Pastor Bill Johnson to kill the largest pentecostal Church in Norway

Filadelfia in Oslo wants to be anointed with a mix of Toronto and «Kingdom Now» theology. Pastor Bill Johnson will lead the largest Norwegian Pentecostal Church into deception.

«Heaven invades the Earth». That is the theme for a week end outpouring of deceptive spirits in the largest Pentecostal Church in Norway, Filadelfia in Oslo. The conference is headed by a unique mix of Charismatic teachers from the Toronto movement, and Lutherans who have submitted to the spirits in Toronto.

Matthew 13:25
But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away.

The conference will be held in the Norwegian Pentecostal congregation from 15th of 18th of April.

John Arnott and his wife

John Arnott from Toronto is coming to the conference, to lay his hands on member of the congregation, and anoint the crowed with the deceptive Toronto spirits. Together with him comes pastor Bill Johnson from Bethel Church in the US, who teachers Kingdom Now theology. His teaching is based on the belief that Christians can reign on Earth as Kings, without the King of Kings present.

Matthew 24: 24-25

For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible.See, I have told you ahead of time.

Both Arnott and Johnson are mentors and supporters of Todd Bentley, who lead the global outpouring of the Lakeland mega show, covered by God-TV. There have been no sign of repentance.

Alf Magnus

The Norwegian partners to this conference has submitted to «Catch`s the fire movement» of Rodney Howard Browne. Alf Magnus is the head of Youth With a Mission in Northern Europe, and took 100 Norwegian Christian leaders on a mission to Toronto a few years ago. Einar Ekerhovd is the head of the Oase-movement in Norway. He is a Lutheran, with links both to Toronto, and the claimed to be Kansas prophets around Bob Hartley.

1 John 5:19
We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.

The «Catch the fire movement» can be better described as a «Catch the demon» movement, destroying or leading Churches into submission of deceptive spirits, like the Kundalini spirit. Typical manifestation of Kundalini is holy laughter, uncontrolled shaking, animal noises and sensations of burning inside.

Einar Ekerhovd

When Pentecostal Christian pastors allow this kind of wolfs in sheep clouding to enter into their Churches, they will experience one of two likely futures: A new season of worldliness and division, caused by the spiritual death of its leadership. Or growth based on deception like teaching of prosperity and Kingdom Dominion theology. In the end, the church is destined for disaster.

Mark 13:13
All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.

The dangerous deception of Kingdom Now theology

Pastors like Bill Johnson believes that Jesus «the head» will return to «His body» in full maturity and dominion over Earth. This kind of preachers claim that the Church does not understand that it has misunderstood its calling, and do not exercise its powers.

The most important verse teachers like Bill Johnson use in a bid to catch you is:

1 Corinthians 4:8

Already you have all you want! Already you have become rich! You have become kings—and that without us! How I wish that you really had become kings so that we might be kings with you!

When you read the rest of this chapter, you will see the irony used by Paul. The apostate Church in Corinth feels they have become kings, and have all they want. And Paul rebukes them, and explains that the true Kingdom awaits servants of Jesus that never became «King`s on Earth», but rather persecuted martyrs.

Men like Bill Johnson should not be allowed to preach in classic Pentecostal Churches, but stay locked inside the Word of Faith Movement.

Moses is another example of a man that refused to live like a King on Earth.

Hebrew 11: 24-25:

By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a short time. He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward.

If we are kings, we can not rule the earth before the King of Kings returns as King Messiah. But just before He returns men and women from the Toronto Movement, will celebrate and rule as Kings with a false King of Kings. The last antichrist in flesh that has come to Jerusalem claiming to be God. His dominion will surely be global and powerful.

May be the Pentecostal leaders in the Church of Oslo should listen to Jesus the Messiah, who refused to bow down to a preacher of «Kingdom Now theology»:

Matthew 4:7-9

Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.

Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”.

Pastor Bill Johnson has done it, and got it.

  1. “Love Not The World”

”For the WHOLE world is under the control of the evil one”(I John 5:19)

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world will pass away, and the lust thereof: but he that does the will of The Only True GOD will abide for ever.” (I John 2:15-17)

“If you were of the world, the world would love it’s own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said unto you, the servant is not greater than his Master. If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept My saying, they will keep yours also.” (John 15:19-20)

“Where do wars and fighting among you come from? Do they not come of your lusts that war in your members? You lust, and have not: you kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: you fight and war yet you have not, because you ask not. You ask, and receive not, because you ask amiss, that you may consume it upon your lusts. You adulterers and adulteresses, don’t you know that friendship with the world is to be at enmity with The Only True GOD? Therefore whoever will be a friend of the world is the enemy of The Only True GOD.” (James 4:1-4)

“The world cannot hate you; but the world hates Me, because I testify that the works of this world are evil.” (John 7:7)” and “The Messiah gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of The Only True God, Our Father.”(Gal 1:4)

The Messiah testified: “If the world hates you know that it hated Me before it hated you.”(John 5:18) Truly, Truly, I say unto you, except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abides alone: but if it die it brings forth much fruit. He that loves his life in this world shall lose it; and he that hates his life in this world shall have it unto life eternal.” (John 12:24-25)

John testified: “Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hates you.” (I John 3:13) “ James testified, “Whoever would be a friend of this world is the enemy of GOD”(James 4:4)

The “earth” is The Creation of The Only True GOD, Father of ALL! The “worldly” systems are the creation of, and under the dominion of “the god of this world”, he who is “the father of lies”, he who “has blinded the minds of those who believe not The Messiah”! All the nations of this world are under the dominion of, and serve, the evil one for he provides the fuel that feeds mankind’s “imag”ination, and mankind’s “imagination is destroying and perverting Creation(land, air, water, creatures, Truth, Love, Peace, Faith, Simplicity, .etc.) ;-(

And the “strongest thing” in the evil one’s worldly systems? “Woman”…… yet The Truth, that which is of The Only True GOD, is stronger even than woman. (read I Esdras 3&4 of the Apocrypha) And Truth, Love, Peace, Faith, Mercy, Hope,,,etc,,, all that is “good”, is of The Only True GOD and is of HIS Spirit, not of this world. Those born of The Spirit, those born of The Only True GOD, are the brethren of The Messiah, for they received “a love of The Truth that they might be saved”. Reborn!

And those who have received “a love of The Truth” have separated themselves from this world and those of this world, for they have taken heed unto The Call of The Only True GOD to “Come out of her MY people.” They are “in, but not of this wicked, evil world”, and The Only True GOD has received them, and is “A Father unto them, and they are HIS sons and daughters”. And they follow, and desire to be like their Master and Brother, The Messiah, He Who was “the firstborn of many brethren”. And as “The Messiah was a servant of The Only True GOD”, so also His Brethren are “servants of The Only True GOD.”

The called out ones are not “adulterers and adulteresses”, they are not “friends of this wicked, evil world”, they do not “fornicate with the god of this world” for they know that “to be a friend of this world is to be the enemy of The Only True GOD.” They are at war against the evil spirits that possess those who are of this world.

And they do not “allow that woman Jezebel, which calls herself a prophetess, to teach. For she teaches others to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. The Only True GOD gave her a chance to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.” (Rev 2:20-21)

“fornication” and “adultery..” in that which is recorded above signifies spiritual fornication with “the god of this world”, which is to love that which is of his world.

Once again, the “earth” is The Creation of The Only True GOD, Father of ALL! The “worldly” systems are the creation of, and under the dominion of “the god of this world”.

Those who “love this world” all serve “the god of this world”, and play their part in the processes that seek to destroy The Creation of The Only True GOD. “And The Only True GOD will destroy them who destroy the earth.” (Rev 11:18)

Global warming, polluted air, land and waters, toxic wastes, sexual perversion, evil inventions of destruction, greed, hate, carnal warfare, dis-ease ,,,etc,,, are all destructive processes that have their root in “the lust of the eye, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life”.

And as stated, “woman is the strongest thing of this world”. Yet stronger than woman is The Truth, which is in those who have “received a love of The Truth”.

The Truth Is Alive in those who have been born of The Spirit for “they no longer love this wicked, evil world and it’s things, nor do they love their own lives in this world”.

They but seek and desire The Will of GOD, their Father and Creator, as they await their final transformation. “Corruptible to Incorruptible” ndeed and Truth!

Now “the ground was cursed for Adam’s sake” because he “hearkened unto the woman”.

Adam listened to a woman rather than obeying The Only True GOD. Yet because of Faithful Noah, The Only True GOD “no longer would curse the ground for man’s sake” because Noah obeyed The Only True GOD! (Genesis 8:21-22)

And the Faithful today are exhorted to “love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.” And Faithful women are exhorted to “be in silence.” “Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. For I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.” “For Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.” (I Timothy 2:11,12,14)

A man and woman joined together in obedience and submission unto The Only True GOD are blessed indeed. All who are not obedient, all who will not submit themselves unto The Only True GOD will have to answer to HIM..period..

Be not of those who deny and defy “The One GOD, Father of All”. Be not of those who are destroying HIS Creation(land, air, water, vegetation, creatures) and perverting that which is Spirit(Light, Truth, Life, Love, Peace, Hope, Mercy, Faith, .etc.)!

Paul testified, “The Only True GOD is The HEAD of The Messiah, The Messiah is The Head of the man, and the man is the head of the woman”. Multitudes pervert GOD’s Order because they have been seduced by ” the commandments and doctrines of men and devils”.

Multitudes are seduced by the religious systems that are in and of this evil world. Seduced because they love this evil world and their own life in it!

“Set your affections on things above”. Desire heavenly, eternal things. Quit serving ‘time’ in the prison that is this world and take heed unto The Call of “The Only True GOD” to ”Come Out of her, MY people!”

Once again, “Come out” from among those who are destroying Creation and perverting that which is Spirit. Be of those who follow The Messiah on “The Way to The Truth of The Life”.

“Come out” of the worldly systems, which are the product of mankind’s “imag”ination, especially the religious systems. “Pure religion and undefiled before GOD The Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction and to keep oneself uncontaminated by the world.” (James 1:27)

Simply, all other religions are impure, defiled and of this wicked, evil world!

Faith will not create a system of religion!

Peace, in spite of the dis-ease(no-peace) that is of this world and it’s systems of religion, for “the WHOLE world is under the control of the evil one” indeed and Truth…….

