Jesus not invited to Jerusalem Prayer Banquet

The Messiah is not invited to the “peace process” that will make people of all faith united around the future of Jerusalem.

Robert Stearns and Pat Robertson are deceivers of the flock, promoting end time unity of all faiths in Jerusalem.

The Jerusalem Prayer Banquet, to be held in New York City next month and feature former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee as a guest speaker, promises to offer attendees a new perspective on the importance of Jerusalem for people of all faiths.

The event was organized by Eagles’ Wings, a global mission community with a network of supporters in Germany and Jerusalem founded by its executive director Dr. Robert Stearns.

“First of all, I hope that people will realize that people of every background – Jewish, Christian, Muslim, agnostic, people of every background who believe in human rights and human freedoms, [will] find themselves linked together in the question of Jerusalem’s future. I am hopeful that will be a new perspective for some,” said Stearns.

My comment:

What do “Christian” leaders such as Jack Hayford, Frederick K.C. Price, Pat Boone, John Hagee, and Harry Jackson have in common?

If you have 100.000 US dollar available for donation, you will get the right to wine and dine with them at a banquette in New York.

And they promote “end time unity” of all faiths in Jerusalem.

These “preachers” do not preach that Jesus is the Messiah to Jews, and that those who rejects him will perish.  They are more or less convinced that the gospel is an office to Jews, and that the blood of Jesus do not save Jews form eternal condemnation.

The blood of Jesus is only for the gentiles, to whom they preach. And in particular for people with money. Men like John Hagee preach that “poverty is a curse”.

Christian preachers must stand with Israel is regards to their right to have a state of their own, with Jerusalem as their not dividable capital.

But support for the “Judeo Christian” heritage will not save a single soul. Christians who are followers of Jesus must continue to preach like John the Baptist to both Jews and pagans. Repent or perish.

  1. Christians who are followers of Jesus must continue to preach like John the Baptist to both Jews and pagans. Repent or perish. “Repent or Perish” is that the same as “Convert or Die?” The Jews say the same, the Muslims say the same & the Christians too?

    1. is it any surprise that they all claim to follow the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob? Humankind is called to leave their life of sin or they won’t be salvaged for the New Creation (new earth, new heavens, new bodies).

  2. Amen Ivar. I used to like Pastor Hayford and listened to him in the 90’s along with John Hagee. It’s hard to imagine they could fall this far but Jesus warned, “But whoever denies me before people I, too, will deny before my Father in heaven.”

Hebrews 6:6 says, “And who then turn away from God it is impossible to bring such people back to repentance; by rejecting the Son of God, they themselves are nailing him to the cross once again and holding him up to public shame.”

So much for once saved always saved? What do you think about this Ivar? Are these men lost forever? They preach another Gospel.

    1. Dear JM.

      Shalom.

      You asked:

So much for once saved always saved? What do you think about this Ivar? Are these men lost forever? They preach another Gospel.

      My comment:

As a Christian Zionist, I do agree with men like John Hagee on a lot. Like His support of Zionism. But Zionism does not save a single soul. neither do Communism nor Capitalism.

I am not the final judge of John Hagee. I will still tell him to lift up Jesus in every forum. At least take his name, and pray a short payer in His name. Also when there are Jews percent. If they want to walk out, they have a problem.

Many Jews did not want to listen to Peter nor Paul. Nor will they listen to you. But you still have to love them and support them in regards to their rights to the land.

      1. Yes, Ivar, I think you have voiced an appropriate Biblically founded correction to the two extremes that are voiced among some.

On the one hand, we have those who believe in the erroneous Replacement Theology, and who say, “God is finished with Israel and the Church has received the blessings which were promised to Israel.” That can be clearly refuted from a closer reading of Scripture. God is NOT finished with Israel.

On the other hand, we have the opposite teaching of some like Hagee that Jews can be saved without the Blood of Jesus. Those Old Testament saints who were saved, were saved by the Blood of Jesus the Messiah. This, they demonstrated in their animal sacrifice that looked forward to the day when Messiah would come to fulfill what the “blood of bulls and goats” could not accomplish without the validation of the Messiah. Everyone who is ever saved will be saved by the Blood of Messiah. “Without the shedding of blood, there can be no remission of sin.” (Hebrews 9:22)

HOWEVER—We need to separate faith issues from nation-state issues. The nation of Israel was/is not only the people of God by faith, they were/are a nation-state entity as well. As Gentile Christians, we have no such nation-state status. Our ultimate citizenship is in heaven alone. But we must support Israel’s right to exist, because of the promises of God to them—that He would one-day restore the nation of Israel. This promise was NOT predicated on their obedience—it was given unconditionally. The early Church believed and taught that Israel would one day have the Kingdom restored to them (based on the risen Christ’s conversation with His disciples in Acts 1:6-8) Their long punishment in the wilderness is over. They are now back in the Land (albeit not spiritually alive as of yet—see the “dry bones prophecy” of Ezekiel 37). God is clearly doing a work there and woe be to anyone who tries to stand in His way. The true followers of God will support Israel.
