Benjamin Netanyahu has been denied an appointment with Obama in October. The PM of Israel is to meet with Clinton

The White House’s response marks a new low in relations between Netanyahu and Obama, underscored by the fact that this is the first time Netanyahu will visit the U.S. as prime minister without meeting Obama; PM to meet with Clinton
The White House declined Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s request on Tuesday to meet U.S. President Barack Obama during a UN conference in New York at the end of the month.

My comment:
After the Democratic convention flip-flop in regards to Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, this news is quite spectacular.
You should expect President Obama give priority to insure Israel that the White House support for the Jewish state is genuine.
But President Obama has another problem to solve. The Arab World was not exactly happy with the statement from the Democratic convention. To convince the sons of Islam that Obama still regards them as a proper future proprietor of East Jerusalem, Obama’s logic is to keep Netanyahu at some distance.
The double talk of this US President is one of its kind in modern history of the United States.
The death of the US Ambassador in Libya is yet another proof of the complete failure of the Middle East politics of the Obama Administration. It is worth noticing that the Islamic attack on the US mission, came less than 24 hours after the commander in chief in Washington agains cursed the Prime Minister of Israel.