Truth is forever, lies reside in never, never land……. francis

    1. I know this reply is to a blog post several years old, but if I found it just today, others will as well. So, I will state my most-Christ-like position on the post.

When I read the New Testament, Jesus says signs, wonders and miracles will follow all those who believe. Even greater works would all of his disciples do because He was going to the Father. Jesus clearly declares that the Church after His ascension would see a greater outpouring of miracles than during His time on earth. Nowhere, absolutely nowhere does it say that miracles and healings would ever be separated from the preaching of the Gospel message. Paul would not preach without a demonstration of power and told all believers to carefully follow the pattern laid out by him as He followed Christ. He also issued a warning that if anyone came along and tried to preach another gospel (like those who say miracles are no longer part of the Gospel) let him be considered anathema or eternally condemned.

People filled with the Spirit on the Day of Pentecost were said to appear as if drunk. They were so filled, that they could do nothing but praise God. They poured out onto the street and courtyard outside the Upper Room near David’s Tomb. They were filled with boldness and no doubt a lot of joy. David danced before the Lord and told his scolding wife that he would get even more undignified than that. She became barren. He went on to live a fruitful, long life pregnant with the presence of God.

When people get the joy, peace and freedom the Holy Spirit brings, when their sins are forgiven, their demons are gone and their sickness are healed, you never know how a person will react. The lame man in Acts 3 went walking, leaping and praising God. Yes, he interrupted everything and disturbed the stiff, religious folk. The Apostles didn’t seem to mind and Luke liked the story so well, he put in the Book of Acts as a work that Jesus did through the Holy Spirit.

When does the Kingdom come? Yes,everyone who has read the New Testament knows Jesus is coming again and will establish His kingdom on earth. At that time, the devil will be bound and the glory of the Lord will fill the earth. The question is, what does the life of the believer and the Church of Jesus look like until then? Weak and powerless or strong and full of the same Holy Spirit power that raised Christ from the dead? The answer is in the Parable of the Wheat and Tares in Matthew 13:24-30. The master sowed good wheat seed in his fields, but an enemy sowed tares. The servants said to the master, “‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’ But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.”’”

H.A. Baker, the great missionary to China said this parable shows in the end times when Christ comes, the Church will be at it’s full potency (bearing all the fruits of the Kingdom as Christ did) and the devil’s army will also be at its full potency (bearing the fruits of darkness.) Jesus demonstrated the Kingdom of heaven on earth wherever He went. He said, if the sick are healed then the Kingdom of Heaven has come unto you. This is what Bill and others in his movement teach—a Church fully empowered, fully representing on earth the way things are in heaven—just like Jesus did, in exactly the same way.

A theology that claims all signs, wonders, miracles, healings and spiritual gifts are no longer of God but exclusively of the devil is not biblically rational. A theology that says, “God is giving you that sickness to teach you something,” and in the same breath says, “healing, and miracles today are solely of the devil,” makes God out to be the bad guy and the devil the one with all the power.” The good news about the Good news is that people are still being healed, delivered and blessed with every blessing of Abraham.

Bill Johnson and others in his camp are good people. They bring people closer to God and have compassion for the lost, sick and oppressed. They also help a lot of people financially and are not just spending their ministry income on themselves. They are using it to reach the lost. Because of them hundreds of thousands are being saved, healed and set free. They are bearing the fruit of the Kingdom. I would venture to say, that if you would spend as much time in the presence of the Lord and in reaching out to people with the love of Christ as you do criticizing other ministries, you might begin to see more people saved and maybe some miracles too.

      1. It’s me again. I just want to say I’m not trying to be mean, just real.

      2. Wayne W.

        Shalom.

        Yes, be real. Face it.

You are not her to gain popularity, collect million’s of dollar, and live a life in deception and indulgences. You are supposed to be a hated being, persecuted by the Kingdom of darkness.

You are supposed to know the truth, and to tell the truth.

You are supposed to be an alien and a stranger on the Earth. Longing to be with the Messiah, who will come back and rescue you. If you die before the rapture, you will spend some time in the grave. Than, Jesus the Messiah will come and collect your soul. Amen.

      3. Dear Wayne W

        Shalom, and love in Jesus.

Please do not write long comments, but be brief, and take one point at the time.

        You wrote:

        My reply:

Hum. Some points for you to reflect on.

        1. John the Baptist was so empowered, that he was beheaded. Even as Jesus the Messiah walking on the face of the Earth.
        2. Stephen was surely empowered, had both strong faith and believed in miracles. But he was stoned. Do not fit into the message of men like Bill.
        3. All the Apostles were martyred. Empowered men. Paul was most likely beheaded. Thomas traveled to India, and might have been slain by short and long knives.
        4. Today, every year, hundreds of thousands “empowered Christians” are murdered. Most of them inside the Muslim World. All of them “saints”, martyred for their pure faith. refusing to compromise with the men of Satan.
5, Non of the martyrs have followed the “American styled, glossy copy of “Christianity” proclaimed by men like Bill Johnson. Men who live on the top of the World, and have no clue what the real message of the Messiah is. That ALL who follow Jesus will be hated by the whole World, and many called home to Heaven in their young age. Home to a better place, home to the Eternal Kingdom in Heaven.

        Do you get me?

I am not so sure, that you are willing to repent.

      4. Well then, why don’t we let the sinners do the martyring and you take a break.

      5. Dear Wayne W

        Shalom.

        Take a break?…..

Let the sinners, do the martyring…?

If you have compromised, and tell the rosy, glossy copy of the Gospel, the whole world will love you.

    2. Dear Pastor ,i thank God for u and yr Church .
am taking prints all your sermons and distributing to pastors so those helpful to them .is it possible for me to visit Ur church
      thanks a lot

    3. To whom it may concern: what you are going to read is a true story that has happened to me and my wife. Should you have any doubts about the veracity of this happening, I might tell you the names of two people to whom this false youth “pastor” has admitted his satanic behavior and is proud of it.

I briefly want to inform you about the scandalous behavior of a person who’s name is Henning Gjervoldstad and is a so called youth pastor Betania pentecostal fellowship Kongsberg,Norway. On the month of August/2014, deceived by this person through the internet, I rented a so-called house-basement from his home,(when we did the contract we didn’t know we were dealing with a rascal). We stayed there for nearly two weeks and had following problems: lack of water, no toilet and energy, to mention even the worst conditions such as moisture and mold, which made my wife seriously ill. As we informed him about the bad conditions and about us leaving the following month, he answered us with an arrogant and affronted email and forbade us to complain, and as if that was not enough, Gjervoldstad came at our home and started hitting our door with fists just like a thug, having opened the door – he started terrorizing us aggressively and holding fists before our face and screaming that terrorized us, until the point to scaring and insulting my wife. For about 20 minutes we were under his terror;also saying to us that we’re foreigners here in Norway and that he (henning) is a Norwegian and will do to us whatever he wants; i told him that I’ll call the police if he tries to do something or harm us,but his reply was:”i don’t care about police and about law” this he said in screaming aggressive behavior; as he was displaying his aggressiveness toward us,his face had taken the feature of the devil.
I was forced and took my wife leaving the place to stay elsewhere. That was because of bad conditions and terrorism that we experienced from this person. I had to make a denunciation for threat at the police office against Henning Gjervoldstad who like a thug intruded into our place by threatening and troubling our private life. Not to mention that our post was stolen from our mailbox too. As foreigners that we are, rascal Henning Gjervoldstad trid to rob us of our money by benefit through fraud and threatening/terror.

What a shame that Gjervoldstad is a youth leader-it’s a sin and a shame all of this garbage in Jesus name. While this person has no idea of the Bible and at the same time has aggressive displays of a mobster. The Bible does not encourage such behavior nor does approve people with such ugly attitude: liar, greedy, rascal, low class behavior and having a narrate for threats at the police archives. This person does not deserve to be a leader of the youth, the only place for him is prison. Youth’s parents should learn the truth about the devilish scandal of Henning Gjervoldstad, a wolf in sheep’s clothing! That i had to report to the police for threatening and to the court for taking our money thru deceiving – it truly shows what kind of “christian” he is. There’s no lie that Henning could use as a fig-leaf that would cover his satanic behavior. It seems that neither is christian his father Arne Gjervoldstad ,all his positions like a rektor of Filadelfia -missionary to Kenya – elder – or team elder- cannot make him a christian- actually it’s like it says in Titus 1:16. That Norway has problem with faith and christianity today it’s because of such ppl like Gjervoldstads who have crept into Christianity like wolves in sheep’s clothing! It’s typically of pentecostal/charismatics to make scandal upon scandals!

      Dr.Genti Rexho, DBS.,D.Div.

      1. This is a gross misinterpretation of the idea of Kingdom Now theology. The reality is not that we are “kings” after an earthly sense but rather that, as children of God, being seated with Christ in Heavenly places, we are empowered by the Holy Spirit, not some silly kundalini, (which makes a poor attempt at emulating the Holy Spirit) to exercise the keys of authority that Christ gave to us when He said.”I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” The claims you are putting in these men’s mouths are erroneous or entirely out of context. The idea of the Kingdom being current is to say that Jesus conquered Death and sin and Satan when He died and rose again. His Kingdom was established at that moment and with the outpouring if the Holy Spirit He fills us with His authority and power to do the works He calls us to and enables us to stand strong and unimpressed by the forces of Hell. To be “kings” now is to walk with the knowledge that, just like the early church in Acts, we can walk without fear of this world because Christ overcame the world.

That being said, I fully understand that I have spoken up in a forum that will not easily receive me. I want to profess that I love the Jesus of the Bible, I seek after Him daily and desire His will on Earth. If that is some echo of what is in your heart, we are siblings. United by who we love, so let’s not be divided over how we minister and empower those around us to do the things out Christ commands. We can disagree, sure that’s fine. If I’ve upset you, I’m sorry, but I felt it needed saying. I promise I will respect you and love you regardless of what you say in response to this, because that is what I believe Jesus requires of me. Be blessed by the God above any other God, the Jesus who came, lived blamelessly, and died to take our sins and cleanse our stains, and was raised to justify us.

  2. Praise the lord. greetings in the name of our lord and saviour Jesus Christ. i am pastor from INDIA i am working among the tribals and villagers and please do pray for us and we do pray for you and yopur ministry.

