Would the Libyan ship Almathea be able to bypass border control and customs when entering American sea waters?
The Gadhafi International Charity and Development Foundation do not have noble motives for trying to reset the borders around the sovereign state of Israel.
Would the US ever allow Gadhafi to dock any kind of ship in America, without first doing a proper halt for an American defined custom and security check?
The Arabic captain of the ship, might have sent the following message to the US Coast Guard.
“We do not have any weapons or banned material on board. We will therefor sail up the river beyond Galveston, and give some “aid” to the people who live at the beach around Seabrook”.
Why should the US Coast Guard object to such an “aid flotilla” sent to the hard tried American people, at the edge of a disaster area in the Gulf of Mexico?
It would hardly be a distance of 70 kilometer from Galveston to Seabrook, and the Libyan’s had expressed their noble and peaceful intentions.
This is exactly the piracy attitude that Israel is facing from Libya. The Islamic state do not recognize the Israeli control of the sea waters around the Jewish state.
The Israeli Government has not banned Libya from helping Hamas in Gaza. But Jerusalem have demanded a proper border control and customs clearance at the Israeli seaport of Ashdod, or the Egyptian seaport of El-Arish.
After the proper security check and border control, the Libyan aid shipment will continue by road to Gaza on trucks.
The distance form Galveston to the beaches of Seabrook in Texas, is the exactly the same distance, as from the Egyptian sea port El-Arish to the beaches at Gaza city.
