If a preacher spend more than 10 minutes without quoting a single verse from the Bible, you have entered a club or a cult. In particular if this person already have spent the time teaching about “Jesus” and the “Holy Spirit”.

Later John writes;

According to the Beloved Disciple of Christ, there is much more to the Spirit of God and Christ than is written in the Bible. We are justified by Faith and not the works of the Law and Faith that does not move someone to do good works is dead.

…then it’s not a Bible study. It’s a study of the person’s personal shtick.
