Spaniard claimed healing by Popes “kipa”

Carlos Vazquez had Crohn’s disease. He claims he was healed by touching the papal cap in 2006.

The Pope has to hold a hand on his kipa, now claimed to have communicative powers of healing.

Spain’s bureaucratic health care system almost killed Madrid resident Carlos Vazquez, a Crohn’s disease sufferer. But contact with John Paul II’s white papal cap miraculously cured him in 2006, author Randall Meissen relates in Living Miracles:

John Paul will be beatified on May 1 due to a French nun’s cure from Parkinson’s, but a second miracle is needed before declaring him a saint.

In Norway we say you can measure a man after the size of his hat.

Carlos Vazquez experienced constant pain and severe weight loss during his struggle with Crohn’s disease, a supposedly incurable autoimmune disorder causing inflammation of the digestive tract.

By September of 2006, after dropping to eighty-four pounds, his situation was life threatening. Nonetheless, Vazquez was repeatedly turned away by Spain’s public health system due to bureaucratic technicalities.

A friend of Carlos Vazquez’s family lent him a relic of John Paul II, one of the pope’s white papal skull caps, and suggested he pray to the pope for a miracle.

The cap, properly called a zucchetto, was placed in the Vazquez living room; thereafter, Vazquez and his wife recited each day a prayer for John Paul II’s intercession.

The Pope had bad health, but his kipa has claimed healing power.

On the night of November 14, 2006, Vazquez went to bed, suffering from his usual abdominal pain and unable to eat solid food.

That night, he dreamt about John Paul II, and the next morning awoke, free of pain and with restored energy.

“I don’t know if this type of healing will receive official recognition,” says book author Randall Meissen, “but it can’t hurt to praise God in face of such a cure.”

My comment.

Did this man really pray in front of the hat of a departed Pope?

Did the hat have a secret conversation with Jesus, or was God Him self under the cap?

May be the righteousness of the creepy bacteria on this head cover, was the “holy items” required for performing a miracle?

I do not need to excuse God for working through the handkerchiefs of Paul. But to make a doctrine, that God will work through all handkerchiefs, would be wrong.

Acts 19:12
so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them.

The holy cap is blown away in the wind. Will it loose its healing powers?

I hope and pray that people will be healed, walking into my shadow.

But because some people might have been healed walking into Peter’s shadow, will not force Jesus to copy this act into my life.

Regardless of what I claim.

The Bible does not confirm any healing power of the shadow of Peter.

Acts 5:15

As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by.

What Rome is doing, is to institutionalize “god“. He can not be contained by man, and told what to do. Rather we are His subjects.

Another falsehood of the Roman Catholic Church, is to claim powers of items belonging to deceased people. While both Peter and Paul were alive when miracles took place around them, the Roman Catholic “saints” seem to be dead and gone before they receive any claimed miraculous power.

It will be very difficult to verify that it was a dead pope who performed a miracle through a cap he left on Earth. To summon the spirits of the dead is anyhow a grave sin.

Whatever might be inside my handkerchiefs, I pray that you will not bow down to it, and absolutely not kiss it. And If I ever see you parading this textile on your shoulders through the streets, I will call the ambulance of the closest mental hospital.
