Even when there is trouble on all borders, life seems to go on as normal in Israel. I have been very close to Gaza for the last days, and the Jews are surprisingly calm.
Also Jerusalem was peaceful on the Sabbath. Inside the Muslim quarter of the Old City, Jews were shopping among thousands of tourists. It was business as usual.
The Jewish people have full trust in their army, that their generals and soldiers are fully in control. The Jews have a great history, where God of the Bible has given them many victories on the battlefield.

MK Danny Danon (Likud) wrote on Thursday that if the Palestinian Authority acts unilaterally to change the status of the West Bank and Gaza Strip through the UN this September, then Israel “too, is no longer bound by its contents and is freed to take unilateral action.”
In an op-ed piece in The New York Times, Danon explained that if the Palestinian Authority moves to get UN recognition of a Palestinian state within 1967 borders without negotiations with Israel, then Israel would in turn be free to halt aid to the Palestinians, annex the Jewish and uninhabited areas of the West Bank.
As a first move, Danon said, Israel would stop security and diplomatic assistance to the Palestinians as well as the transfer of tax revenues, “upwards of $1 billion per year” permanently. The Likud MK added that “this alone could threaten the very existence of the Palestinian Authority.
Why did Israel not annexed Judea and Samaria after these areas was liberated in 1967?

Few Christian Friends of Israel are aware of the fact, that Judea and Samaria is governed by emergency military rule. The secular government in Israel never believed in and used Biblical Zionism, that Judea and Samaria is Jewish land. If they had, these two Jewish districts would already have been made a fully legalized part of the state of Israel.
If Israel had followed the Word of God, there would not have been a political and military crisis around this issue. The Mountains of Zion would have become a fully integrated part of Israel 46 years ago. It was God who gave the Jews a bright military victory in the 1967. The Jews failed to obey Him. Now liberated Jewish land are in danger of being surrendered to Islam.
As long as Israeli civil laws are not valid on the so-called West bank, the Arabs can claim these areas to be “occupied”. Because before 1967, these areas were governed by the Kingdom of Jordan.
Now, the International community demands that Israel shall surrender these areas. The pressure on Israel is massive, and the lack of civil rule in these area has become Israel’s doom. There seems to be no other options than to give into pressure, and sign some kind of “peace agreement” with the Arab Palestinians.
