Jesus of the Bible is also mocked in a similar way in the “Church” of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem. The ugly fights between Roman Catholics and different Catholic Orthodox priests and monks, stands next to nothing to what else the Sons of Hell are doing on Earth.

The first basilica on this site was begun by Saint Helena, the mother of the Emperor Constantine I. Under the supervision of Bishop Makarios of Jerusalem, the construction started in 327 and was completed in 333. That structure was burnt down in the Samaritan Revolt of 529.

The church is administered jointly by Roman Catholic, Greek Orthodox and Armenian Apostolic authorities. All three traditions maintain monastic communities on the site.

That the traditions of man say that Jesus was born in a manger at this site in Bethlehem, is as worthless as other traditions of men. If might be so, and it might be not. I could care less.
The truth is that Jesus was born in the most difficult circumstances, and was even rejected by his own family. There was not a single room for his mother and step father in Bethlehem. The Prophetic Word do not give us the location of the manger. And the Bible tell us that the exact location of His birth is not important, because it us not mentioned in the scriptures, that was written decades after Jesus had risen from the dead.

Damien, I live 10 minutes from the church in question, and yes you are right the cleaning day does happen every year. However, “rival!?” priests don’t battle each other with brooms every year. And as for the cut and paste job above, the church is built on one of 3 sites, locally believed to be the site of “Jesus'” birth, pseudo Christ/Mithra worshipper Helen surveyed upon her mission to Judea to find “holy sites”. The site in question was long held as a sight of Tammuz worship, and the cave which is held to be the place of “Jesus'” birth is another example of Helen’s fuzzy logic in selecting sights from “Jesus'” life. At best a case of”Well it has a pre-existing pagan place of worship there, so this must mean it is a biblical site being obscured by pagans”. Or at worst “This will be a way to consolidate the existing beliefs of our conquered lands under the banner of our new state sanctioned religion “christianity”.
Either is suspect, and as someone who has visited both this site and the church of the “holy” sepulchre in Jerusalem, for research not to “worship” the graven images held therein. The pan handling, buy a candle, kiss the rock, dollar in the dish mentality of the custodians is shocking, it is this profitable trade in pilgrims which has caused a tenuous status quo to rise up in this profitable sites under their care. And this greed and desire it was fuels the hatred they hold for each other. The “holy” sepulchre in Jerusalem was built on a site of a temple to Venus, “cult prostitution” anyone? The keys to its door are held by a local muslim family for generations, due to the mammon fuelled staus quo. And it holds many pseudo biblical places of veneration, one being the rock of anointing, which pilgrims rub their vatican anctioned oil and clths upon to take imparted holiness home?! The slab in question was put in place in the early 1800’s and is clearly documented as such?!

Well, this is what you say but there are also others who say Messiah is already here… and I said “for heaven sakes no” read what Yeshua said and I was rebuffed over and over again. Problem is no one wants to listen.