    1. Dear Padmakumar

Shalom, and welcome to this site.

Thanks for praying for us. I will pray for you right now: Lord Jesus. Let many people be saved through your co-workers in the villages and tribal belt of India. Amen.

  3. Oou church in Cuenca Ecuador is be involved on this think with bethel church redding and some of us aré very conerned about this. May you gibeore information about jhonson and his doctrines. I’m part of the founders of my church so I’m very worry!

    1. Here is a link where you can let him speak for himself:

      http://www.fathersglory.com/insp/Bill_Johnson.htm

He is very scriptural, Bible based and sees more healings and miracles and salvations than most others churches in Redding combined. If you want to listen to Bible bashers and their ignorance hang out here at this site, otherwise listen to what Bill is teaching, take it to the Bible for yourself, test it, check the references, you will find he speaks the truth that many others are afraid to admit to or hold themselves accountable to.

      Just sayin!

    2. Brother Luis,
you are right to be concerned about this development in your church.
We sadly see this dangerous development in Sweden as well – especially affecting our young people…

      Our leaders lack discernment!

  4. What a sad article – how sad to read a pharasees article. I feel like crying – Jesus also wept over those people who was so sure they were so right that they did not understand what God was doing. There are a lot of false statements based on fear in this article. Its really sad to read. May the Lord be mercyful to you – may you experice his love and presence and truth in a totally new way in the future. That is my prayer for you Mr. Fjeld.

    1. Dear Erich

Shalom, and welcome to this site.

That I published this article, is a proof that I do not fear people who do not agree with me. You might not agree with me, but the teachers of the prosperity gospel are false teachers. Jesus warned us about massive deception just before He returns. We have to be careful. and keep an open debate on the issue of deception inside the Church.

      1. Thank you for your reply. I dont know what you have heard or read about Mr. Johnson or if you have spoken with him. If you have spoken with him about these issues I will listen closely to you, because most conflicts come because of misunderstandings and bad communication. But if you cannot talk with people check out the fruit of their lives. See if people are saved, see if they are healed, check if the love the word of God more after hearing them speak, check if they seek God even more afterwards, see if their love for Jesus grows, see if their burden for the lost increases. Correct docrine alone will not save one single person – in fact those who really knew everything in detailed and warned everyone were – well you know who they were. Lets check out the fruit over time before we judge our brothers and sisters. Much love in our precious Lord.

      2. Dear Erich

Shalom, and thanks for this comment:

        Dear

Bill Johnson just held his much marketed meeting in the Norwegian pentecostal Church of Oslo.

The Norwegian Christian Daily has quoted Johnson saying.

        – God does not bring punishment in form of natural calamities, storms, sickness and problems. How many times did Jesus bless a storm, and told it to go to the nearest town and humiliate the people who lived there? Never.

        Du you agree with Johnson?

      3. You’ve changed topics sir, the Kingdom Now and Prosperity Gospel are two separate ideas. Those inside the network you are condemning also refute the prosperity gospel. Johnson included.

  5. Thanks Ivar, for this warning against deceptive teachings and these false prophets Bill Johnson, and John Anott etc. They are wolves in sheep-clothing.

For readers of this blog: Study this documentation:
    http://www.bbif.no/aktuelt/apologetikk/dokumentasjon/

It is really tragic and dangerous that thes false spirit are spreading troughout many denominations in Norway, as well as the whole “Christian” world.

There are many similarities between this and New Age,
indeed it IS a new-age spirit, preparing for antichrist.

  6. Thank you loveandtruth for your comments. I agree with you totally. I have attended Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship on several occasions over the last 5 years and I have only been blessed. John Arnott is not a false prophet or false teacher. He is a very loving man who by the power of the Holy Spirit has brought hope and healing to many, many people worldwide. There is only fruit of the Spirit in my life, my family’s life and friends as a result of attending there. The peace of God rests in that place and receiving God’s forgiveness and giving it away is their top priority. The Word says to test the spirits and look at the fruit and then decide. They are blessed by God and sharing it. As far as Bill Johnson goes, the same is happening in Redding. I have more faith, hope and love from both these ministries then I did before and God is well pleased. This is not an anti-christ spirit!

    1. Dear JoyLaughter.

Shalom, and welcome to this site.

I have never been at Toronto Airport Fellowship, and I have never met John Arnott. Neither have I met Benny Hinn. But I do watch God-TV, and I have been to one of Benny Hinn`s festivals in India. I have also been a student of a Word of Faith pastor for 18 months, so I do have some experience from the Charismatic Movement. I do not question your personal relationship with Jesus, and I want to encourage you to keep on sharing your views with us. May Jesus the Messiah bless you, and take you home to the Kingdom of Heaven. Amen.

  7. Dear brother Fjeld,
I am sure you know quite a bit of church history – you seem like a person with great knowledge. You know what has been done in the name of Jesus by believers to other believers. You know of the persecution of the anabaptist – about 200.000 were killed in Europe because the did not baptize children. There has been many disputes over things that are not related to salvation, but people have been treated as non believers. You know Mr. Fjeld there are much room for diverse beliefs in the Bible, but some are not even to discuss and thats the key topics about who Jesus is, what He did for us – the gospel – that He is true God and true man – as we read in the old statements of faith – and that the Bible 100% form God as is. Aside that we must expect that there are differents beliefs and understandings. There are more than 33.000 christian denominations on earth – not one of them know the whole truth – but I am sure I can learn a lot from each one. We must warn against those who teach false teachings about Jesus – if He is not fully God of not fully man or if He is just spirit etc…, but it is quite a dangerous path to warn against people – brothers and sisters who differs in opinion on what we can all minor issus (compared). Your question regarding if God punishes trough natural calamities can be found both Yes and No in the Bible – in the OT you would find several Yes, in the NT the teachings of Jesus would lead many to say No. Please brother, I am concerned for you because I have read Jesus words about holding the children away from the kingdom of heaven (Mt 18) – and some people you mention here and that you critizise really bring a lot of people in to the Kingsom of Heaven. And I agress, there may be unhealty things in many denominations, but I also believe there are things to learn from them all. And I truly belive that not even you are perfect – I am sure that before God He would find wrongs in many of both mine and yours believs and doctrines. Brother, lets be humble on minor issues – these people are our brothers and sisters – we will spend eterntiy with them. How are we going to face God if do not treat our brothers and sisters like brothers and sister? Please forgive me for being a bit messy in this comment, but I believe I got through the point. Much love and blessings to you Mr. Fjeld in the name of our precious Saviour Jesus Christ

    1. Dear Erich

Shalom, and thanks for a very reflective comment.

During breakfast today, we discussed the promised blessings of those who bless Jacob`s children. Many evangelical Christians bless Israel, because there is a sure return. I feel this is wrong, because the motive is wrong. True Christians give, and do not expect returns. Nevertheless, we are human. I would be a liar, if I did not expect Jesus to help me to pay my bills. He does. But he blesses me in many ways, and most abundantly in matters thats excludes money and finances.

Men like Bill Johnson and Benny Hinn teach about a God that seems to be occupied with material and financial blessings that is expected to come my way. There seems to be a flip side of the coin, that I will be blessed if I first give them some money. The Jesus I serve seems to be much more occupied about my heart than the money belt I am carrying. He demands love, compassion, and mercy.

Yesterday, I walked into my old science teacher in the middle of Jerusalem. There was less than a chance in 10 million for this divine meting to take place, since non of us are from Israel. That morning I would not have been able to pray to Jesus for such a meting to take place. But Jesus knew better than my self, what I needed. I had been thinking about this teacher for some time, and I would have had to start searching for him in a couple of weeks time.

I do not want to stop teachers of the Prosperity Gospel, and many people might find Jesus in such congregation. But be aware of the high danger of deception.

    2. You say:
“Correct docrine alone will not save one single person” , and then you (implied) take the pharisees as a bad example.

But Jesus never faulted them for safeguarding the truth, but rather for what they added to the truth.

Is not ‘correct doctrine’ the same as the truth?
And what did Jesus say about the truth?

One of the dangers whith Bill Johnson is that he is so ‘nice’, and soft spoken. But what does he teach?

Has he added on something to the truth…?

The sum of what Bill Johnson teaches is not truth, and therefore it can not set people free – rather it adds a heavier yoke of spiritual bondage on their shoulders.

If you cannot see that BJ teaches falsehood, then at least you should be worried about the ‘friends’ he keeps!

  11. Dear Brothers in Christ,
I am very concerned and worried about your seemingly quick judgements of men such as Bill Johnson. I do understand that we need to watch out for false prophets and teachers especially in these last days. We should not be so quick to come out and say it that someone is a false teacher/prophet. (especially one who is in the church!) Tell me how that shows Christ’s love, or builds unity in the body? It absolutely does not! If you want to see someone change, whether they believe in Jesus or not, you don’t condemn them… you come alongside them in love. That’s what Jesus did with His disciples time after time!
I love you all, and am anxious to see you in heaven someday! I encourage you to build unity in the body of Christ, for we are all one body!

    -Chris

    1. Dear Chris.

Shalom, and welcome to this site.

If Bill Johnson was only preaching in the Church his members has appointed him a preacher, I did not have to worry. They who overlook his teachings, the elders of that Church, an other local overseers are responsible for deception in their midst.

But people like Johnson, do travel the World to preach, pray and anoint people who do not know His record.

Are we allowed to object to this?

Since huge TV-canals do reach the sheep I have been told to look after, 24X7, am I allowed to warn my flock about people like Johnson?

Since the false teachers of the Toronto Movement is door openers for Johnson, Do I have the right to close my door for such people?

I guess I have. If not I would have been like a “hired” man, that either run away or corrupt my self when I am challenged.

    2. Chris,
      you present a common argument,
that we are ‘all’ one body.

But, in fact, Scripture speaks of the enemy sowing tares in amongst the wheat, and the Lord allows them ‘all’ to grow side by side til harvest time.

One day it will show for sure what is what, and who is who.

Don’t you know that the Lord warned even his first disciples, that from their very midst would come ‘wolves’, false brethren and false teachers?
Didn’t He tell them to watch for this, and to care fo the flock?

If we do not, in our turn, watch for these wolves, and warn the flock – we will be held responsible for neglect.

Not everyone who calls themselves a Christian is truly His sheep.

