Shimon Peres: «Goldstone Report a great victory for terror»

«The Goldstone Report is a great victory for terror. We have no chance against the built in majority against Israel in the United Nations».

Shimon Peres do not have any trust in the United Nations.
Shimon Peres do not have any trust in the United Nations.

This is the words of Israeli President Shimon Peres In an interview with Newsweek published on Saturday. Peres said that «Never before did any terrorist organization gain such recognition, in the most unfair way», referring to the UN-commissioned report on Operation Cast Lead, which accuses both Hamas and Israel of committing war crimes and possibly crimes against humanity.

«We have a problem in the United Nations: There is a built-in majority against Israel. Israel doesn’t stand a chance to win any single issue because the Muslim and the Arab nations and the ones who follow them are a majority», Peres said.

«The terms of reference were one-sided: to investigate the war crimes of Israel. And the conclusions, they’re one sided. There are 26 recommendations. Not one deals with terror. The terrorists are flying free and high. It’s unbelievable. Israel does not occupy Gaza. We left Gaza completely. We are the only country that forced our own settlers and army without any foreign pressure to leave Gaza. And for eight years we restrained [while they fired missiles]. No reference to it,» said the president.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu told the Washington Post that Israel was looking into the possibility of opening an internal investigation into the accusations, but not because of the Goldstone Report.

When asked whether he supports an internal Israeli inquiry into alleged war crimes committed during the IDF operating in Gaza, Netanyahu replied that it was being looked into such an option, «not because of the Goldstone Report but because of our own internal needs».

Speaking the truth was «the best way to defuse this issue» the prime minister said, because «Israel was defending itself with just means against an unjust attack».

«Serious countries have to think about adapting the laws of war in the age of terrorism and guerrilla warfare. If the terrorists believe they have a license to kill by choosing to kill from behind civilian lines, that’s what they’ll do again and again. What exactly is Israel supposed to do?»,Netanyahu said.

Also in the interview published over the weekend, Peres said Netanyahu was no longer a rightist.

«He came from the right, but he’s no longer a rightist. He agreed to a two-state solution and to what no other prime minister ever agreed to, to freeze settlements», Peres was quoted as saying.

Peres told Newsweek he may have had «a certain influence»upon the steps that Netanyahu has taken.« don’t expect him to take everything that I say. My advice is simple: We have to make peace. We shouldn’t postpone it,» the president said.

Netanyahu, for his part, said he believes his government represents «a consensus of the Israeli public».

He went on to blame the Palestinian Authority for preventing the resumption of peace talks by setting preconditions. «We just wasted six months because of the Palestinian effort to place preconditions on the negotiations, preconditions that weren’t there for the last 16 years … it’s freezing the settlements, it’s committing in advance to the results of the negotiations».

The prime minister claimed that «the gist of the problem is that for 62 years the Palestinians have refused to recognize Israel as the nation state of the Jewish people».

Danish MP: «Palestinians» who attack Denmark and Israel should go back home

Denmarks Peoples Party request Arab Palestinians who are not happy with Danish policy towards Israel to go back home.

Danish party chairman Pia Kjærsgaard is tired of complaining Arab Palestinians
Pia Kjærsgaard is tired of complaining Arab Palestinians

Pia Kjærsgaard is the chairman of Denmarks Peoples Party. She remembers her younger days, when the conflict between Israel and the Arab Palestinians were located in the Middle East.

«I will request Palestinians that are not happy in Denmark, and who keeps on complaining in public about Denmark’s relationship with Israel, to go back home», says Kjærsgaard

«In the old days we could support Israel in their struggle against Palestinian terrorists who «bravely» attacked everything from school children, tourists and sportsmen. When they attacked Europa the conflict came closer to us. But the conflict will never become «Danish», proclaims the party leader.

Kjærsgaard spoke at the opening of the annual party convention in the city of Herning:

«Today, hardly a week goes by without complaints from Palestinians all over Denmark, in our municipalities and in our daily life. Everywhere we have to listen to their endless list of complaints. I am tempted to say: «Please go back home».

My comment:

The Arabs who claims to be Palestinians refuses to face the realities of life. Israel is there, despite the Islamic nations endless effort to make her vanish.

And to their shame, there is already two million Arab Israelis living inside the state of Israel, with citizenship in the state of Israel. The majority of them Muslims.

Since Denmark might be a more advanced society than the Israeli in some areas, and even have a better social security system, what are the claimed to be Palestinians complaining about?

They are not happy enjoying freedom, social security benefits and democracy in Denmark, as long as the Jews are not suffering.

So let them go back home. Let them enjoy their »freedom» in Gaza, or in Ramallah. Because the only reason they claim a right to return to Israel, is a desire to destroy the Jewish homeland.

What should be the other reasons for demanding a return to a state they hate so much?

Two more Qassam rockets fired from Gaza into Israel

Two Qassam rockets struck the western Negev late Saturday night, triggering alarms in the southern town of Sderot after a two-week lull. No injuries were reported.

Happy News Year israel. A Quassam fired from the «liberated» Gaza-strip.
«Happy New Year israel». A Quassam fired from the «liberated» Gaza-strip.

The launches come two weeks after two Katyusha rockets launched from Lebanese territory slammed into the northern Galilee.

A militant group claiming links to Al-Qaida said it was behind the firing, to which the Israel Defense Forces retaliated by firing shells into Lebanon. No one was injured on either side.

