Pope branded by Jews as friend of the Jewish people

The late Pope is branded as a man who accepted the Jews as saved “elder brothers”.

When hundreds of thousands of people converge on the Vatican for the beatification of Pope John Paul II on May 1, a Brooklyn-born Jewish orchestra conductor will have an honored place among them.

This is recorded by the Jewish News agency, JTA.  This is how the story goes.

“As pope, John Paul prayed at Auschwitz on his first trip back to Poland in 1979, and he repeatedly condemned anti-Semitism, commemorated the Holocaust, and met with Jewish leaders and laymen”.

In 1986 he crossed the Tiber River to Rome’s Great Temple to become the first pope to enter a synagogue. There he embraced Rome’s chief rabbi and paid respects to Jews as Christianity’s “elder brothers in faith.”

A few years later John Paul oversaw the establishment of diplomatic relations with Israel, and in 2000 he visited the Jewish state.

John Paul’s death triggered an unprecedented outpouring of tribute from Jews around the world, and Jewish leaders joined the millions who crammed Rome for his funeral. There, in St. Peter’s Square, many faithful raised the cry “Santo Subito!” — a demand that John Paul II be made a saint right away.

The process ordinarily can take decades, even centuries. But John Paul’s successor, Pope Benedict XVI, put the Polish pontiff on a fast track toward sainthood, waiving the usual five-year waiting period after a candidate’s death before the process may begin.

My comment:

To be able to shift the Papal throne from Rome to Jerusalem, the Pope must be branded as a friend of the Jewish people.

All the Church reformers called the Pope an anti-Christ. Simply because the Vatican promotes a false Messiah, a copy-cat “Jesus”.

When the world falls into chaos, even the Jewish people will turn towards the “man of peace”. The Pope is an excellent candidate. He is promoting a Universal brotherhood of all faiths, that express “Christ in all”. His deception is so glossy and toothless, that all man can hail Him as the man who unites the World.

 2 Thessalonians 2

Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers, ² not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter supposed to have come from us, saying that the day of the Lord has already come. Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness revealed, the man doomed to destruction.

All the Jews who refuse to accept their own Jewish brother Jesus of Nazareth as Master, will instead accept a lawless man who do not demand a Jewish surrender to the Son of God. When Jesus returns as the Lion of Judah, the Pope and His followers will face judgment for this falsehood.