  12. Dear ivarfjeld,

Greetings, and thank you for welcoming me to your site!

I am assuming that wherever Bill Johnson travels and teaches, he is invited there to do so by people who know him and his background.
I am not saying you shouldn’t warn the sheep of false doctrine, by all means we are called as spiritual leaders to protect our brothers and sisters in Christ from such things. I am, however, concerned with possible judgement/slandering against Bill Johnson. You may disagree with what he teaches but that doesn’t mean he should be written off completely. God loves him with the infiniteness of His heart and desires to use him (and has used him) in powerful ways. I guess, in my own life as a leader in the body of Christ I want to be careful how I present other leaders in the body. I want to promote a culture of honor, because it’s in honoring and loving one another and those around us that we see the Kingdom advance.

I have done some research on Bill Johnson. I have listened to his podcasts on iTunes for the past few months and can honestly say he teaches truth from the Bible. Much of what he has taught has changed my life and made me more like Jesus and opened my eyes to who He is! It is always good to double check what anyone teaches from the Word of God and I am glad to see men of God on this site doing that! I respect that so much!

My only concern is to see unity in the body of Christ promoted and love abound. Churches are not buildings we meet inside of, we as believers of Jesus are the church.

ivarjfeld, I understand and respect your concerns and pursuit for truth, I just want to encourage you to build unity in the body of Christ and promote a culture of honor. Love conquers all!

Blessings to you my dear friend!

    -Chris

    1. Dear Chris.

Shalom, and welcome back with this comment.

I will ask you to read this link, and tell me what you think.

      Signs and wonders

When “angel feathers” first started to fall at Bethel Church, Bill Johnson thought birds had nested in the air conditioning ducts, he said.

      http://www.redding.com/news/2010/jan/19/bethels-signs-and-wonders-include-angel-feathers/

See also the videos of Andrew Strom at You tube.

      http://www.youtube.com/user/RevivalSchool#p/a/u/2/eyqA7vr-4p8

There are five or six videos to watch.

  13. Greetings again brother,

I have never experienced such a thing as angel feathers falling in a service. I know that God is all powerful and can choose to reveal Himself to His sons and daughters in any way He wants to. His ways and thoughts are higher than our ways and thoughts.

As I read through the article on the link you sent me, I found it interesting how they sent one of the feathers to a science lab for analysis. I think it’s interesting how God created both angels and birds and that the scientist tried to explain away the possibility of the feathers being from angels when God created them both! I wouldn’t close my mind to possibility of God allowing angel feathers to fall in a church service, He loves to reveal Himself to His children in ways that seem unorthodox or “out of the box”.

Thank you for sharing that with me, my friend!

    -Chris

    1. Dear Chris.

Shalom: This is not meant to mock your faith, just to be a little bit critical.

      – How do you know that Angels have feathers?

God can place gold dust under my bed this very moment, and so can the devil. What will be the difference?

  14. Dear ivarfjeld,

Haha, like I said in my last post, I have never such a thing as Angel feathers falling in service but I won’t close my mind to the possibility. God is infinite!
I am not going to claim to have any knowledge on the subject because I have never experienced it. I don’t know if Angels have feathers or not, it wouldn’t surprise me if they did but like I said, I’m not going to close my mind to the possibility.

To answer your question: “God can place gold dust under my bed this very moment, and so can the devil. What will the difference be?

I have heard many instances of people finding gold dust and even gemstones from heaven in church services. There is even a testimony of a church that was struggling to pay off their building, they cried out to God for a miracle and soon after they found gems that came out of no where. They sold them and paid off the building with money to spare! Praise God!
I don’t know if the devil can do creative miracles like that. Satan can only make counterfeits of what God does but he most certainly cannot emulate God’s power.

I very much appreciate your question! It has provoked me to examine a little more critically what I believe! Blessings to you my friend!

  15. Dear ivarfjeld,

Like I said in my last post, I have never experienced such a thing as Angel feathers falling in service but I won’t close my mind to the possibility. God is infinite and loves to glorify Himself through revelation to His children!
I am not going to claim to have any knowledge on the subject because I have never experienced it. I don’t know if Angels have feathers or not, it wouldn’t surprise me if they did but like I said, I’m not going to close my mind to the possibility.

I don’t know if the devil can do creative miracles like that. Satan can only make counterfeits of what God does but he most certainly cannot emulate God’s limitless power. God, in doing a creative miracle such as that would be for the purpose of glorifying Himself and giving revelation of His love power to His bride.

I very much appreciate your question! It has provoked me to examine a little more critically what I believe! Blessings to you my friend!
    -Chris

    1. Dear Chris.

Shalom, and thanks for debating this important topic.

What Satan can do, just read the miracles in Egypt, around Pharaoh. His magicians copied God of Israel.

God of the Bible can not do everything. Satan can. The devil is not confined to the Scriptures, do not have to keep his promises. The devil do not have to fulfill the Law and the Prophetic Word.

So a Church were everything is possible, will very easily fall prey to the Devils tactics. Because such a Church will practice lawlessness.

So miracles or a sign is no confirmation that God of the Bible is behind them. Within the Kundalini movement, a sect of Hinduism, people are getting healed by prayers and touches on peoples forehead. The Hindu-priests release claimed to be “Holy laughter”, vibrations and shaking on their flock. The Hindu spirit of Laxmi bring gold dust to her believers, and money angels are used to bring in cash.

So is God of the Bible behind this movement, or is it Satan?

If there is no words of gold dust falling from Heaven in the Bible, you better reject this as an act of lawlessness. Even if your pastor claim this is gods work, and shouts “Halleluja, its the Holy Spirit”.

God of the Bible has set up the standards of how he shall be understood: What He has done, what He is doing, and what He is going to do. We have been given the Bible as our reference, and our protection so we will not be lead astray.

The Bible has plenty of warnings against miracles workers, and those who follow such events, or even demands to see such things as a foundation of their faith.

Deception is the rule of our days. Not obedience. Miracles do take place today, but discernment is needed. The Bible says: Test all spirits. That is the opposite of what if going on in the Charismatic movement.

Lets see what the scriptures say about the scripture.

      Daniel 9:2
in the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, understood from the Scriptures, according to the word of the LORD given to Jeremiah the prophet, that the desolation of Jerusalem would last seventy years.

      Matthew 22:29
Jesus replied, “You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God.

      Luke 24:27
And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself.

      Luke 24:45
Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures.

      John 5:39
You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me.

      Acts 17:11
Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.

      (end of scripture)

Paul was not looking for gold dust or feathers in the air……to prove that He was right, or that God was with him.
When Paul was bitten by a snake, and was healed, the audience was led astray to believe Paul was a god. (Acts 28:4-7).

      (my remark)

      Acts 18:28
For he vigorously refuted the Jews in public debate, proving from the Scriptures that Jesus was the Christ.

  16. Dear ivarfjeld
Reading your’s and Chris’s posts brought me to comment. The people who ‘got me saved’, or at least led me to Christ, are now advocates of the whole signs and wonders movement.

I am one of few people I know who have not gone onto different churches and fallen into the belief that such moves are of God. It is sad that so many people: young and old Christian alike fall away, but is it really worth ‘arguing’ with people who are not ready and/or do not wish to believe the truth. No end of telling people the truth will change their hearts:

I cannot understand why people don’t crave truth as I do, nor understand the fascination for ‘worshipping’ other people, be they Christian, or celebrity. Christ made the point that arguing is bringing division into the church. God does not want us being one church if various parts of the body are deceived or teaching deception.

He would have us separate ourselves from this Christ. Unless we ‘judge’ for ourselves what is truth and what is lawlessness, how then can we follow the Lord in all His ways? If people read the Bible, they would see that signs and wonders are not of God.

He may have performed them on occasion, but only because us humans craved a sign so much. I think we should watch for the real signs of the times of the end. Those are far more important, and yet when they come, those in darkeness will no doubt find some scientific logical explanation for those! Perhaps I shouldn’t comment, as I, never being one to give in to peer pressure, should perhaps have a little more understanding for those being led astray. Hmmmm.

    1. Dear Gaynor.

Shalom, and welcome to this site.

As I said to Chris: If Jesus wants, he can put gold dust under my bed. But so what?

      Why would He do that?

If I need cash for any tasks he has given me, I guess (and have experienced) that He would call someone, to come and help me with the finances.

  17. Shalom,

    DO NOT JUDGE
We Need to discern the Message by the Messanger, the Message and the fruits… The Evil one doesn’t want anybody to get saved! Neither through right or false teachings. DISCERN BUT BE AFRAID TO JUDGE a Movement that could possibly be from the Holy Spirit. Sins against the holy spirit can not be forgiven in eternity. Fear God more than the Evil One (who is by the Way defeated).

    1. Dear Gregor.

Shalom, and welcome to this site.

The Bible can be twisted in many ways. Some people roam around with a Bible under the arm, collecting money for them selves.

Other people preach reversed legalism. When they say: “do not judge”, the hidden message is “let everything be permissible”. They can say things like: “Honor your father and mother”, to force Children to do what the parents demands.

Shall a girl do so if her mother tries to make her an idol worshiper or a prostitute?

Shall a son submit to a father that wants to make him an alcoholic?

When such false teachers see true Christians exposing false teachers, they are up in arms: They say: Do not judge, because you (might) sin against the Holy Spirit. The truth is that they them selves sin against the Holy Spirit, by letting the wolfs come inside the shepherds flock.

There is no end of this kind of deception. Let us protect our brother and sisters against this kind of scoffers.

  18. Precious Shalom,

    DO NOT JUDGE!!!

DISCERN THE SPIRITS BUT DO NOT JUGDE….

Test the Messenger, Test the message, Test the fruits of the message, but DO NOT JUGDE!! Don’t Be decieved by that one.

Sins against the holy Spirit (and His movements, possibly) can Not Be forgiven in eternity. Fear God more than the Evil One who is defeated all along.

    Trust Jesus
    Sincerely Gregor

  19. Gregor,

I don’t see how Ivarfjeld was judging anyone. Gregor, it is our obligation as Christians in Christ, to tell others when they are being deceived.

Like, I said in a previous post, a man at my work place grabbed my hand uninvited, and said I can tell you things, I am a psychic, I am from God. And what did I do? I told him he was from the devil, because a man of God would neither use the word “psychic” which is of pagans, and he would’ve given glory to God first if he was a true man of Christ. I did not judge him, but I stood up with the help of the Lord, to what I truly believe in.

