This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
The Messiah made a new deal with the Jewish people, his brothers and sisters in the flesh. He came and brought an end to the atonement for sins through the offerings of bulls, rams and birds, required by the Law. He came to purge out sins by making peace with God the Father and all men, by offering His own blood.
