A church in Colorado with about 1,000 members is considering dismissal from the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).
The leadership at First Presbyterian Church of Fort Collins cited “Irreconcilable spiritual differences” in their consideration of seeking dismissal from the PC(USA), as the recommendation for dismissal was brought before the congregation on Sunday.
Dan Saperstein, executive presbyter of the Presbytery of Plains and Peaks, which First Presbyterian belongs to at present, provided The Christian Post with a statement.
“I am saddened by the decision of the leadership of First Presbyterian Church, Fort Collins to recommend that the congregation seek dismissal from the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.),” said Saperstein.
“First Presbyterian Church has a long and historic relationship with our denomination. It is a valued member and partner in the presbytery whose dismissal would have a significant impact on our common work and witness for Christ in Northern Colorado.”
First Presbyterian is one of many PC(USA) congregations across the country that have voted to leave the mainline Protestant denomination due to the decision at the 219th General Assembly to allow presbyteries to decide to ordain noncelibate homosexuals to church positions.

Also in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), supporters of sodomy rules and governs.
The Book of Revelation explains that there will be a huge apostate “Church” as we approach the coming of her beloved antichrist. She is the whore of Babylon, and idolatrous religious gathering, the mother of all harlots.
The Bible explains, that we all must come out of her. So we do not become guilty of participating in her sins.

Amen I soul also rejoices when anyone decides to leave any denominational Church and full, spirit, soul and body follow Jesus Christ! That is a blessing to the Household of Faith!
False doctrines have been taught in many churches for years but now it is becoming clear. Return to the Bible which is the True Word of God and learn of the True Jesus Christ who is the Word of God who became flesh and walked among man.
I asked a Methodist I know why they accept gay pastors at their church. He said “Romans 2..you all read Romans 1, but forget Romans 2”
It still didn’t answer the question.

We can’t blame the devil for ‘everything’ as I’m seeing some of this has to do with the fact that MANY, do NOT read their Word, want to “go their own way”, and accept just about ‘anything’ that is given to them (rather than checking to see, and believe, what the Word of God says about each ‘issue’. When these folks come to stand before the Lord in Judgment, Many will be shocked and quite saddened at their outcomes. Have mercy Lord Jesus.

@Anj..I don’t know. He seems like a heretic to me. He doesn’t think the Bible is the word of God (it “contains” the word of God and he’s also a Preterist. (They believe Jesus already came back 70 AD!)
I have since found out the majority of Christians believe this tripe! (most reform churches, catholic , church of Christ,episcopal and some Lutheran also. Basically, the mainline churches.

It’s more than sad, it’s dangerous to their souls as well. How about seeing what God has to say about all of this???
When I say ‘it is sad’ it covers the spirit soul and body plus all that The Lord Jesus had ‘for’ those who reject Him, for those who use The Word for their benefit and take no regard for The Price and Abundant Love Almighty God has and paid for each person! yes it is sad, sad that even one person would race to hell refusing His Truth, sad in an abundance of areas!
Now, I believe that part of Jesus’s prophecy was about 70 AD (the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple) but they take his prophecy to extremes. If we are in the millennium now, then I was cheated. 😉

We are in SERIOUS trouble folks, if we don’t pay heed to our faith in Christ Jesus…get out from among these people and seek the Lord thy God with all thine heart less HE reveals His wrath upon you also!
Do you see what Paul is saying? He’s saying Christians should get along with the ipeople of the world, immoral or otherwise. Only people who call themselves Christians should fellow Christians judge and not associate with if they are very immoral.