1 Peter 3:15 But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,

    Colossians 4:6
Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person

  20. Hi Gloria,

Sorry for me being misunderstood. I didn’t want to say that anyone around here was judging anybody. I just wanted to warn all Readers about this issue. For myself i haven’t yet come to a conclusion. I just See the fruits of the work of Todd Bentley, Rick joyner, Che Ahn, Bill Johnson and Otters and Start to Wonder wether the Devil would Accept so much damage to his Kingdom. These are People Full of Love for the Lost and Not for the devil’s works.

Jesus told us that a Kingdom at war with itself won’t make it very Long. I think that’s an evidence that you can’t cast out demons by the highest of them. I believe that everyone who has a Close contact to Jesus and to the father can discern easily between good and Evil.

I Never heard Bill Johnson Pray and invite a Hindu Spirit or energyforce to come over his audience. I just hear him and the others mentionend above glorifying the Name of Jesus, preaching forgiveness by repentence and Turning to christ.

Therefore i’m watching and Reading Things carfully and i try Not to jugde anybody. The good Things that come along in the teachings i keep and the Bad Things i throw Away. Eating a spiritual meal is like eating Fish. Keep the good stuff and throw Away the Bones. Don’t just swallow or throw away the Whole Thing.

Jesus gives confidence “Jesus is Perfect theology”
    Yours Gregor

    1. Dear Gregor.

Shalom, and thanks for this comment.

No one thinks men like Benny Hinn says “abra kadabra”, and a Hindu spirit will come and rest on people who seeks his anointing.

Satan is much smarter than this. He operates best with copy-cats of Jesus, and copy-cats of the Holy Spirit. Also called religious spirits.

The main Hindu spirit that moves within Christianity is the Kundalini spirit. Its a false Holy Spirit. Would anyone listen to someone who wanted to baptize people in the name of the Father, Son and Kundalini?

    2. Dear Gregor.

      Shalom.

Another Hindu spirit that moves in the circles of prosperity gospel pastors, is the spirit of Laxmi. Its a spirit of white magic, a money catching spirit.

This kind of spirit is mentioned in the book of Acts.

       Acts 16:16-18

Once when we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a slave girl who had a spirit by which she predicted the future. She earned a great deal of money for her owners by fortune-telling.

This girl followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, “These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved.”

She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so troubled that he turned around and said to the spirit, “In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!” At that moment the spirit left her.

      (end of scriptures)

When this demonized girl, who told the truth about salvation, was exposed, people got angry. Not because she might get saved by the deliverance done through Paul, but because they all started to loose money.

Something to reflect on. People roam around with a Bible under their arm, collecting money from fortune telling. They are better than bankers. They promise interest of 30, 50 and 100 per cent.

  22. There is a lot of talk about the “Culture of Honor”. I understand what the bible teaches about honor, but where are the passages about creating a “culture”?

The first four letters of that word spells “cult” and we must be very watchful and aware of not demoting the “holy nation” Christ came to form to a mere “culture”. I have seen cult-like behaviors arise recently in local bodies that teach this ideology and it is very concerning.

Cultures in general seek to create a system or a set of rules that permeate, oversee or govern a group of people. If we are not careful the restraints of culture can strip of of our liberty and freedom in Christ. The message that the culture brings might have truth to it, but the system that delivers that message might not be in line with God’s heart and intent.

  24. I have attended Toronto conferences and completely disagree with your findings and accusations. Not only are the Arnotts children of God who are living sacrificially to help others, but my life was changed for the better because of their obedience. I realized the true love of God and became much closer to Christ and am a more loving person. if that is bad then so be it. But my family and friends would tesify it has been the best thing I ever did!

    1. Dear Nancy

Shalom, and welcome to this site.

You should take a deeper look in to the Spiritual foundation of the Toronto Movement. Please look at the Video by Andre Strom, on the right side of articles of this blog.

There are many wonderful people on Planet Earth, and I am sure that the Arnotts are among them. There are also many good Buddhist, Hindus and Muslims around.

The problem with following a copy-cat Jesus, is that such followers believe they are saved. But when Jesus comes back, many claimed to be “born-again’s” will get the ultimate shock of their life. Jesus the Messiah did not recognize them.

      Read Matthew 7:21-23.

      What is the problem?

People who are drunk in the spirit, make a mockery out of the gospel. Drunkenness is a sin. People who loose control in “Holy laughter” have been filled with a false Holy Spirit, that comes from a the Kundalini cult within Hinduism.

People who manifests like snakes, dogs, cats or any kind of animals, do have an animal spirit within them. One of the main evil spirits within Hinduism is a monkey god named Hanuman.

Stay away from people who permits this wickedness, and call it “The Holy Spirit”.

I tell you this Nancy because I love you, and want you to be found in the Kingdom of Heaven.

  27. Hey. What kind of authority do you say this with? What do you do for God here on earth? Just asking so i know whether to take you serious.
And… are you persecuted and martyred much yourself?

    1. Dear Benjamin

Shalom, and welcome to this site.

You do not have to take me seriously. But at least take the message from Jesus seriously. You have to hate, not only your own family, but your own life to.

      Luke 14:26
“If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even their own life—such a person cannot be my disciple.

I do not know how much gold or money your have stored up. I my self own nothing. If I am martyred today, I will depart with out anyone fighting for my cash, properties and other fleshy idols.

      1. Ivar said:
“I do not know how much gold or money your have stored up. I my self own nothing. If I am martyred today, I will depart with out anyone fighting for my cash, properties and other fleshy idols.”

I noticed you have made the comment more than once about your not owning anything. I just don’t want others to think it is a sin to be rich. Though, of course, there are commands for the rich also.

See 1 Timothy 6:17 Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.

And if a Christian has children, surely they can save for them.

See 2 Corinthians 12:14 Now I am ready to visit you for the third time, and I will not be a burden to you, because what I want is not your possessions but you. After all, children should not have to save up for their parents, but parents for their children.

      2. Dear Victoria.

        Shalom.

        1 Timothy 6:17

Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.

        (end of scripture).

If is not a sin to “be rich”. But it is a sin to “remain” rich. And I am talking about cash and properties. Either we like it or not, no Christian can claim they own anything. In the book of Acts they were told to sell everything they had, and have everything in common.

That our culture and society do not honor the Word of God anymore, does not make the Word of God null and void. Let me remind you that the Jews have lived like this in Israel from around 1909 up to this day. Its a Kibutz. During the ages the Jews lived in colonies, where they shared everything. And if the Jews can live like this, surely should evangelical Christians.

      3. Victoria,

Saving up for emergencies or for children is very different from being rich.

1 Timonthy 6:10 says: For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

How many prosperity teachers do you see claiming to love Jesus Christ and riding around in $100,000 Mercedes living in mansions while children are starving in poor countries?

How many who say they are Christian play the lottery in hopes of being rich?

And how many Christians do you think have strayed from Christ, because they’ve became rich or have money, and proceeded to stray from God’s Word?

The answer is in 1 Timonthy 6:10

I too would rather enter the Kingdom of Heaven poor, then to even take a chance of loosing my salvation by being rich.

        God Bless.

      4. Ivar said:
“If is not a sin to “be rich”. But it is a sin to “remain” rich.”

It is not a sin to remain rich. I have shown you scriptures. You do not show scriptures that say it is a sin to remain rich. You do not show scriptures that say to we are commanded to do what they did in the time of Acts when they shared everything in common. Let’s reason like adults and eat meat.
In 1 Timothy 6:17 Paul did not say command the rich in this present world to get rid of their money and property. Read what the Word says, and don’t go beyond what is written.

I guess you should pluck out your eyes and cut off your hands too?
Hopefully you will not sin with your eyes, nor sin with your hand. And hopefully you won’t sin with your money either.

      5. Dear Victoria.

        Shalom.

You are very clever in hand picking verses, to make them fit into doctrines you have been told to promote.

We can of course mix a lot of verses together, and make it fit as a defense of our piles of cash and properties. We can also wish that this verse was never written. Many Pastors have tried their best to explain that this verse, does not mean what Jesus said:

        Matthew 19:22-24

When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”

      6. Victoria,

Your Comment: I guess you should pluck out your eyes and cut off your hands too?

My Comment: Wow how do I take that? Sarcastically? I’ll just let it slide away.

Your Comment: Hopefully you will not sin with your eyes, nor sin with your hand. And hopefully you won’t sin with your money either.

My Comment: I never said I was “perfect” Victoria. I am far from perfect. And I am far from rich. But I’m happy, because Jesus Christ has saved me from my sins.

        God Bless.

      7. Gloria said:
“Wow how do I take that? Sarcastically? I’ll just let it slide away.”

I am not speaking sarcastically. I’m trying to show you truth from God’s Word.

Jesus says “And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.”

And Jesus says “And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.”

      8. Ivar,
Are you ready to insult child of God who has the indwelling of the Holy Spirit?

        You said:
“You are very clever in hand picking verses, to make them fit into doctrines you have been told to promote.”

You are falsely judging and trying to slander me. No one told me to hand pick verses to make them fit into doctrines I have been told to promote.

        You said:
“We can of course mix a lot of verses together, and make it fit as a defense of our piles of cash and properties.”

Don’t go beyond God’s Word. And please don’t go beyond what I have said either.
        I don’t follow “prosperity teachers”.

You do not understand this passage. Jesus told the rich man to follow him. The Savior was now on earth and standing in front of this man. The Savior was on earth…what a time like no other. But yet, the man did not obey and follow Jesus.
There are many rich Christians. I guess you think you can judge them all as sinners because they have money. Who is the real sinner?

      9. Dear Victoria.

        Shalom,

Please do not be insulted by everyone that do not agree with you. Than it will be impossible to debate with you.

        You wrote:

        My comment:

I guess I understood it very well. I better follow the Word of God as it is written, and not your take on the scriptures. There are many reasons why people think they are smarter and more wise than Jesus.

        My reply:

If you claim that your hand has never lead you into sin, than you are a liar and a hypocrite. That you ask me this question, do expose you my dearest sister. Only the Pharisees presented them selves as perfect. Jesus did not have nice words for them.

So you want me to cut my hands off, Ivar? The gospel according to Ivar, it’s no gospel at all.