The group cited Israel’s blockade of the Palestinian enclave of Gaza and preventing worshippers praying at the Aqsa mosque in East Jerusalem as the reasons for the action.

Late last month Israel Air Force planes struck a tunnel in the northern Gaza Strip early Sunday in response to a Qassam rocket fired by Palestinian militants into the Sdot Negev regional council in the western Negev on the previous day.

Days before, Gaza militants fired two mortar shells at the western Negev, which landed near an Israel Defense Forces base. One soldier was lightly wounded and received medical treatment on site.

The Israel Air force responded later that day with bombing smuggling tunnels in the southern Gaza Strip. Three Palestinians died in the assault

Also, earlier in the month, militants fired mortars at a crossing into Israel just as Palestinian patients were being transferred for treatment.

The IAF responded by attacking smuggling tunnels, with no known casualties on the Palestinian side.

My comment:

It was only two Qassam from Gaza, whats the hurdle?

Why was there fired rockets from Gaza into Israel in the first place?

The people of Gaza has been ruling them selves since 2005. Gaza is no longer «occupied» by Israel, and all the Jews has left.

What if Israel had fired two rockets on Cairo? What would have been the response?

The purpose of firing rockets into Cairo, would be to tell tell the Egyptians to end the «occupation» of Gaza. Because after the Hamas took control over Gaza in 2007, Egypt has closed is border to their Muslim brothers in Gaza.

Since Israel left Gaza in 2005, and Egypt closed the border in 2007, if Gaza now is «occupied», its under occupation of Egypt. To blame Israel is unfair and an Islamic lie.

The logic of Hamas should have resulted in rockets being fired from Gaza towards Cairo, in a bid to get the border opened. Because firing rockets into Israel, will not result in the opening of the Egytian border crossing of Rafah in South Gaza.

The truth is that Hamas continue to fire rockets into Israel because it wants «Palestine» to be liberated. And the rocket fire will not stop before both Jerusalem and Tel Aviv has been handed over to the Islamic terrorists.

And when Israel can not take such provocations and war crimes any more, and respond by removing both terrorists and rocket launchers, The United Nations will send a delagation to the Middle East and accuse Israel of commiting war crimes. Thats a combination of evil and madness.

Bible lesson # 18: Lets be ready to answer questions from all Muslims

Not all Muslims are terrorists, and even people who support Islamic terrorism might ask you questions about the Bible. All faithful followers of the Messiah have to be ready to answer.

Muslims who seeks for the truth will ask you questions about then Bible
Muslims who seeks for the truth will ask you questions about the Bible.

If you visit the the top scroll of «The Messiah is Faithful», you will find an interesting ongoing debate between ATW, who is a supporter of Hamas, and the editor of this site. I have to give my brother from Gaza, or wherever he is located, credit for asking me interesting questions. Here is a copy of one of our spiritual encounters:

Dear ATW.

Shabbat Shalom. Thanks for challenging me on my knowledge of the Bible. In my comments I am using the NIV Bible version. Your questions have numbers:

1. Is Jesus God or Man? Was He created?

Jesus is both God the Son and Man. He was God the Son in Heaven, came to Earth to save is in form of a Man (in flash), and went back to Heaven where He is God the Son.

2. Where did he say that he is God in the Bible?

John 8:58
«I tell you the truth,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am»

John 4:24-26:

«The woman said, “I know that Messiah” (called Christ) “is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us».

Then Jesus declared, « I who speak to you am he»

John 10:17

«The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again».

John 20:28

Thomas said to him, «My Lord and my God!»

3. What about John 14:28?

«You heard me say, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I»

Jesus spokes this words as a Man, completely human. Still He can promise his students that he will be going to His Father in Heaven, and important: He is coming back.

In Heaven, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit is always in agreement. God the Father speaks, God the Son does, and God the Holy Spirits reminds us about the truth, and tells us about things to come.

How did Jesus come into perfect agreement with His Father in Heaven, in the days He walked on Earth in flesh?

Hebrews 5:7

«During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission».

Jesus could sometimes spend the whole night in prayers, alone, up in the mountains.

4. Where does he say that he is the son of God in the Bible?

Jesus multiple times says that He has come to display the likeness of His Father God, do do the will of His Father God.

John 8:28

So Jesus said, «When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am the one I claim to be and that I do nothing on my own but speak just what the Father has taught me».

John 8:38
«I am telling you what I have seen in the Father’s presence, and you do what you have heard from your father»

5. Do you have your supporting “evidence” in the original form – not the poorly translated English version that so many decided to rewrite yet claim it to be the word of God?

You can read these verses in Hebrew if you like.

6. Where does the Bible say that Trinity exists?

Luke 3:22

«and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased».

Now, here you can read about the trinity in one and the same Bible verse. Father God spoke from Heaven. God the Holy Spirit can down on Jesus, who is approved from Heaven to be His divine God the Son, who was to walk on Earth as a complete human. This event takes place at the Baptism of Jesus, when my Master is 30 years old.

Do you remember your own Baptism?

If not, why? Are you sure you are baptized, or have you just been told by others?

Since Jesus was baptized, and surely remember His own baptism, and its important for God the Father that all should be baptized…

I guess God would like you to be able to answer Him when you met Him?

Genesis first chapter also speaks about the creator Father God telling «let us make» He speaks in plural. If «Allah» is alone up there, as claimed by Islam, not having a divine Son, the Bible is a complete falsehood. If God the Father has a divine Son, the Koran is a complete falsehood.
