out demons and so forth because of our Lord Jesus.

I’m pentecostal too! In fact, I’m a Pentecostal pastor. I just see too many people seeking signs instead of the revelations Jesus has previously given.

Please excuse me if I am in error but rather let me know…I thought you said you were Catholic at one time, so because of that you are able to understand the Catholic people better…and a “How can a person be Pentecostal all their life? At one time we had to accept the Gospel of Jesus Christ ‘after we heard it’ ..it don’t come down by ‘inheritance’…not that I have heard of.

Hi Andrea. No I have never been Catholic, so I would have never made the statement of understanding them better.
Also, I should have written I have attended a Pentecostal church all my life. That makes more sense. And no you do not inherit anything. That is not what I said at all. I was baptised around 12 or 13, and that is when I accepted Jesus as my Savior.

When I heard about this story and saw this picture, I thought of this verse-” And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven ” Luke 10:18. I know that this is spoken in the past tense, so that it has already occured, but seems rather prophetic since the embodiment of satan himself will be coming from the Vatican. Just ironic I guess.

For the first time in 600 years, the Pope has “been told” to resign. Not so strange, if Satan now shall walk on Earth in person, presented as a replacement “Messiah”. We know that Satan entered Judas. So will he enter the last and final antichrist.

So very true …so very true…this was not ‘act of benevolence’ on the part of the Pope…to step down for what ever excuse he is or who ever reports and writes his statements…
Indeed this is not so strange….that another leader is chosen and brought before the forefront by the working of hands behind the scene nor will it be the last until the final plan of God is put into place! and that one has always been and will forever be The Lord of Glory.

70 is not old…unless you’re 50 and younger then 70 seems old to them (smile)….but then 10 yrs old is ‘those old big boys’ to a 5 yrs old …my question marks were in response to the statement that ‘heaven is angry’…in what respect and why do you believe heaven is angry?

I doubt the next Pope will be the Antichrist but believe all the popes since Pope Gregory the Great were types and precursors to the Antichrist. No Jew would follow a Pope thinking he is their Messiah. However, it is possibe the next Pope could announce the real Antichrist as the Jewish Messiah. I look at the final Pope to be the False Prophet but not the Antichrist. The Antichrist will show and declare himself to be a Jew and will come in his own name to be accepted by the Jews, as it is written, “if another shall come in his own name, him ye will believe.” John 5:43

Yep… as many did not see the signs of The Lord’s coming over 2, 000 years ago so shall there be many blinded eyes in the multitude of signs that have occurred and even now ever increasing…the hardness of heart, mockeries, blasphemies, and all that The Word of God tells us will be in the ”later days”…I was reading in Micah last night and saw again the Word that touched my heart of these days…
It’s sad yet we see there are many who choose to deny the Truth that is ever before their eyes. …you just can’t deny or change the signs that are all around us…

I was raised Catholic, and was save by Jesus Christ at 19. He taught me to stay in His Word, and so I have for all these years. I am 70 now.
Yes the false prophet (the last Pope I believe) will boost the Anti-Christ and will perform amazing miracles in The Anti-Christ’s presence to get people to worship the Anti-Christ. He will call for fire to come out of heaven, right in front of our eyes, to prove the Anti-Christ is from God, and is indeed God. He will put on a dazzling display that will convince the entire world totally that Anti-christ is Christ. HE IS NOT. HE IS ANTI, ANTI, ANTI-CHRIST. Don’t be fooled. Christ is coming in the clouds of heaven with great power and glory. Anti-Christ and his false prophet will be thrown into the lake of fire forever. Anti-Christ and his minions only have 3 1/2 years and that is it. But they will deceive the world and could even deceive the elect of God. We need to walk with Christ our Lord and Savior daily.