      1. Dear Victoria.

        Shalom.

        My reply:

Not at all. But accept that you are a sinner, who do commit mistakes. Even after you were saved. Jesus explains to us how serious sin is. If we hide or deny our sins, we become hypocrites.

      2. I guess you need to try to change and side track this debate with insults to me and a different topic, just like you did in the other thread about The People of the Book. I’m not falling for you horrible debate practices.

  28. Ivar said:

You should read more carefully what others write. I guess to insult you means one gets to have brute lies spoken about them.

You are the one who thinks he is smarter and wiser than Jesus. I only gave you scripture. You made up things that aren’t in the Bible.

You said it is a sin to remain rich. No where is that in the Bible, no where. You quote Jesus saying it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven.
Jesus said it was hard, but not impossible!

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. You should be more careful in what you say Jesus says.

    1. Dear Victoria.

      Shalom.

      You wrote:

And so is it for a camel to enter through the eye of a needle. Very hard, but of course not totally impossible. Do you want to be among the exceptions?

  29. You need to read the Word of God and what is says concerning the Kingdom of God.
God’s people is suffering defeat for a LACK OF KNOWLEDGE. THEREFORE HE HAS REJECTED YOU FROM BEING KINGS AND PRIESTS.
NOW faith is, NOW is the day of SALVATION. Now is the day of His Kingdom.
Jesus is King NOW, It is not a futurstic event. And if He is the King of Kings, then I am a king NOW.
The Kingdom of God is RIGHTEOUSNESS, PEACE AND JOY IN THE HOLY SPIRIT.
NOW is the time for righteousness peace and joy in the Holy Spirit!
Let go of your ignorance and bow to the King of Kings.
All over the World apostles and prophets are speaking about the manifestation of the Kingdom of God on the EARTH as IT IS IN HEAVEN.
Nobody can stop it because it is a DIVINE WORK OF GOD.
    AMEN.

    1. Dear Gerda.

Shalom, and welcome to this site.

      You wrote:

      My reply:

I guess from the Pope to pastor Bill Johnson. The Bible says its the children of the devil, who builds his kingdom on Earth.

      1 John 5:19
We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.

The King of Kings has made me His Son. But the Kingdom He has called me to serve is not to be found on the Earth. My citizenship is in Heaven, and the true church is a rescue operation to save people from the false “Kingdom builders”.

    2. Gerda,

You said:Jesus is King NOW, It is not a futurstic event. And if He is the King of Kings, then I am a king NOW.

My Comment: Jesus is King, but Our Savior told us that no man, nor the angels, not even himself, but only the father knows when he’s coming.

Matthew 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Let go of what ties you down to this earth Gerda, for the leader of this world is satan. But just for a short time. Christ comes soon with great power and glory, and with judgment.

      Gloria

  30. Dear Gerda

Dominionist theology is a false doctrine. We are not to strive for political power, worldly power. The world hates Our Lord because His Kingdom is not of this world. If the world hates us then we are doing something right. KING Jesus has power over all nations and he doesn’t need His children to attain political power” for Him”. His Word keeps the world spinning. It is foolish worldliness to gain earthly power to build His kingdom. This is the Pope’s game plan. Dominion theology is following in his footsteps …

  31. Gerda.
I checked your link. You do embrace Dominionism. It speaks about a global transformation ..there is one coming. It’s world government and world religion not this ‘christian dominion ‘ gained through political power.
I urge you in love to leave this false movement.
Live in His spirit, not this world where the enemy reigns.
    In Him.
    Sue

  32. Thank you so much for your efforts to top the devil. In all humble intension I have a question (that is not to be answered but is for you alone).
Since God has revealed Bill’s need for light (just as the apostle Paul) how much time do you spend praying for him and his soul? Thanks For the blogs, we should start a prayer chain for this man 🙂 Jesus would like that, he died for him too. God Bless

  33. Sir you’d better be VERY Certain you are not calling the Holy Spirit a demon. Would that be treading on unpardonable…………….. please be very certain.

  34. I love the kingdom of God. It’s righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
We are seated with Christ in heavenly places.
God has given us power to cast out demons, heal the sick and raise the dead.
We are also called to make disciples.

    1. Amen that is dominion, I dont care what bill johnson preach, i have no connection with him either, but i preach the gospel of the Kingdom. Jesus preached the Gospel of the Kingdom and the apostles preached the gospel of the Kingdom.
The gospel of the kingdom is not just salvation, that is not the FULL gospel.
We are to be conformed to image of Christ, and He had dominion, he walked on the water, he multiplied the bread & fish, He turned water into wine, study the early church in the book of Acts, they FAVOUR WITH GOD AND WITH ALL MEN. That is dominion. To rule in the midst of your enemies.I dont know bill johnson, and i did not say anything about political power. But I know that the SONS of God must arise as Kings on the earth.
The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof,
His glory must cover the earth as the waters cover the sea.
I have news for you, God is not going to destroy the earth, for the Bible says the kingdoms of this world will become the Kingdom of our Lord!!!

  35. I am in Oslo right now and would like to meet with anyone who needs clarity about these matters: baptism of the Holy Spirit and kingdom now theology.
Come let us reason together, Paul prayed to God to deliver him from unreasonable men.

  36. i greet you in the name of our lord jesus christ,a happy- for you brother who have stand on faith,am pastor moses Adie pastoring in the slums of kibera kenya i am interested exchage program with you man of God. in our church apart from preaching the gospel of jesus christ we are doing the economic empowerment, training the members who to be rich in bible way just as it written in the book of 8:18 at the same time we have pastors felowship we train pastors in good gorvance.

  37. It’s one thing to make a whole lot of comments on a webpage, but it is quite another to front up to Bill Johnson and his colleagues and address your concerns directly to him. That takes courage. It doesn’t take much courage to type a stuff on a website and accuse people of being false, leading others into deception. I’ll bet the author of the article has not the gumption or the respect to make an appointment with Bill Johnson, meet him face to face and put his accusations to him in person. I see the article is just a list of cowardly, disrespectful slanders on a man of God whose sole purpose is to glorify Jesus.

    1. Dear Paul

Shalom, and welcome to this site.

      You wrote:

      My comment:

Yes, there are three people I would like to meet face to face. Obama, the pope and Bill Johnson. If you can arrange appointments, please feel free.

  38. Sad to see the spirit of disunity and pharisaic hard-heartedness is alive in the church. I don’t condemn these characteristics as heretical but lovingly pray for a softening of their hearts to reflect the loving God we serve. “Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.” And one by one they slunk away in their nakedness and shame.

  39. Dear brothers in Christ,
I have been a Christian for some years and am alarmed at the Kingdom now teaching. Admittedly it does take some study to see the enormous flaws in Kingdom now teaching and I do not ask that you believe me but do ask that you consider Gods word thoughtfully.

It is not a case that we are not invited to reign and serve, some may say enter into the Melchisadec priest hood. Melchi = king and zadoc = Priest sorry about the spelling not my strong suit. However the issue is of course the timing. Is it the fullness of the kindom actually now? My understanding of Danial and Revelation is that the expression Times time and half a time relates to the reign of antichrist. After the Lord comes back, the perusia or coming in clouds as our sematarians would suggest, no pun intended we then enter the thousand years with Christ on earth. This is called the millenium.

Bill and his cohort Chris Volotron? speak of the promises in Daniel 7 around verse 28 or so are directly after times time and half a time are ignored because the promises that follow this phrase are stated as being available NOW. According to my understanding this is not only wrong but setting up an expectation for Reigning that is not possile and secondly for a person to be who is to reign like Christ does not need to be holy as this movement hates with a passion the process of sanctification I have spoken with several of the churches under this teaching and spent months talking to Bills people on what constitutes salvation and have been informed that repentance is not needed for salvation and that if you not utube, the new man in Christ is in fact the new flesh. What a phrase the new flesh, it is an insane teaching that trys to negated the need to deal with the flesh and in fact recreates it as Godly flesh this I do believe. However we do need to have the flesh dealt with not ignored and told our sinful flesh is actually godly.

I come from the latter rain, not the new Kansas city prophets vesion but the original 48 move in Canada, we believe the feast of Passover in the old testament relates to salvation, Pentecost relates to baptism in the spirit and tabernacles is about growing into the full nature of Christ as per Eph 4 under the leadership of the five fold ministry. Yes some of you may wish to ignore this model and so discount all of what I have said on the kingdom now teaching.

I have greater faith in my evangelical brothers coming to full maturity than I currently do my spirit filled brothers as we are so constantly looking for short cuts very immature. Paul promotes death to the flesh to take on the nature of Christ. It is my belief that the time of the feast of Tabernacles is upon us, what do I mean by that , just that there is a call to come out of the world, not to embrace it. The first part of Tabernacle is trumpets, you will find a clear call to “come out of her my people” I pray you hear and respond.

Our heart and not our knowledge will determine if we are to be decieved by this very seductive teaching. If I the scripture is right this is only the beginning of things to come. As a close friend said this teaching that come from Kris was so lacking in scriptural understanding it was amazinng why almost an entire audience agreed that the fless is good the soul does not need saving as it is good and laughed at a very lude story to show that Christians should not be too spiritual but can be normal

Kingdom now has wordly element to it and wanting to take what is not theirs YET. Like driving a car or drinking alcohol as a nine year old.

May God bless you as you consider this and the leading of the holy spirit. I also urge you to test the spirits that come before your pulpits and ensure they line up with the word, It may be that discernment is when you know that somethign is wrong but not sure why. Lastly what do you think would happen to your teeth if you ate fairy floss for every meal?

Some have said that to say holy or good is bad and that bad flesh and the fallen soul is good is nothing less than antichrist. I wish Bill Kris and the others that follow this teaching understanding to see the gross error of this teaching

    Regards Oskar

    1. Yes, Oskar,
like so many other dangerous teachings and movements, the danger is not always apparent right away – it can take a bit of ‘digging’ to find out what a teacher or a movement actually stand for.

But we need to be diligent and faithful, for te sake of the flock.

Bill Johnson seems to be ‘nice’, and a smooth talker. It’s easy to be fooled by such.

