Mark Driscoll: “The Church Is dying”

Only around 7 to 8 per cent of Evangelicals are actually practicing their faith.

Pastor Mark Driscoll warns about Christians turning lukewarm.
Pastor Mark Driscoll feels the need to shake and wake up many Christians.

Outspoken pastor Mark Driscoll says Christians need to be of stronger resolve because of “darker” days, and argues that “the church is dying,” in a promotional letter for an upcoming leadership conference in Seattle.

He explains, “Some will tell you that between 40% and 70% of Americans are believers. The latest statistics reveal that those actually practicing evangelical Christian faith is only around 7 to 8 per cent. The need for young Bible-believing, Jesus-following leaders is desperate and dire. My desire for the Resurgence Conference is to bring together some of the best teachers I know. Men with a lifetime of lessons to share. Men who are leading the resurgence.”

Christians are being ostracized, gay marriage is being legalized, the bandwagon has stopped carrying us and has started running over us,” he continues in the letter. “The church is dying and no one is noticing because we’re wasting time criticizing rather than evangelizing.

“The days are darker, which means our resolve must be stronger and our convictions clearer. This is not the hour to trade in work boots for flip-flops,” Driscoll adds. “You didn’t think you were here to kill time listening to Christian music until Jesus returned, did you?”

My comment:

That the Church is dying, should not come as a surprise to people who read and obey the Bible.  People who do not practice their faith, needs to open their Bible and read about the hypocrites.

Jesus the Messiah warned us about the end of the age.  A watered downed candy coated “gospel” will be preached. Many Christians will freely walk into deception, or turn lukewarm. Many spirit filled followers of Jesus will face betrayal by their own family member. The last days will be a season of deception, bloodshed and martyrdom.

The Messiah said bluntly that all who run the race to the end, will be saved. If you surrender to a compromising spirit, and turn a friend of the World, you will not make it to the Kingdom of Heaven.

Be wise. Do not surrender. Keep up the good fight.

Rather be hated by the whole World, than to take pleasure in sin, and regret for eternity in Hell. Let all men be liars, but God the truth.

Barack Obama puts on the shoes of Neville Chamberlain to get «peace in our time»

Obama’s decision to accept an offer of «talks with Iran» is a mistake of simply staggering proportions. It was inevitable, and yet even so it is hard to believe that an American President can be quite this reckless.

History repeat it self. Obama on his way to Theran ro reach an historic peace agrement

It didn’t take a rocket scientist to work out what would happen next, after Obamas speech in Cairo in June. A senior government official in Jerusalem commented on the Iranian response, «Iran has spat in the face of the United States and the world».

The United States was reportedly disappointed by the Iranian response to the willingness of the Western powers to open dialogue with it. The Obama administration announced at the end of last week it was ready to begin such a dialogue. But the US and the five other Western powers are said to want to start talks even before the United Nations General Assembly opens on September 23.

State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley said Friday:

«Now we are willing to meet with Iran. We hope to meet with Iran. We want to see serious engagement on the nuclear issue, in particular».

Iran delivered its response to foreign diplomats in Tehran on Wednesday, which was released publicly on the non-profit Web news site ProPublica Friday morning. Israel received a copy of the response a few hours earlier. American officials reportedly told Israel they were disappointed by the document. A senior government official in Jerusalem said.

«The Iranians didn’t leave even a shred to move ahead with. There will be talks, but it seems the time has come to move to paralyzing sanctions against Iran».

My comment:

The difference between Adolf Hitler in 1938 and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in 2009 is only marginal.

Obama as Chamberlain. Who would have guessed this would be the outcome of the US elections?
«Peace in our time». Who would have guessed this would be the outcome of the US elections?

But there is a difference, that will make Barack Obama look like a bigger fool than Neville Chamberlain.

Hitler promised Great Britten partnership and peace. The Iranian President has never stopped promising war in his public speeches.

The first victim will be Israel. The Ayatollahs believes that the Jewish state must go, before mankind can get saved. Either freely, or by force. And if needed, by use of Nuclear muscle powers.

The second victim is freedom and democracy. Because there is no place for such in Islam, who has to rule the World to redeem mankind for such Western promoted deceptions.

The third victim is you.

Obama: We will give you the Zionists in return for peace

On 30th of September 1938, Neville Chamberlain delivered his famous «peace for our time» speech to delighted crowds in London.

The deal with Hitler, was a peace treaty between the United Kingdom and Germany. The price was that Sudetenland, the «West Bank» of Czechoslovakia would be surrendered to Germany.

In 1938 Neville Chamberlaine came home to London with Herr Hitlers signature, and promise of peace.
In 1938 Neville Chamberlaine came home to London with Herr Hitlers signature, and promise of peace.

In a similar fashion, Obama is willing to give up the districts of Judea and Samaria in Israel for a peace deal between the USA and Iran.

In 1938, Hitler and Chamberlain agreed that is was the «stubborn people of Sudetenland» who were the threat to World Peace.

In 2009, Obama and Ahmadinejad have already agreed, that its Jewish Settlers that are the stumbling block that has to be removed. The only thing missing is a signature on a piece of paper.

Daily bread from the life of Y´shua

Acts 1:6
So when they met together, they asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?”

The student of the risen Messiah did still not understand that Jesus was going to ascend to Heaven. They still hoped and believed that Y´shua was going to free them from Roman oppression. But they were wrong. The Jews was exiled, and the restoration of Israel did not take place before 1900 years later. In 1948. The Messiah gathered his people back home to Zion, were He soon will appear to save the Jews from an attack of all nations on Earth, staged by the final anti-Messiah and promoters of «all faith leads to the same God».

Daily bread from the life of Y´shua

John 11:34-36

“Where have you laid him?” he asked: “Come and see, Lord,” they replied.
Jesus wept. Then the Jews said, “See how he loved him!”

God can not feel pain. Wrong. Jesus wept. He was moved to see the unbelief of the Jews. They did not believe that the Messiah could raise Lazarus from the grave. Some people think Jesus cried because Lazarus was dead. That is wrong. Lazarus was not dead. And there was no need for Jesus to cry, since He knew His Father in Heaven would agree with Him in regards to Lazarus.
