Angry protesters gather in Tripoli to demand deportation of Libyan Jew David Gerbi, who has been trying to reopen a sealed synagogue.

A few hundred angry protesters gathered in central Tripoli on the eve of Yom Kippur on Friday, calling for the deportation of a Libyan Jew who has been trying to reopen a synagogue sealed since ousted Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi expelled the country’s Jewish community in 1967.
The protesters carried signs reading, “There is no place for the Jews in Libya,” and “We don’t have a place for Zionism.”
The crowds tried to storm Italian Libyan Jewish psychoanalyst David Gerbi’s Corinthia Hotel in central Tripoli. There was also a demonstration in Benghazi in the east of the country.

My comment:
The supporters of the Arab spring have few things in common. But Jew-hate is something that can bring them into unity.
When the Jewish community in Libya was expelled in 1967, it was a reaction to yet another lost Arab war against Israel.
The Arab world is today as Jew-free as Hitler Germany was “judenrein”.
There is no word within Islam for religious freedom, not democracy. Every nations where Muslims are in majority, the rest of the flock must live in submission to “allah” and His messenger.

If he’s found safety in Rome, have him kiss the ring.
Dear Matt.
Shalom.
I know the spirit behind your irony, but will permit you to comment based on grace. Rome is more than the Vatican. Rome in this context is the secular republic of Italy.
Italy still displays Christ on the cross in their courtrooms I noticed during the Amanda Knox trial. As for Rome, kiss the ring anyway. Bunch of us Americans’ taxes are paying for the Zoinist-Raytheon Smart Bombs, missile shields, Caterpiller bulldozers, brass knuckles Israel needs to mount itself daily.