So we really need to test the teaching. And one recurring theme whith BJ and Bethel Redding seems to be the dominionist view of us being ‘like God’, or ‘Christlike’ in a sense, that the Lord never intended. Their teaching rather seems to echo the Serpents words in Eden: ‘you will be like God’…

So many other streams – both whithin ‘christendom’ and without – move in this same direction, of human ‘divinity’, and the ‘discovery’ of our ‘true identity’ and such.

The New Age is full of this.
Mindfulness meditation has this ‘realisation of truth’ at its core.
In Kundalini yoga, the ‘light’ received when the serpent has slithered up the spine, to the ‘crown chakra’, is supposed to give you an insight into your own divinity, and into a sense of at-one-ment whith everything…

We need desperately to see tat these same currents are moving strongly within ‘christianity’, and it’s sweeping a lot of people along.
Seeing how far this has already gone, it isn’t too hard to imagine how, one day (soon), ALL the world will unite in a sense of ‘at-one-ment’ whith ‘god’.

It is interesting that BJ and Bethel talk of ‘Melchizedec’ as something we can operate in (I thought this was exclusive to Jesus Christ Himself, being both King and High Priest).

(By the way, another one who claims the Melchizedec title is the ‘Maitreya/Christ’ figure of New Age prophet Benjamin Crème! His messages are conveyed by a demon ‘master’.)

  41. Interestingly a very spirit filled Christian told me this week of an incident when he received a strong word of knowledge to go to a man who was publicly condemning the Toronto movement from his pulpit. He pleaded with the minister that the Spirit had urged him to go to him and beg him to stop opposing God and grieving His Holy Spirit. My friend is in no way directly connected to this movement, merely responding to what he believed to be God’s urging.

We can be sincere and we can be sincerely wrong. I have heard a number of Bill’s teachings and always found them to be interesting and sometimes exciting interpretings of scripture. I believe him to be sincere and I believe that the key tenets of Christian doctrine are intact in his extensive works. On detail he may possibly get it slightly off key, on this I could not be sure. However I think this vehement arguing against Bill’s ministry is destructive to the body. I pray for you to stop and consider what you really can realisticly achieve.

    1. Dear Murray

      Shalom.

      My comment:

There might be many interesting “interpretings of scripture”. The Pope has one, Bill another.

      1. All who have endorsed a man like Todd Bentley as a Christian, have no discernment at all. They have also no problem with endorsing other antichrists either.

      2. Kingdom Now is an ideology who claim man shall take the Earth for Christ. One of the best preachers of this ideology is the Pope. Bill Johnson and Rick Joyner are a couple of others.

    2. We are told to test the spirits, and ‘believe not every spirit’.

Not all so called ‘spirit filled Christians’ can truly have the Holy Spirit of God, and then go on to say totally opposing things on the same subject.

And since the Toronto spectacle so clearly was not of God, then this person cannot have been led by the true Spirit of God to defend it!

  42. As a child in the 1960s I attended a non charismatic church where any “faith’ I had withered on the vine. No sense of God’s presence at all. No answered prayer, just an aging and diminishing congregation. The “Holy Ghost” was never discussed, just God the father and God the son. When the spirit is absent there is no growth.

If we diminish the reality of the Holy Spirit in His reality then He will not manifest. I was not present for the Toronto Blessing so I can only read many of the reports from various perspectives. The critics seem to be saying “these things don’t happen on God’s watch” and “where does scripture reveal these types of things?”

What were the sceptics saying on the morning of Pentecost? Seems to me they were revealing what the sceptics are saying today of things like the “Toronto Blessing”, and the “Welsh Revival”. The disciples on teh day of Pentecost seemed to be manifesting the power of the Holy Spirit in similar style to contemporary revival movements.

I have seen in print what your fellow sceptics have written about Bill Johnson’s theology and much of it does their argument no favours. If you distort what this man says in the way much of it has been you are doing similar to “taking a verse of scripture out of context”. We should know the dangers of that.

I have no particular adherence to Bill Johnson’s ministry. I attended a couple of his sessions earlier this year. I have been loaned several of his teaching DVDs. Bill’s Bible is always open and spoken throughout. If we look at the fruits of his ministry at Bethel Church we see young people coming to full time ministry in evangelism and music. The music is inspiring a generation (and more) to fully give themselves over to the Lord in worship and adoration. Jesus Culture is a powerful force in contemporary worship music.

I heard similar types of criticism of certain popular worship churches and their original songs. That these were not true “songs of genuine worship” has been discarded 10 years on and the churches grow in following.

Heresy is a very serious charge to lay on any Christian group. I have no hesitation in saying that it is abundantly clear, enormously clear, that LDS is a cult which borrows from Christianity. Likewise many other sects like JW I can clearly discern their fundamental departure from essential doctrine. In everything I have heard from Johnson, live or on video I can discern no serious departure from essential Christian doctrine. Maybe the point of argument becomes the word “essential” above.

On the other hand I have seen Johnson’s intentions misconstrued by naysayers here and elsewhere by applying emphasis and contextual distortion. I have to question your true motives to be brutally frank. It pains me to hear Christian against Christian, how much more must it grieve Jesus. I pray for softening of your heart in this having researched the critical record against Bill Johnson. Perhaps I am wrong in my assessment but it does Christendom no good to have these petty battles. I realise you see this as far from petty but I believe you have become blinded to other more important forces. I pray for you, that you would not diminish in people’s minds the power of God’s Holy Spirit to transform both spiritually and physically.

When I received Jesus as my saviour 10 years ago, that event was attended by a powerful manifestation of the Holy Spirit. You will never convince me that I was drunk on demonic spirits. While I believe it’s possible to live a life of true faith without discerning any sense of the presence of the Holy Spirit, it’s a little like the argument that it’s possible to be a Christian without going to church – fine in theory but practically speaking, unlikely.

    1. Dear Murray

      Shalom.

      Are there copies of Jesus?

If the answer is yes, we better become aware of their classical ID-marks.

      This link might be useful:

      https://ivarfjeld.wordpress.com/2011/12/29/the-parallel-kingdom-of-jesus-controlled-by-lucifer/

The most prominent copy of “Jesus” is the replacement theology Messiah. He is a rebel, and do not pay attention to the eternal promises of God to the Jewish people.

The Charismatic Church, and in particular, the World of Faith movement follow another copycat. Their “Jesus” took Satan’s nature on the cross, and was sent to Hell.

What blasphemy. Just replace the word “Jesus” with “God”. Did God really take Satan’s nature?

This kind of Jesus-doctrine is called “Jesus died spiritually”. (JDS). Just google this topic if you do not believe me.

This kind of “Jesus” is followed by men like Kenneth Copeland, Kenneth Hagin, Joyce Meyer, etc. We must not permit this kind of poison to spread inside Christian fellowships.

  43. I have never heard any of these types of assertions or anything near them in the several hours of Bill Johnson I have listened to. I have to assume you are listening to a different Bill Johnson from a different Bethel Church! I assure you I would be running a mile if I heard such false theology. Likewise I never heard any such claims about Jesus’ from Joyce Mayer who preaches a down to earth form of practical Christianity.

Your claim of “poison” is a bit rich without providing clear quotes while assassinating these preachers with a stroke of your pen. Nowhere in your link is their evidence worth me looking at. If you have something self-evident for me to examine by all means present it but it seems like you may be throwing hate around where some grace would suffice, ivarfjeld.

I certainly am not perceiving devil’s theology coming from Bill Johnson and Joyce Mayer. I read widely on ethics, philosophy and theology, apologetics etc. I don’t get where you are coming from.

    1. Dear Murray

      Shalom.

      You wrote:

…it seems like you may be throwing hate around where some grace would suffice..

      My reply:

You do not have to listen to me. No one forced your to come and read this website, and you are free to leave.

All articles on this site, have link’s to the source of information. The World of Faith doctrines are not hidden. The records of men like Kenneth Copeland, Kenneth Hagin, Benny Hinn, Treflo Dollar, etc, is available.

Bill Johnson is the new kid in town, the third generation of Word of Faith preachers. He has the Word of Faith teachers as mentors. He walk in the same spirit. It is called “impartation”, and given by laying of hands, or by praying for the same “anointing”.

Here are some few points about their teaching, fruits of a “Jesus” that took Satan’s nature on the cross.

      1. They are lovers of money. They preach about money all the time.

      2. They promise a giver 30,50 or 100 times return on their cash, given to prosperity ministries.

      3. They all endorse the outpouring of spirits from Toronto. (1991) (The Toronto revival). Gold dust, insane laughing, animal noises, and being “drunk in the spirit”.

      4. They all adore God.tv, and the global distribution of the prosperity gospel.

      5. They all endorsed the ‘Lakeland revival”. On this “TV Show”, Todd Bentley was presented as a Christian. He baptized people in the name of “Father, son and BAM”.

Bill Johnson is the worst of flock. He has given Todd Bentley a chance to re-enter Churches with his filth and falsehood.

      1. He drank alcohol behind the stage at Lakeland.
      2. He betrayed God and his wife.
      3. He was a pimp, who had sex with his housekeeper.
      4. He divorced his wife.
      5. He has made his housekeeper his second wife.
      6. He has been restored by Rick Joyner and Bill Johnson, and permitted to minister together with his housekeeper, presented as “wife”.

Let me remind you about Mathew 7: 21-24. Jesus said: I NEVER knew you. NEVER, means not for a single minute. These are men who walk in falsehood, misusing his name, being deceived to accept a false Holy Spirit.

If the above information is not exposure of falsehood, than nothing is.

  44. To the Author of this blog/thread

To me it sounds like you might be responding in a similar manner the way the Pharisee’s did in response to Jesus and his ministry and the miracles He did. People who are religious, truly religious, will respond in hate to the nature of God.

I like what the brother said earlier in this thread about them being our brothers and sisters and that even though they may differ on the way they present some doctrine and have a few doctrines you don’t it doesn’t mean they are heretical. They still preach the meat and potatoes, the need for Jesus for salvation which is restoring your relationship to the father.

    1. Dear Jason.

      Shalom, and love in Jesus.

I have no problem being called a Pharisee. The Pope and his Church, surely believe I am an heretic too.

The problem with many Christians, Is that they do not take the Messiah seriously. When Jesus say thee will come copy-cats of Him, such Christians avoid the topic.

      Why?

Because is is painful to repent, and follow Jesus of the Bible. You have basically to give up all the fleshy desires, and follow Him.

