Qatar is mediating negotiations between Israel and Hamas for the potential release of 10-15 hostages held in Gaza in exchange for a humanitarian pause in fighting, a source briefed on the talks told AFP Wednesday.
“Negotiations mediated by the Qataris in coordination with the US are ongoing to secure the release of 10-15 hostages in exchange for a one- to two-day ceasefire,” the informed source said, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the talks’ sensitivity.

Wikileaks exposed the hypocrisy and doble standards of Global leaders. Lying through their teeth. The USA could have arrested the political leaders of Hamas in Doha in Qatar. It would take Washington D.C 45 minutes to do so. Just outside Doah, on Al Udeid Air Force Base, 10.000 US servicemen are stationed. And across the bay of Qatar, in Bahrain, is the HQ of the US firth fleet. Washington D.C is not only protecting the Hamas leadership in Qatar. The USA joins Qatar in black mails against the Jewish state of Israel.
