But how can it be that the Vatican say that Roman Catholics believe in the same God as the Muslims?
Jesus from Nazareth came and said He was a servant of God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
When the Vatican expresses that their God is the same God as the God in Islam, they do not believe in the same God as Jews and Christians. Islam do certainly not believe in God of the Bible. Jews and Christians might disagree up on who the Messiah is. But they agree that God of the Bible is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel.

He has paid for my sins, and the sins of the whole World. If you do reject this as the truth, you will die in your sins and perish. Thats why Israel survives wars and defamation, and not even Ahmadinejad will be able to destroy her. But Jesus taught that the source of lies, hatred, and murder is the devil and that those who do these things are doing the devil’s works, identifying the devil as their father, rather than God. His teaching regarding where such people will end up is very clear. They will end up in hell, where there will be “weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