  45. The lord our god has placed on my heart that his churches are a sleep his people are asleep and its time to waken them for he is doing something new.
A revival is coming are his disciples in line to be a part of his glory are we ready to surrender all that we are. Our old sinful flesh is to die and Christ that is in us to be resurrected. A consuming fire is raging we are there the door is wide open we have stepped straight thru that door but we are bound at our feet were we can see what he’s doing but just cant seem to push a head a roadblock has formed but the lord tells you this its only thru Christ that we smash thru this road block. He’s longing for our final attention he wants us totally surrendered to him he wants us to lean on him the lord wants that special relationship with you.
A lying deceptive spirit has wormed its way into churches a religious spirit has formed were gods people are using grace as a get out of jail card but the lord sees all. We are grieving the holy spirit he convicts us once twice three times but then we still chose to be disobedient and because we have grieved the holy spirit we use grace as a cover up to say well were not perfect and god knows my heart well am sorry but if Christ is in us then we won’t want to dishonour our lord. See this when we understand grace we respect and love our commandments because we know our old sinful flesh fell far short of the mark but our new Christ in us spirit strives and loves the law, because we are living under the grace.
Brothers and sisters its time get that special relationship back with Christ see yourself as Christ sees you. Heal the sick, raise the dead, spread the good news, free the oppressed, be the light in the darkness, love my people

please note do not be side tracked by what is going on in the world i,e youtube conspiracy theories and so on all that matters is what the lord is speaking into your hearts. ,

Christ’s Love is the whole meaning of life

  46. Hi everyone,

I couldn’t help but notice that there’s a lot of confusion about the kingdom of God. While I agree completely that our ultimate home is heaven and our ultimate rule is on the new earth/new Jerusalem after Jesus’ return, Jesus himself states that the kingdom is here right now. In response to the Pharisees questions of when the kingdom of God would come, he said “the coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, nor will people say, ‘here it is’, or ‘there it is’, BECAUSE THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS IN YOUR MIDST.” – Luke 17:21. (I only put that in all caps because it’s the point of my entire post). Maybe there’s some confusion about the difference between heaven, the literal location, and the kingdom of God.

As for all of the comments about strange manifestations of the Holy Spirit like laughter and shaking, I’m sure that there are Christians who fake these things and I do believe that there are demonic spirits that can take control of people and produce strange manifestations. But I’m wondering how you’re discerning every single manifestation (at least that’s what it seems like) as being demonic. If we see something strange, do we just assume it’s from Satan? Jesus himself was often called demon possessed. Maybe one of the problems is that we can only discern what’s happening outwardly when the Holy Spirit manifests like this, and not inside the person. What if that laughter is coming from a revelation of that person’s freedom in Christ and is out of joy and coming straight from God’s word? What if that person shaking is having an encounter with God and is being radically healed and shown his or her identity in Christ? Yes, we should discern, but we should do so cautiously, not condemning things just because they make is feel uncomfortable. If we’re not experiencing joy and real freedom when Jesus has paid the ultimate price for us, set us free from sin, restored us spiritually and physically, sealed us with the Holy Spirit, and repaired our relationship with the father, and declared us righteous apart from the law that requires works then maybe there’s a problem. When I first visited a church where laughter (joy), and other physical manifestations (I’ve never heard anyone make and animal noise before… That sounds sketchy) weren’t abnormal, I was uncomfortable initially because I wasn’t even considering what was happening inside these people. When I learned later that some of these people were former prostitutes whose life’s had been transformed, former athiests who had encountered Jesus’ love, etc. I immediately knew I had judged wrongly. How could I tell someone who had been a slave to sex and was now radically transformed because of What Jesus did that his joy was unfounded? How could I tell someone who used to struggle with homosexuality and had been set free and redeemed all in the name of Jesus that he should probably keep the laughter and tears to a minimum? How could I tell a women who’s father used to rape her and sacrifice her babies for satanic rituals that the Holy Spirit that had filled her when she was set free in Jesus name was actually a demonic spirit? And yes, these were real scenarios. Ivar, if demonic spirits are entering people who have repented of their sins, accepted Jesus’ grace, are renewing their minds to what God’s word says about their identity and have asked for the Holy Spirit to fill them, then the battle’s lost. When asked if Jesus was casting out demons using the power of satan He said “a kingdom divided will fall”. Satan doesn’t set people free in the name of Jesus. I’ve had two pretty crazy encounters with the Holy Spirit. Both were scriptural yet would probably freak you out and no one will ever be able to convince me I’m possessed by a demon.

Concerning Bill Johnson, he is seriously one of most Godly men I know. He’s spoken at my church and not once did he talk about the money and wealth that you claim he is obsessed with. I’ve also watched hours upon hours of his sermon videos and not once heard that mentioned. Any riches he preached was the joy of knowing God and living with a constantly renewed mind just as the bible teaches. He preaches that kingdom is in our midst (Luke 21:17) and that we are heirs to Christ. Of course we will be persecuted, Jesus promised that, but he still gave us a commission and equipped us to carry it out. Please don’t think that because somebody preaches the kingdom in our midst that they think life will be giggles and rainbows. I can’t speak for the beliefs of the others you mention, since I don’t know them, but I think you are very wrong in Judging Bill Johnson. The Bible makes it very clear that their will be false teachings in the last days, and sadly we are quick to falsely condemn others without thinking that this could be referring to us.

    Yours in Christ,

    Ben

  47. “the kingdom is in your midst”

That is being grossly misapplied in recent years as a basis to justify the plethora of new “communty-based” churches, which have as their main focus doing good social works among the people, to be able to make friends with non xian parts of the community. It strips the gospel of its effectiveness….Those same churches are generally (almost always) weak on preaching the full gospel of salvation. Why? Because the “gospel” currently dominant in the emerging charisdramatic churches, prefers to have their “Jesus” as an enfeebled mascot figure-head, a guru, a role model, a wise man, social activist, political radical, legal advocate, one who never challenges “my lifestyle choices”-rather affirms them; a mystic, one spiritual leader among many. A party animal, entertainer, cool guy, close friend etc etc all the trendy stuff. But no, oh no, you start to preach Jesus Christ and Him crucified, original sin, the cross, the blood of the Lamb, repentance, discipleship etc-they arent so keen “thats all legalism brother, we are under GRACE now….”

    1. Right. Anyone who teaches that is wrong and mislead. I complete agree. But just because someone believes in the kingdom in our midst, doesn’t mean they believe in a watered down gospel. I’m sorry, but you are mislead on our stereotype.

We should never EVER forget the importance of repentance from sins, Jesus crucified and resurrected etc. I’m definitely not negating that. But The author of Hebrews in chapters 5 and 6 actually rebukes the church for not being able to move past “elementary teachings of Christ”, which includes faith in God, repentance from sin, etc. the apostle wasn’t negating their importance, he was just telling the church that there was more concerning their righteousness and identity that he could not yet teach them because they still did not have a form handle on the basics. When Jesus taught the disciples for forty days after he was resurrected, his topic of choice was the kingdom of God. Acts 1:3.

  48. “But The author of Hebrews in chapters 5 and 6 actually rebukes the church for not being able to move past “elementary teachings of Christ”, which includes faith in God, repentance from sin, etc.”

Very true, but the modern Church does a serious disservice by neglecting to bother with even those basic “elementary teachings”, and instead promote a profoundly superficial falsehood with what they consider to be a suitable ecumental substitute. As a result there are plenty of trendy new churches that openly and brazenly attempt to live with sin rather than confront it. They bend over backward to be friends with the community, not condemn, not judge, not criticise, are sure to tolerate sinful behaviours-but dont require members to necessarily be born again…. They want a carnal social club Jesus who pleases them, entertains them (but not a Jesus who issues orders and makes demands…) they prefer Him to be one of the guys, fashion icon, media brand, tolerant philosopher, adventurer etc. The minute a holy ghost preacher asserts the divine character of the Son of God, and preaches Christ and Him crucified-oohhhh sorry dude, thats WAY too heavy, thats too religious and legalistic. I’ve seen that happen.
I have been in churches influenced by that B J phenomenon. I refused to go back any more. They like glitter, oil on hands, gold teeth, coins on the walls, weird personal prophecy etc. Much emphasis on totally unecessary spiritual warfare, prayer houses etc. They welcome new age type spirituality. I refer to it as charisdramatic manifestations. It appeals to the flesh-when the Bible elementary basics teach us we should actually die to our old carnal nature and our self-life. Too much of the modern church thrives on maintaining the old self life and making it appear to feel good.

“The visions of your prophets were false and worthless
They did not expose your sin to ward off your captivity
The oracles they gave you were false and misleading”

” Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it”

  49. I can tell your passionate about this post. I just don’t understand why you are judging when only God has the authority to judge. Just because you believe evil spirits are attached to these leaders doesn’t mean you are correct for you are only man.

    Matthew 12:24
24But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, “It is only by Beelzebul, the prince of demons, that this fellow drives out demons.”

25Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand. 26If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand? 27And if I drive out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your people drive them out? So then, they will be your judges. 28But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

    1. Dear Jared east

      Shalom, and love in Jesus.

      You wrote:

      My comment:

This is a classical error within the Charismatic circles of Pentacostalism. People are not permitted to jugde betweeen right and wrong, true and false, real and conunterfaith.

No need to use discernement. Just accpet what the big or the lesser Popes are presenting to you. And be sure to thrown everyone with the gift of discernment under the buss.

Who to you know that Jehovah Witnesses are not followers of the true Jesus, without studying their doctrines, and coming up with a conclusion?

Do you have any knowledge about gnostisism, and the copies of “Christ” that have been preached in the past?

  50. The main problem that I see with prosperity gospel teachers is that they “put the cart before the horse”. Yes, I believe that the Lord has brought material blessing to the West because of the presence of His Bride there, but it is evil to be anything but grateful for what He has done–to constantly ask for more is greedy and the New Testament roundly condemns greed in the followers of Jesus. To openly and feverishly seek God’s material blessing as an end in itself is to invite the evil one into our midst as “the love of money is the root of all evil”.

What did Jesus have to say about material blessing? Matthew 6:25-34 is a very forceful message on the subject: ” ‘Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will He not much more clothe you—you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

We simply are not supposed to be preoccupied with anything but seeing souls saved. And God will supply all our NEEDS (not our greedy WANTS).
